@get2sammyb Come on, what do you mean? Which title has 'maxed out' the ps5? I'm curious. Or did I misunderstand your reply?
Back in the day, R* games did magic tricks to max out the PS2 in ways thought almost impossible to create GTA San Andreas for example. We don't see any of this stuff anymore. The PS5 still has gargantuan potential imo.

Concord was not FTP, just sayin. It was actually expensive for what it was...
Give the makers of this title a little break at least. No one is forcing any of us to play it.

After 2019 it's only been getting worse every year and also just a DLC of the former year COD. Sloppy campaigns, Warzone has infested the whole game and maps and the battle pass, shop, bundles etc etc. It's a complete paid for mess ... I left COD after Blops6. For me, they just can't keep churning out the same games year after year anymore, then they've lost me for good. And by that I mean, before 2019, there was actually a difference between the titles, but it's all been stream lined and a fabricated mess done in a similar framework and engine these days...

Good value for many. Great game! Got it on sale during xmas. Totally hooked. I skippet COD this year, for the first time since 2003, and I'm not gonna look back ...

Guaranteed at the earliest spring 2027, but we'll see. I've got plenty of other games and stuff to do until it ships.

This is horrible horrible and deeply tragic sad news, gutted! Such a legend in gaming. But I know he has family and children. My deepest condolences to them.

DI2 was good fun to plat, so looking forward to this for sure.

I’ve bought every title since the beginning in 2003. But I’ve dropped out this year. After being disappointed several years in a row now. It’s just not the game I used to love playing anymore. Sad times.

Give me a remake of the Resistance fall of man games exclusive for ps6 and I may consider contemplating getting one. Else I’ll stick to plying remastered ps4 titles on the ps5 for another decade … or more

I wouldn't be surprised if this has been added as some form of sugar on the essential pill earlier this week which had only one ps5 game?

Says 'Free with Playstation Plus" for me. Scandinavia Essential here I just added it to lib and downloading now.

It's overcharged as he*l. I only sub to play online and that has always felt like a scam.

@LiamCroft Hi, nice review. I loved DS1and eagerly awaiting DS2. Only gripes I had with the first, was the clumsy menus and map. Are there any improvements in this aspect?

Nah, I tried the demo. It didn’t click with me. Hated the forging of weapons. And the combat was a bit naff and annoying compared to other titles. But that’s just my opinion.

@matekomlosi clever... however, when a physical copy is being sold, it would be nice to be able to run the game without the need to download anything. Why even sell it physical if not?

As your example, when taking a taxi, it's nice not to have to wait for the car to be assembled before you can get the ride home, yeah ...?

Extremely excited for this! Praying for refinements in all compartments and if so, this could be truly exceptional.

All the above and I fear the "GTA+" to be able to do and access this and that and maybe a shorter single player than normal and I'm also curious as to what the online mode will be like. That mode alone should hopefully have been improved A LOT. And so, we'll see if it's the online mode that got the more love or the whole package.

@get2sammyb Exactly. It seems a lot more grounded to me. So much so that I'm wondering if it's less sarcasm and a much more serious tone this time around. I don't know, it's definitely different than prevous GTA's

I upgraded from ps5 to ps5 pro this Easter, all because of the above mentioned in the article. I bought the disc drive last november, just to be ready.

COD BlackOps 4, really? A lack luster title from 2018 and probably unplayable for the most part(most modes) in 2025. The game also didn't have a single player campaign either ... This should be free at worst, thrown out at best.

I can see this being a thing in the future, where you for example play games like Uncharted and you can talk to your in game companion, give orders and make them do stuff etc.

@Tyrii It's a slog of a game IMO. I pushed through the story, then deleted it. To slow, dark, clunky and samey all the way through.

I've never liked any other Kojima games, but fell in love with DS, and I think this could be the same for many gamers. You can just walk around and soak up the secenery while listening to music if you want. Or do missions, combat, build stuff and interact with other player. It's pure magic IMO.

But other than that, this looks insane! I loved the first one and this looks like it's going through the roof
