@Judal27 loot boxes are predatory practice used against people with tendencies to gamble and the need to collect. Hence the reason people have bankrupted themselves with these systems.
Who would have thought that resetting peoples loot to effectively zero would tank player engagement. People are getting wise to the tactics of these predatory games. New season = reset = new grind or pay in shop. New season start again! Itās the ultimate money glitch using peopleās natural instincts against them.
Iāve watched quite a bit of it on twitch. I donāt see enough difference from the first game to get me excited. I will play it, Iāll just wait a couple years for a big discount.
Anti trust laws arenāt fit for purpose! Especially when the large corporations get so big they have the judges and politicians in their pockets. Welcome to late stage capitalism!
Ps6 will sell with options like mobile phones. $1000 2 year contract includes ps+ basic. Something along those lines is what the industry is aiming for.
I really enjoyed the first game but it got repetitive. I havenāt seen anything that makes me think this one be be any different. Iāll wait for a discount I think.
Those last two questions about where do you get gaming news apart from this site really opened my eyes. Just realised that I now only use YouTube for gaming news rather than any mainstream media. I imagine a lot of people are the same. Some of the sites listed are dreadful for gaming content and news. Pages of ads and articles written by people who clearly donāt really play the games they are reviewing apart from an hour or two.
Sony make more tv shows than games these days. Incredible that they sell their single player gaming stories to make television but the gaming department decided to almost abandon making single player games.
I wish more games released without games media getting review codes. I think that way weāll get a much more balanced, fiat and honest review. For far too long the gaming media have given favourable reviews because they feel they canāt be overly critical or they risk not getting review codes for the publishers next game. On the other hand user reviews are generally unreliable because of review bombing.
I just donāt think a wolverine gameplay loop will be for me. Probably very melee heavy literal hack and slash. Most people will love it though because it could be very similar to god of war.
The next console gen is cooked before itās even begun. My guess is the starting price of ps6 will be Ā£700
Pc is already increasing its market share that will just continue at a rapid pace. Especially considering you can get decent pcās that hook up to the television and are small enough to put under the box.
I wonāt be buying new hardware until itās been on the market for years! I just donāt trust Sony or Microsoft to deliver the software to compel me to make the purchase.
Battlefield and EA have listened to the players and now they will be rewarded. Also the people making the game (leadership team) have the experience and know how with creating amazing content. Cod being ātoo big too failā could be a very famous quote in the coming years.
@Nem in my mind YouTube reviews are a lot more trustworthy than the official gaming media. Unfortunately the media has been mostly takeover by the same few companies that are so obviously paid shills
āMoving away from hardware centric businessā very interesting that you sell you hardware for such an inflated price then. What this means going forward is ps6 will be the last console as everything will be fully online after that. Probably also means 90% of games will be live service trash with micro transactions to make up for the loss in hardware revenue.
In other words ps6 is where I jump off. Think I will spend the rest of my days on PC playing the 30 year back catalogue of games I always meant to play someday.
āPersonal creative projectsā we hear a lot of this these days. Most of the games released by the og devs are usually very good. Amazing coincidence
Verifying age on a game that you have to be 18 to buy. The same parents that buy their underage kids these games will also just do the verification for them.
@KundaliniRising333 the first game was superior in every way. Combat in the second game was definitely a step backwards imo. The dungeons in the first game were amazing, second game instantly forgettable

Re: Dead Space's Isaac Clarke Is Now in Skate, And He Costs More Than His PS5 Remake
They used to be called micro transactions š¬ they wonder why people are turning to AA publishers and indie games.

Re: Silent Hill 2's Overdue PS5 Pro Fixes Now in Konami's Hands
@DanteDevilHunter it was probably enhanced by clicking a few sliders in unreal 5. That seems to be most of the problems with the pro.

Looks great. Cant wait to watch some gameplay before I decide if to buy early or wait.

Re: Fans Worry About the Future of Former PS5, PS4 Hit Fall Guys
Was great fun at the time. But letās be honest the best levels were all the very early ones. The climbing mechanics ruined a lot of fun for me.

Re: Sony to 'Advance Position as Creative Leader in Single Player Experiences'
@PuppetMaster have you ever played super Mario bros 2?
Re: Sony to 'Advance Position as Creative Leader in Single Player Experiences'
Sonys first party offerings are far less important to me these days. Indie is taking over most of my playing time and I only see that continuing.
