Been playing EA PGA this morning, back to Dark Descent laster in this afternoon I think.

Also hankering for a bit of CK3 so might fire that up tomorrow and have a run on that.

I'm 100% not buying this only to be suckered into a black Friday sale, where I will buy it, play be a pro, mess with FUT (or whatever it will be called now) before I get bored and don't play it again. Then I'll repeat the cycle in 2024 until forever.

Cracking on with Alien Dark Descent for me, having a blast with it, stressful at times but loving every minute of it

Like @nessisonett, was also partial to games like FIFA Street and more arcadey takes on sports, fingers cross this is decent.

Happy to see a 60fps patch, hopefully help with input delay on the swing... Also probably means I'll need to relearn the swing seeing as I have been compensating all this time!

Been years since I have played a COD game and have no inclination to pick one up now.

Never played Alan Wake so will likely give that a go. Same with Endling, looks quite interesting.

Everyone has finally left me to my own devices so I'm sat melting on the couch just starting Dark Descent, working my way through the tutorial mission.

I'm a sucker for tactics/strategy games I'm hoping it decent enough.

I can see me pre ordering this very shortly, still a fan of the first one and play it regularly but it could do with an overall upgrade.

I really should play Dragons Dogma, bought it ages ago in a sale and never ended up starting it.

Typically, there's nothing catching my eye and I've got funds in my PS account after cashing in some points and using a ShopTo reduction to top up my year of Extra.

Christ, I remember my parents taking me to see it at the cinema, certainly doesn't feel like 30 years ago... I would have been 8.

Not played either of these, always been tempted as I love a good park/city builder game, I just have so many that I've never took the plunge.

I've not played a basketball game.aince the NBA Jam days, the Bulls were my go to back then. Might give this a bash.

I've nearly pulled the Teigger on JWE2 and Trek to Yomi a few times so happy with those two.

I didn't get a chance to play the demo but still had an eye on this to pick it up, so the fact it's coming to Extra is brilliant news.

I've had it since the start of the week and whilst it's enjoyable, more so for me than 2k23, I would hope we get a 60fps patch soon, to maybe fix the swing as it feels a bit heavy and the timing seems a little off.

Having fun with it though, cracking recreations of the courses, I started my Amatuer at St Andrews as it's just down the road from me and they done a cracking job with it, Augusta looks amazing as well.

I've got it pre ordered. I know that might bite me in the backside as their last effort was dross but I wasn't big on PGA 2k23, so I'm hoping this turns up.

Can't wait to shoot a triple digit effort on Augusta on the first day 😂

I'm going with a re-re(re?) release of P5. Super Dooper Phantom version which adds 5 new Personas and 3 additional lines of dialogue for all the main characters. And a new cut scene.

All for only £84.99.

And if it's not that and it is actually P6 well I will be mighty upset.

Bought Sackboy a while ago now, great fun game playing through with the wee man.

Other two dont interest me too much but it's not like I've not got plenty to play at the minute.

Wouldn't be for me.

I mean, we are still putting out games for the last gen, have very few true PS5 experiences as it is, so why would we need a pro? There hasn't been the jump in display tech like there was last gen when 4k and HDR really picked up pace, so other than milking the paying punters, I can't see a real need for it.

I'm a sucker and will no doubt get it but it's gonna have to have a lot of the features the DLC added when it launches, or it will be a sale purchase for me. No way I'm buying a strip backed base game and a load of DLC at full price.

Never bother with HFW as I wasn't a huge fan HZD. Will probably give it a try now though, same with Scarlet Nexus.

Really I would just like to be able to use my Galaxy buds.

I would buy these providing they don't go daft with the pricing, I don't really need another set of wireless buds so I sure as poop won't pay an ridiculous price, but would like them for use with the PS5.

Can't wait. An excuse to start a other city and try out the financial district DLC.

I've nearly bought Olli Olli World and Mafia some many times over the last few month but have held off because I have too much still to play and there is of course a good few new games on the horizon I'm interested in, so it's great for me.

