This will sound strange but I actually didn’t think Japanese corporation would be this greedy. I thought it was mainly US corporations that put profits above all and Japanese corporations care more for their people including employees and customers (Hence why Shigeru Miyamoto isn’t paid $20+ million a year like US executives). I hope the original PS2 game will get a re-release on PS4/PS5 as part of the classic PS2 monthly games release that launched recently.

I assume the downloaded PS2 games will take up a good amount of space? Hopefully they will be available to purchase outside of paywall premium subscription. Still annoyed that Nintendo shifted their retro games offerings to a subscription paywall with no option to purchase.

One major complaint I have about the newer FF games is that there is little if any memorable music featured in the earlier games. They need to work on fixing that for future FF entries.

Does this version provide save areas in the final dungeon? I heard in the original version the final dungeon is 2 hours long with multiple bosses and no option to save.

I’m actually surprised the Suikoden series actually is popular in Japan and the West. From what I understand it’s based on a Chinese novel. Normally things Chinese are not really popular with Japan or the West given the century of tensions with China.

$40 is a steal for so many old Turtles games. Try buying them individually and $40 isn’t enough for one of the games listed.

With Square and Nintendo remastering so many of their classic games, I’m surprised they haven’t remastered or remade Super Mario RPG yet.

I don’t know if a FF8 remake is a good idea. Maybe I’m the only one who still don’t fully understand the junction system and how leveling up no longer helps you get past difficult bosses. I don’t know how they will do the junction system in the remake. Took me 60 hours to get to Ultimecia’s castle. I guess I’m one of the few people who were not used to the change in battling system of FF8.
