A big ole 7 for me. Still looks great and plays as well as ever but the hackneyed, drawn out story just reminds me of how much better it could have been had they reigned in druckmann

@SgtTruth good call in the prescription lenses. Was tempted by the psvr2 but thankfully just updated from the quest 2 to the 3, can't go back to tethered now 😀 hope you enjoy ag2, it's a lot of fun. AC is good too but haven't put a lot of time into it yet 👍

Bit more dead space remake, played on xbox not that long ago with the bc upgrade thing they do but it's so good I'm loving it again

My prediction is that ps5 is going to struggle this year but hopefully some new announcements will make them bounce back next year. Xbox is finally getting interesting with the direct next week and the AKB games to hit enmasse and with a new nintendo console normally comes a new 3d mario which will be goty material as always. I enjoy all 3 consoles to varying degrees (ps5 mostly) but got the oled steam deck from the Mrs for Xmas and it's just something else, think there's plenty to look forward to across all platforms this year 👍

All about emulation on my new oled steamdeck at the minute. Downloaded a new batocera image full of switch, ps3, xbox etc and it's amazing. But also a bit of evil west on ps5...

@thefourfoldroot1 I'm a big fan of single player story based games too but my experience of trophies in these games is more of an annoyance that are there for padding more than anything. Games like the Last of Us or the Uncharteds just seem to make you scour every corner looking for a collectible which would kind of pull me out of the story a little. Plus a lot of these games include some random online or multiplayer element to achieve some trophies which would put me completely off but I guess I understand the idea of wanting to complete everything the devs have created as a challenge..

@thefourfoldroot1 fair enough, not a criticism just genuinely intrigued by the mindset. I play on several systems and enjoy emulation so maybe that's why I don't get the whole trophy thing (especially people that are so obsessed they'll play any crap just to get another platinum). Each to their own 👍

@thefourfoldroot1 I'm not trying to pretend anything, I was genuinely interested that someone wouldn't play a game that they like the look of simply because it doesn't have trophies and especially as you put it that you consider them 'half games'. Seems like a strange requirement to enjoy games, maybe ocd?

Not fussed on the movies (watched the 1st one amd it was OK, haven't bothered with the 2nd film yet) but could make a decent game and the trailers have looked alright

@UltimateOtaku91 I think one system only sounds like a terrible idea. Like it or not each system brings something different to the table but sadly I believe your right and it will be one system with dozens of individual subs. Sounds *****

@hypnotoad 😀 me too... my first was the collecovision with the 2600 expansion module for Xmas 83 and I still find loads of those games very playable - I still play games like pacman, digdug and donkey kong pretty regularly. Before I got that we used to rent a vectrex from the local video shop, those were the days 🤣

Maybe give lego racing a go but tried powerwash on gamepass and was bored after 10 minutes, made that lawnmower sim seem exciting. Poor month

So I had a go at teardown and that's a weirdly additive wee game... can't remember how many times I played that level with the 3 timed alarms but I knew I had to finish it 😁

@ROTTIEMAN16 Hope you enjoy it bud, its a decent upgrade on the quest 2. RE4 is fantastic and I'm enjoying assassins creed so far but only a couple of hours in. Definitely looking forward to asgards wrath 2 👍