The other two hold no interest but 2 outta 4 ain't bad.

This would be a "if money was no issue" purchase for me. I don't particularly like the gloss panel look they've gone for, the battery life is worse and I can't see it having a substantial impact on how I play, but if money wasn't an issue, sure, why not.

Unfortunately money is an issue. No so much that I can't heat or eat, we are comfortable thankfully, but enough that I'd expect divorce papers for dropping £200 on a controller.

First year I've not bough this since I was a kid, tempted to pick it up on PS5 but if I can't get real badges, names fixes, profile pics etc then I'm not sure I will, not having those things bothers me way more than it should.

And with that, I think this will be a deep sale if I even bother with it now.

Pity as well as it was one that was on my radar to pick up but the demo and now these shenanigans just scream that it's not all it was cracked up to be

Feeling a bit of Witcher burnout so have put that to the side to start Elden Ring. Fancy popping on a bit of GT7 as well later as it's been a while.

Picked up MH Rise for cheap as well on the Steam Deck so no doubt carrying on with that when I can prise it away from the wee man.

Never actually played a DMC game, can't say they ever appealed to me all that much but might give it a bash of I remember it's there.

Will play through LIS Before The Storm, never got around to buying that but enjoy LIS.

It's on my list, although I've not played the demo... And have plenty to tide me over just now.

I'm thinking this is a sale purchase if it seems half way decent once released and patched a bit.

I really shouldn't get anything this month because I have bought Elden Ring, which I'll start after I finish up TW3, in the sale as well as a load to play through on the Steam Deck and Switch, but then there is both Personas, MH Rise, Dead Space and Forspoken.

Although Forspoken I'm likely to wait on reviews because as much as I want it to be good, I'm on the fence about it.

I really shouldn't get anything though, not like these games are going anywhere.

Hopefully finish up The Witcher 3 over the next couple of days then will begin Elden Ring.

Been mostly on the Steam Deck, playing RE7, Xcom 2 and Micro Machines. Having a great time with it, good bit of kit IMO.

I'm working my way through The Witcher, ended up buying Elden Ring in the sale and will be opening a Steam Deck tomorrow, so imagine it will be a mix of things when I get a min between family, food and TV

Nothing for me. Elden Ring is tempting but seeing as I have never got along with Demon Souls (PS3 or PS5 versions), Dark Souls 1 or Bloodborne, I really should just avoid it.

Can't think of anything I really want that I don't already have.

Next game I'm looking at is Forspoken, if they can give me half off a pre order I'd really appreciate that.

Yup, playing just now, ray tracing looks wonderful but got it on performance mode for the 60fps.

Looking forward to sinking another 100 and odd hours in and getting to Toussaint to see how good that looks with all the bells and whistles

Downloaded it at midnight ready for this morning. Got a few hours on it.

Not really had any issues bar what @KundaliniRising333 mentioned about flickering in RT mode, but I had to turn that off anyway as the 30fps felt brutal, much better in performance mode. Looked good in RT mode though, just can't hack 30fps.

Enjoying the struggle of getting used to the clunky combat but it will come back to me.

Quick casting is a huge improvement, just waiting on muscle memory to kick in so as I'm not casting Aard when I need Igni etc.

Not a fan of the new camera, had to revert back to the old way.

Improved load times are also nice.

I'm a happy bunny, been looking forward to another playthrough and happy with the improvements

I remember the wee man picked this up on PC for £1.49, I've never given it a go but he was none to impressed, he just thought the name was amusing 😂

I've never gotten round to ME so looking forward to them.

I'll add Biomutant and Devine Knockout to my library knowing full well I'll never play them cause neither look all that interesting IMO.

December is looking like a good month, between this, TW3 Complete Edition, a new Cities Skylines DLC, still got to finish Frontiers, holiday will see some PGA 2k22 with the old man, me and the weeman are getting a Steam Deck for Xmas (I obviously know this, he doesn't), plenty of gaming on the cards.

Cannot wait, been looking forward to this for ages, glad it's shaping up well.
