I get that AI has its problems and probably needs to be regulated more, but this kind of stuff is just histrionics. AI will become the norm and this kind of news won't mean anything to anyone.

Does quality of life also mean there's an option to turn off the characters shouting their move names each time they use them? Cause that got annoying real fast.

When has anyone ever bought a Battlefield game for the single-player? Multiplayer has always been where it's at.

But if the first film was so bad how did it get a sequel? I mean Dredd was great but it didn't get one...

I've played 36 hours and haven't noticed anything.

Most modern tv shows only remain great for about 2 or 3 seasons before they fizzle out. Doubt this makes it to 6.

I've played so many other games in-between 5 and 6 that it doesn't bother me at all. I'll wait and see what the reviews are like and maybe get it on sale.

My own assumption about the combat is that it'll be closer to what Skyrim had. Doubt we get anything better than that if it's a remake/remaster.

So in other words it's almost like a "film" mode. Kojima loves his cutscenes.

I still can't grasp the reasoning for trying to buff or nerf a character in a fighting game. Years ago a game would just come out and, for better or worse, the devs would just leave it be and move on to something else.

Wonder how they'd do a remake. Would it retain similar character designs or would they make it look more like FF7R? Also FF7Rs larger story is different, almost a quasi-sequal of sorts, so would an FF9 remake be the same?

It's a single player game. Once the main quest is over it's finished. What is it they wanted out of all this? The team have already moved on to the next game.

@Areus Remake them to look like what though? They'd end up the same as P3, 4 and 5. No way they'd make them the dungeon crawlers they used to be.

I could only see this happening if it were an FF7R style remake. Alternative timeline were Kratos returns to his younger body and relives the events of the first game, but with the ability to alter how it all plays out.

Feels like an overreaction. Was this the first major outage since 2011? I mean if it happened more frequently I could understand the concern.

Fully expect Bioware to be shutdown after the next game. Been on borrowed time for years now.

Not buying this day one. Gonna wait till the "testers" are done with it and Rockstar then patch it, like most other AAA releases these days.

Better off waiting for the PS6 Pro since PS6 games will probably "struggle to run on it" or "not look as visually stunning".

This isn't really a story though, is it? If you do anything on the internet, anything at all, someone will have a gripe about it. It's been that way since the Internet was created.

To get the third game on Xbox that would mean adding the first two as well. If Square Enix are so driven by sales how will they feel when all three entries end up on GamePass? They wouldn't be sold at full, or even half price.

I didn't buy it yet, and now I'm starting to think I should hold back on buying Falcom games when they first come out in future.

Really makes you wonder why anyone would buy a game on day one when all developers seem to do is either fix it due being a buggy mess or make changes to how it plays due to negative feedback. Always better to wait for the sales.

I saw a mention of doing an AC game in ancient Africa so that a black protag would make sense. Forgive my ignorance but what game based in ancient Africa could Ubisoft have even made? I'm not aware of any part of that history.
