Bit more spiderman 2. Looks and plays great but the combat does get a little samey. Enjoying the story so far though. The usual couple of games of fifa at some point

@Max_the_German yeah supersampling can help on a 1080p display but it still isn't comparable to a native 4k, hdr image particularly on a decent oled.

@HonestHick I'm like you in that I've bought the vast majority of consoles day one (including random ones like jaguar & cdi) since the nes but the ps5 pro is the first time I have no interest at all. I was happy with the ps4 pro because it bridged the gap to 4k but this is going to be higher framerates and nicer ray tracing. The ps5 has barely hit its stride yet and considering the adoption rate of the ps4 pro I'm surprised sony are willing to invest the huge r&d plus productions costs when they're crying poverty over their bottom line..

The answer is that developers need to get their costs down, ai being an obvious example. As technology progresses of course we still want the big budget games that fully utilise the hardware, without them whats the point of progression?

Still knee deep into emulation and this weekends console is the og xbox along with some model 2 games. Playing these games in 4k with some settings adjusted is like playing a brand new game 👍

It's just sad how sony treats their niche products. As my introduction to vr psvr1 was great, then a quest 2 and the freedom and library quickly outwayed the fidelity so I went for the quest 3. Honestly guys anyone reading this thats on the fence go for the quest, the lenses are soo much better plus there a big and growing library 👍

Little bit more of jedi survivor on ps5 but mostly wii games this weekend. Got the emulator sorted on the steamdeck using the wiimotes and a dolphin bar so playing through the catalogue

Scrap my plans, I downloaded day of reckoning 2 for the gamecube and its amazing. I'm telling you people retro is the future...you can keep your live service etc while I'm playing games from 10 years plus ago in 4k 😀

Worst month in a long time for me but only cause I tried rollerdrome on gamepass and hated it after thinking it looked good. That soap thing has no appeal and while I'll add the other one to my library I'll never play it
