We know we keep saying this, but Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter really does look fantastic.
A full-blown remake of Falcom's classic 2004 RPG — which made its way from PC to PSP in 2006 — the developer's rebuilt the title in its entirety, placing it alongside the much more recent Trails games as a fully 3D adventure.
In case you missed it, 1st Chapter was just handed a 19th Sepetmber worldwide release date, and so Falcom's pushing forward with loads of marketing materials.
Which, naturally, means that we've been bombarded with fresh screenshots. The new images showcase lovely looking character models, dialogue scenes, and battles.

Now look, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter isn't some truly stunning video game in terms of graphical prowess — but if you've been playing Trails titles for as long as we have, you'll agree that this is a huge step up from previous instalments.
As our headline proclaims, we think this is easily Falcom's best looking release to date — and it's not even close.
