It's been a long time coming, but Arctic Awakening has a release date at long last, and it's not far away.
Originally announced back in 2021, the first-person narrative adventure comes to PS5 on 18th September 2025, as revealed in this new trailer:
Arctic Awakening has been in development at GoldFire Studios for five years, and was originally planned to release in 2022 with an episodic format.
However, the team shifted to a single release instead, and is finally on the verge of release.
In the game, you play as a pilot named Kai who, in a routine flight over Alaska, finds himself lost in the frozen wilderness after the plane goes down.

His co-pilot Donovan is missing, and all he has for company in the cold is a therapy robot.
Of course, things aren't quite as simple as surviving the weather and tracking down Donovan; a mystery is waiting to be uncovered, and your conversation options and choices in the story affect relationships between characters.
It looks kinda like a frosty Firewatch, and we're certainly down for a game like that.

Looks interesting for sure. Will keep an eye out for the review of this one
@Quintumply I agree that it looks like a snowy Firewatch (which was a underrated walking sim)
I have not heard of this game before, and thought I'd watch the above video to confirm that it was not a game I would want to play. The first 10 seconds or so, and I was of the opinion that I was right, and I would not buy it. However, having now watched the entire video, I am really interested to play the game. The story looks like it could be very intriguing. I await for the reviews with interest...
OK, this is getting out of hand. September will be sick:
Hell is Us - 4t
Cronos - 5th
Lego voyagers - 15th
This one - 18th
Silent hill f - 25th
Oh and in the first days of Oct we have Ghost of Yotei and little nightmares 3
Damn it is good.
@Sergo you're not lying! It's just one "great" (TBD of course) game after another. Had no idea about this one but it is definitely on the list now!
It looks great!
Never heard of this, but after that trailer it definitely has my attention.
@JuiceboxMeister yeah, those are awesome months coming our way.
