Pacman 256 (or whatever it's called) with the wee man, good for a wee break from bigger games and a fun little coop game.

Still working through GoT, about to have to clear out the Forge after saving Yuna's brother, just tidying up a few side quests and the like before doing that. Assume I'm nearing the end of Act 1 at this point but haven't really checked as don't want any spoilers.

Have been messing around with Empire of Sin as well, it's always interested me as I love this type of game but never pulled the trigger because of reviews. Happy it's on Extra so as I can give it a go, seems ok though I've not done very much at all.

Happy with Crash, especially as it's the PS4 and 5 version, means the wee man can get it as well, he's has been wanting it for a while although we are still working out way through the trilogy.

That makes it a fine month for me.

MoM I had on my list of games to try on extra, not too fussed about the crossover with the potential to keep it if I down grade.

Multiplayer crap, as ever, will be ignored.

Crash is a solid pick if true, me and the wee man will no doubt have some fun with that.

MoM I can get through Extra but in all honesty I'm not fussed if there is overlap, not like I'm missing out there.

As always, anything multiplayer ain't for me so that will be left well alone.

If you know how to set up filters correctly it really is amazing what they can do. Genius you could say.

Some people get so wound up by the least of things. Imagine letting it get to you like that.

The emails are a minor annoyance. Set up a folder and with a rule that puts them in that folder. Then turn notifications off on that folder. Purge it every so often if you need to.

I honestly find it baffling that there are people out there who thought they could just lay down £80/£100 a year and they would get access to an ever expanding list of games forever more.

Boggles the mind so it does.

Would be nice however if you got a bit off it if you choose to then purchase the game, much like you get with GP.

Extra here. Happy with that, premium would be a waste for me regardless of the catalogue

All the other heavy hitters I own already (Returnal, Miles Morales, Spiderman etc).

Depending on the quality added during refreshes I can see this being quite decent for the money, certainly I'm getting my money's worth as we start the service.

Was gonna get a quarterly next week when my sub runs out but might just fork out for the year and see how it goes

Upgraded to Extra last night and had a quick look through, seen what looked like a lot of PS4 games listed as Premium.

I'm gonna assume as it was so late my brain was tired and I was missing something obvious.

Nice update, been a wee while since I've picked this up but a few new menus will get me back into it

My PS+ is up next week's so I'll probably upgrade to extra, couple of games I've not played that I've never felt like buying but wouldn't mind giving a go.

Reckon I'll take a 3 monther then bump it back down, anything I desperately want to play I would rather purchase if I'm honest.

I'm not huge on going back to old games and if I ever get the urge I have all the old consoles so can't see me ever having a need for premium.

Only one wishlist game on sale which is Trek To Yomi but I'll pass just now, not because of the price, just got too much to play and not a lot of time to play at the minute.

This is the sort of game I have no interest in but can see myself picking up on sale for a laugh and getting hooked...

Shredders Revenge with the kid, done a couple of levels already but not had a huge amount of time so gonna get stuck in this weekend.

RE2 PS5 edition will be getting fired up as well.

I loved it, great game, would have maybe liked a little longer but in reality it was probably a good length.

Might give it another play through sometime over the summer.

I only pick up DA:I because it was something like £4 in a sale and I was looking for something to play, had a good time with it. Hand played any other DA games.

Picked myself up a Nova Pink dual sense for £45 last week, nothing games wise taking my I terest though.

I hope not, not much of a fan of GoW (and already played it on the PSPlus Collection) the other two... All Star Brawl might be fun to play with the wee man. That's about it.

Got a 2nd Dual Sense on Amazon with a few quid off the other day so been playing a bit of resogun multiplayer with the wee man.

Other than that we have cracked out the old mega drive and have been playing some classic sonic.

Tomorrow I plan to start on the RE3 Remake

I can't decide whether I expect they will be god awful to try to push people to try one of the higher tiers of they will pull an absolute blinder to build some hype before the NA and Euro launches.

Probably just be meh...

If we get that list here there are a few games on the extra list I have never bothered to buy but would take a few months sub to play through them.

Premium or whatever it's called list is of no interest, got my old consoles if I ever want to go down that route

We got an HDMI adapter for it and it works well enough

I picked up Toejam and Earl and RE3 in the sale so the plan is to finish up RE2 and start on 3, and will be playing some TJ&E online with my old man for a wee bit of nostalgia.

The kid has just picked up a PSP so no doubt there will be some time spent on that as well

That will probably be it, tempted by RE3 but I, need to go back and finish up RE2

Could the sports game be their delve back into golf? Get it out in March, a month or so before The Masters. Have Agusta/The Masters officially licenced, make a killing among golf gamers

@The_Moose I had never played Xcom before getting 2, that and the War of the Chosen expansion are fantastic, looooong load times on the PS4, never tried it on the PS5 though

Empire of Sin is one that I am I interested in but some of the reviews put me off.

Think it needs to be a little lower for me to take the plunge

@GMaster7 Frostpunk is fantastic, defo worth a go.

I have this on my mobile, it's fine for me in short bursts. Not exactly light hearted but a a decent enough game

I've hardly touched the PS5 over the past couple of weeks but FIFA will get me back too it, not bought it this year (or last) so will see what it's like. I don't expect much will have changed. Was never big on FUT so not like I've missed a season worth of fleecing.

The other games I'll probably add to my library with the intention of playing and never get round to them.

Any time I have gone back to an old game, not a remake, I never feel like the hold up.

Not interest in the top tier service at all personally, but my kid wants its.

Trying to put the stoppers on that, just bought him a second hand PS2, he already has a PS3 and he like to collect retro consoles, so hopefully this will work out cheaper as we can just pick up the games we want and not be forking out for a service that will probably be full of filler.
