Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has gone gold ahead of its PS5 release on 26th June.
For those not familiar with the industry lingo, the term “going gold” means core development has been completed, and developer Kojima Productions has submitted its master copy for manufacturing.
In this modern era, teams will often continue working on their games even while they’re being manufactured, which is why titles tend to receive day one updates. However, this is still a milestone moment, as it means v1.0 is complete.
