All these years later and street fighter 2 is still the definitive edition.

I’m looking forward to playing the game in a couple of years when I can pick it up for £20. I do not see enough difference from the first game to pay the current asking price.

The least excited I’ve ever been talking about a new generation of gaming. Certainly won’t be getting it until a few years after release (for the first time ever)

We don’t really need much more power for graphics. The next gen should just focus on making all games run at min 60fps in 4k. I’m not sure how well the next gen sell. I can see console sales starting to tail off as people move to Pc.

Watching someone on twitch and the 220,000 cue they were in took about 10 minutes to enter lobby. It’s not like people are waiting hours.

Great for higher level players. Awful news for the regular player that will now be destroyed every game.

I will buy it in 2030 at the earliest.

@Judal27 you can’t teach people self control. That’s the exact reason these companies spend billions of dollars in research about how to trigger human natural reactions. It happens to you all day from advertising to the layout of a supermarket. Hence the reason more people are now going bankrupt from gambling and we have more obesity that ever before. We need laws to protect people from themselves.

Unless you want to live in a world where corporations suck people dry like vampires.

Not my games (too old and slow) but as someone that watches on twitch I found battlefield 6 a much more interesting watch.

@Judal27 loot boxes are predatory practice used against people with tendencies to gamble and the need to collect. Hence the reason people have bankrupted themselves with these systems.

They used to be called micro transactions 😬 they wonder why people are turning to AA publishers and indie games.

Who would have thought that resetting peoples loot to effectively zero would tank player engagement. People are getting wise to the tactics of these predatory games. New season = reset = new grind or pay in shop. New season start again! It’s the ultimate money glitch using people’s natural instincts against them.

@DanteDevilHunter it was probably enhanced by clicking a few sliders in unreal 5. That seems to be most of the problems with the pro.

Looks great. Cant wait to watch some gameplay before I decide if to buy early or wait.

Ps6 will sell with options like mobile phones. $1000 2 year contract includes ps+ basic. Something along those lines is what the industry is aiming for.

Why is the disc drive version such a crappy saving compared to the other one?

Was great fun at the time. But let’s be honest the best levels were all the very early ones. The climbing mechanics ruined a lot of fun for me.

I really enjoyed the first game but it got repetitive. I haven’t seen anything that makes me think this one be be any different. I’ll wait for a discount I think.

Can’t wait! Hope to god they change the controls so I don’t have to tap to run and the auto aim stuff needs ditching.

Sonys first party offerings are far less important to me these days. Indie is taking over most of my playing time and I only see that continuing.

Those last two questions about where do you get gaming news apart from this site really opened my eyes. Just realised that I now only use YouTube for gaming news rather than any mainstream media. I imagine a lot of people are the same. Some of the sites listed are dreadful for gaming content and news. Pages of ads and articles written by people who clearly don’t really play the games they are reviewing apart from an hour or two.

Sony make more tv shows than games these days. Incredible that they sell their single player gaming stories to make television but the gaming department decided to almost abandon making single player games.

I wish more games released without games media getting review codes. I think that way we’ll get a much more balanced, fiat and honest review. For far too long the gaming media have given favourable reviews because they feel they can’t be overly critical or they risk not getting review codes for the publishers next game. On the other hand user reviews are generally unreliable because of review bombing.

I just don’t think a wolverine gameplay loop will be for me. Probably very melee heavy literal hack and slash. Most people will love it though because it could be very similar to god of war.

The next console gen is cooked before it’s even begun. My guess is the starting price of ps6 will be £700

Pc is already increasing its market share that will just continue at a rapid pace. Especially considering you can get decent pc’s that hook up to the television and are small enough to put under the box.

Copying Nintendo has never really worked for anyone. Best to just do your own thing.

It will only get tougher for PlayStation now they have increased the price of ps5.

I won’t be buying new hardware until it’s been on the market for years! I just don’t trust Sony or Microsoft to deliver the software to compel me to make the purchase.

@Enuo cracker island is incredible. I didn’t think they still had it in them to create an album of such quality.

Battlefield has already won this battle

Battlefield and EA have listened to the players and now they will be rewarded. Also the people making the game (leadership team) have the experience and know how with creating amazing content. Cod being “too big too fail” could be a very famous quote in the coming years.

@Nem in my mind YouTube reviews are a lot more trustworthy than the official gaming media. Unfortunately the media has been mostly takeover by the same few companies that are so obviously paid shills
