Doesn't make a difference now. Sony aren't in competition with them any more. They get their games. No ones buying an Xbox and getting rid of their PS because the next xbox is out a year earlier. I'm honestly surprised they're going ahead with a new console and not just moving full streaming. People insult PS5s output but Microsofts has been twice as bad. And they're trying to cut the gen short and move to a new gen when there's nothing notable on the Series X yet? Who's buying it

I'm surprised people expected it cheaper. It's a Microsoft game. No way we're they giving it discounted. It's £50 on steam. Plenty of 4 year old PS games are currently that price or more. There's still bags of content for the price.

Don't understand the price complaints tbh. It's a Microsoft game they were never giving it at a discount. £55 in the UK and probably £45 if physical. I don't consider that bad with the amount of content in the game

@heavyartillery56 thing is that's pretty much all we had then so its all you knew. When you've been gaming on 60 fps without touching 30 for several years it's hard to go back. It's so sluggish

Where are people getting midrange PCs are doing it much better. A 4060ti is only getting 1080p/60 and that's without RT and with a much better CPU. That's a £1000 system.

@Vladspartan it's enabling stuff £1000+ PCs aren't doing. For a crap pro console that's not too bad at around 600. You're saying not a big difference between the consoles. Literally this post shows there is.

I don't know what people are complaining about tbh "I thought we didn't have to choose on the Pro". You don't. The only thing that's missing is RT. It was never said you'd get performance, resolution and RT all in one. A 4060ti is only getting 1080/60 and that's without RT and with a better CPU. So why is the Pro version looking as it does bad?

@0niguy possibly, I've modded it and it's honestly better looking than anything I've played so far on PS5. The tools are there for them

It's a shame because I modded this on PC and it's genuinely better looking than any game I've ever played. If they put effort in the difference would be obvious

@LavenderShroud yes the trophy system is a feature. No reason an inferior version should have it and the main system doesn't. Millions trophy hunt, I understand the not caring about it but it annoys those who do

@captainsandman not at all tbh. I was pretty late to the party too. I would t suggest them all though its a slog. Yakuza 0 to start or Like a Dragon for the new story arc if you don't mind turn based.

@DonkeyFantasy Nintendo aren't direct competition. Xbox may as well not exist and Sony literally help PC

@Lukeded it's open world I'm not sure how that's terrible level design. Something round every corner pretty much I thought it was good level design

@Vladspartan this is how you get days gone 2 I imagine. If this is a disaster it'll never happen. After the failure of part 1 they aren't gonna spend 3-4 years making part 2 without testing the waters like this

@GamingFan4Lyf I have the PC version so I don't think it does. I can imagine the lighting will be better etc. But I know it won't be as good as my modded version sadly 🤣

@Lukeded it's not a 71 score game. Of you read the reviews they all mentioned the bugs but other games get a free pass. It's an 85+ game. It's awesome.

Probably the best looking game that exists, no idea what the underwhelming graphics comment are about. But jeez it's a dull game.

Like it or not it isn't right it's the only offline numbered FF not to be playable on new consoles. And what makes it worse you can play it on Series X not PS5 😅 give us a remastered trilogy

Rather no compensation tbh. That 5 days might take me past sales day to purchase my sub again

It's good but I feel a little bored at times. The maps aren't that great.

@themightyant exactly this. People just see the £700 but it isn't. The vast majority aren't keeping 2 PS5s. I sold my PS5 slim for £320 and had my Pro was £580 after cashback and discounts. So £260 instead of £700 for the Pro. Absolutely more than worth it and when it comes time to move to the PS6, my PS5 pro will probably sell for £150-200 more than my PS5 would have. So it's barely cost anything

@ATaco I have both personally. So many more games on Plus and it's far cheaper. Both have their advantages

Really wish they'd do a considerable update. Yet again the races are short. Only take 20 mins then you're back at 100% complete.

They tried that with the Series X that's why it had the tagline the world's most powerful console and what happened? It did worse than the Xbox one. Gamers care about the games that's what sells a product.

@Oram77 nah I meant that by as it it's years off 😂 and tbh they probably knew it wouldnt be able to run on PS4 (unless they half assed the game) releasing it 4 years after next gen starts there'd just as many players on PS5 as there is on 4 so it was probably worth it.

@Oram77 they won't, most of it is done and PS6 is still a pipedream. They ain't scrapping it all to then release on a new system that hardly anyone has right away. Tail end PS5 to 100m users would have always been the goal

Did anyone even think this. The vast majority of the work is already done so they weren't gonna scrap that and start on PS6. It'll probably be out a year before that even releases. My guess is it'll be like Remake and have a next gen version later on.

@tameshiyaku as it should be. These games have more content than 99% of games.

They need to make it more like golf games used to be with progression. I miss unlocking all the special balls and clubs to hit monster shots and stat points. And all the fantasy courses from all the old TW games.

It'll be a sad day once it stops. Going from paying £0-£10 for a day one game overall to £50-70. Support it whilst it's here

@thefourfoldroot1 yup both judgements did annoyingly. But I'm a physical gamer and sell once done so I had to power through it to sell 🙃 because 0 was given free its always been there so no rush I guess

@thefourfoldroot1 I even have that one too. But weirdly I haven't finished 0. Simple because I hate playing games twice for a platinum. Went through the hell of the climax battles and haven't been bothered to play it again in hard mode yet

Will be an unpopular opinion but I love when they require 100% for the platinum on 'yakuza' games. Kinda missed they stopped that recently. It's a slog but it feels such an achievement when done. I enjoy the yearly hell of Mahjong 🤣. I'd probably never make this comment about any other series. SO much prefer that to making play twice

@JohntheRaptor for you? Maybe not. For me I can call whatever I like a masterpiece. It was my masterpiece of 2024. It was literally perfect.

Just can't rate metaphor #1. It was a step down from Persona 5 and didn't really do anything different. Not that it should rely on graphics but it's no better graphically than P5 on the PS3 either. Rebirth was a masterpiece and so well crafted it's my #1 this year. Infinite Wealth 2nd and metaphor 3rd.

Edit - completely forgot about Dragon Quest 3. That's 3rd
