RCPS3 is coming on great with plenty of games running well on steam deck nevermind something more powerful. 360 is a little behind but still plenty of playable games though canary. For me PS2, gamecube and wii are were its at at the minute. 4k with enhancements and hd texture packs are outstanding and I'm currently enjoying games like hit and run much more than current releases

PS5s been a bit stale for me lately and emulation has taken over my gaming time on the steam deck (and more recently series s) but pretty excited for this. I've also a decent steam library due to the sales, humble bumble and the crazy amount of free games sites give away.

@AdamNovice think there's been a couple of games running but no, unfortunately not. The vitas a great emulation machine but it just doesn't seem to mix with the ps2

@kyleforrester87 Just download a batocera image from arcade punks, stick it on a sd card and hold volume down when starting your steam deck to select the drive. You'll be good to go in no time(depending on how big an image you choose 😃

@Steeleye25 I'm exactly the same, I've 4 arcade 1ups, the starwars pinball and an arcade legends cabinet and I've modded them all 😃 as you say though I probably spend more time working on them than playing them...

Ps2 emulation has been great for ages, ps3 is catching up now as well. Steam deck is great for most but I recently modded a series s (because the developer mode is now free) and its outstanding upto and including 360

@nessisonett exactly this. ps3 emulation is in a great place now, no reason Sony can't do it

Alan wake 2 would be the only one for me but own it so not a great month. On topic I was kinda disappointed with aw2 having loved the original, found it a bit boring and have left it unfinished 🥲

@ButterySmooth30FPS I guess if you skipped a couple of generations you'd have plenty to catch up on tbf. Asking your age wasn't to catch you out (as someone above seemed to suggest) but rather understand your experience. I'm embarrassingly close to 50 and find this gens last of first party single player games, significant move to subscriptions and online multiplayer live service games and move towards a digital only future just not for me. Don't get me wrong there's definitely exceptions and some that I'm looking forward too but its all so soulless its getting harder to care.
