While other live service efforts wilt, Embark Studios has proved there is still room for significant success in the online multiplayer games sector, as ARC Raiders has now sold more than 12.4 million copies since its October 2025 launch.
A report from Business Wire reveals the game reached 10 million sales at the end of 2025, and in the past few weeks, sales have spiked as a result of sales promotions across consoles and PC. For example, the PS5 version was 20% off over the Christmas and New Year break on the PS Store.
Patrick Söderlund, Founder and CEO at Embark Studios thanked its huge playerbase for the support. "The community of raiders has been part of this journey from the start, and their ideas and enthusiasm continue to guide where the game goes next."
Another impressive statistic to come out of the sales update is Arc Raiders managed to sustain 960,000 concurrent players during the start of 2026, making it far more popular than some of the biggest multiplayer titles around.
Embark Studios will now turn its attention to supporting the game throughout 2026 and beyond, while still providing content for its previous multiplayer title, The Finals. It previously said it sees Arc Raiders as a "10-year game", and sales in these numbers make that prospect seem far more grounded in reality than it did prior to release.
