I wonder if this game will be difficult. The Chinese military in the 1930s was far inferior to Japanese military. They lack modern weapons and anti aircraft weapons. Players will be fighting against a modern westernized military as a soldier in an antiquated military.

Just because costs have gone up, doesn’t mean corporations need to pass on that cost to consumers with a price increase. Why would I say that? Because corporations didn’t pass on savings from the 2017 tax cuts to consumers. Corporations are getting a tariff refund but won’t be reimbursing consumers for the tariff costs they previously passed on to them.

So if corporations are going to hoard savings from tax cuts and tariffs rebates, then they should try to eat the cost increase as well.

If they are going to charge so much, at least make a console that lasts a long time. The PS3 that I paid $600 in 2007 died in 2012.

Shameful move by a Japanese company which is literally spitting on the country’s culture of companies putting people first, the consumers and the employees. Sony might as well just call itself a US corporation and move its headquarters to America.

Shouldn’t the price of consoles be cheaper now that the tariffs are illegal? Hope the sales drop big. They need to stop being vague and explain what exactly are the global economic conditions.

I’m fine with that. I prefer to delay giving more money to Sony for a new console. Still bitter about the PS3 I paid $600 in 2007 that died after only 5 years. Of course by then the warranty had expired.

Based on the comments here it looks like there are folks who buy both the physical and digital versions. Maybe I should start doing the same for the games I really like.

So I guess the first 3 Jaws movies will be featured in the ROM hack portion? Maybe to defeat the shark in the first part, you have to shoot the tank in its mouth and to defeat it in the second part, you have to get it to bite the power cable lol.

Love these re-release compilations. I give a lot of credits to companies like Konami for re-releasing their classics in compilations to own since the original releases are out of print and expensive. A big thumbs down to Nintendo for locking their classic games behind a subscription paywall with no purchase option.

It’s not available now, only in EU region. They should say available in EU now instead. I ended up turning on my console only to see it’s not yet available in my region.

That’s fine, I wasn’t planning to purchase on release date anyway. Will pick it up on Black Friday. My backlog will more than tide me over until then.

First person shooter games are not very popular in Japan, might have something to do with the country’s pacifist constitution.

Don’t people who get in now will forever get a 33% off every year going forward because since their subscription expires before Black Friday, they just let it expire then get in on the deal the day after and get the discount.

I will get it but don’t know if I will ever beat it. I always get overwhelmed by the puzzles and difficulty in the RE games. The only RE game I actually finished is RE Revelations which I assume is one of the easier RE games.

I hope Silent Hill 1 remake will be more like a remaster than a remake. I want to own a copy of the original game but it’s too expensive.

Agreed, I have the remastered trilogy on PS3 but it’s pretty dated now by current gen graphics.

We need a Halloween III DLC for this with a level set in Santa Mira/ Silver Shamrock factory with the Silver Shamrock commercial theme playing in the background.

We (US) will probably have a different president by the time the PS6 is released.

Got both games for free since I purchased them on PS3 so can’t complain about the lack of trophies.

I strongly disagree on closing Wii U eshop wasn’t that big of a loss. It had so many classics retro titles to purchase at a reasonable price including for systems like GBA, DS and Turbografx as well as retro titles never before localized like Earthbound Beginnings. At least Sony is re-releasing PS1 and PS2 titles to purchase on the PS4/5 store. Nintendo is now locking all their retro games behind a subscription with no option to purchase that were available on Wii U eshop.

I want Battlefield 1942 experience. That’s an all out warfare on land sea and air including battleships and submarines.

Have to give Sony massive credit for allowing us to purchase classic games instead of accessing them only via subscription and allowing downloads on more than one console. I wish Nintendo would do the same.
