IO Interactive has published a new behind-the-scenes presentation delving into the gameplay of upcoming stealth action game, 007 First Light.
The trailer includes a few snippets of new gameplay, but mostly focuses on the presentation from the release’s recent State of Play.
But there’s one intriguing snippet we pulled out of the video: James Bond may have a License to Kill, but you don’t necessarily need to murder anyone.
In the video, the dev points out that it’s programmed some new systems whereby you can target feet to detain targets without taking them out. This means it’s able to force you into shootouts without requiring you to kill any of your adversaries.
The video’s well worth a watch if you’re excited for the game: it delves deep into the title’s level design, as well as how the Hitman maker is approaching every encounter with the objective of giving you as many options as possible.
