I can see them doing Ever Crisis next. For a gacha I enjoyed it. Definitely play a standalone version with those elements removed

@SMJ I'm really glad they aren't. Just feels off to me to always be touching a button when holding it at the back.

I really wish they would make controllers with extra buttons not where your fingers naturally sit on the back. It feels so unnatural to me

@LeeBB_Art I for one can't begrudge them a bit of money with the amount of work they've put into this game. Easily the hardest working Devs this year. And the DLC looks monstrous. They never said there's never any paid DLC in fairness.

@XenonKnight like I say just charge extra, something I read suggests between £4-8 extra. If you charge £10 more you're covered.

@XenonKnight 2 and a download, and they could have done it but just added the cost to the consumer. Physical editions being more expensive is happening on switch

Never seen build quality as bad as PS headphones. I think I went through 4 in about 18 months. Even changing to the elite ones or whatever they were called. Plastic always snaps

It depends what's in it tbh. But given the price of parts, if it releases in the next 2 years I can't see it being much more powerful than the Pro. Id rather they put the money in the CPU so we leave bad framerates behind. PSSR 3-4 can do the GPU work.

Id play so many of these older games if they actually bothered to add trophies. It's be to chase after those in an old classic. Id get it more if it was free but they're selling it too

I'm probably one of the biggest benefactors of physical games, it's easily saved me £3000 this gen. But even I've never said no disc no buy. I just saw it as it had to happen eventually. Just bugs me when people quote the misleading 85% digital numbers, it doesn't help. It's nothing like that for games that make it to stores.

@PercyChuggs no it isn't. It's the price the tech was available readily for on release.

15-20 crashes here but the novigrad performance is awful at times. Seems to drop sub 30 sometimes

More concerned about them making it action RPG to be honest. DQ is one of those series you just don't touch

Obviously it's not great for people with terrible internet but I never get the issue with downloads needed. As long as physical discs keep coming do it all you like. You can still sell it afterwards as well. I'd take a few hours download to keep that

Did like Mafia 3 but after the amount of times I had to play it because it was the buggiest thing I've ever seen trophy wise I don't think I can do it again 😂

@Shinnok789 only because you mentioned the price and a bad investment, digital you'd pay 70, but as it was physical I got to play it and it only cost me £5 overall. Id probably think different if it cost me that much

Reading the comments here I agree with the story, that was 'okay' I guess. But the combat... genuinely I feel I'm playing something else. It's some of the most fun I've had this year. Just a pure brutal slash up and so many ways to fight. And it's actually a hard game on higher difficulties. I easily died 30+ times. And the platinum took me 30 hours. So the memes about 1 button to finish amuse me. Maybe if you're playing on the easy mode where you literally can't die.

I never got this complaint. It's literally wolverines tracking power and you see it for 5% of the game if that. I'm currently playing the Witcher 3, who has Witcher senses and will track someone with a red scent too. Saw literally no complaints about that. It's just people trying to insult a game that didn't score super high who hadn't even played it.

Honestly I know they take time but just churn them out, I'd never get bored. One of the best series for me. And they sell a boatload so I don't know why they paused it

I loved this. BUT - only when you could play as the original protagonist. The keep switching characters didn't work at all. It was much better playing as him. London was recreated amazingly as well, it was worth it just for that

@TheFakulty if anything it does the opposite. Getting one usually means you've seen and done everything the game has to offer. Can't count the number of times I've seen parts of worlds that you wouldn't think to go normally. Literally makes me feel I've had more value out of a game when I've done every challenge and seen everything the developer intended. It's not about playing worse, it's about removing features of previous games.

Started a fresh save here. Frame rate is fine but I just can't see much difference between the remastered version and normal. The character models seem identical, it even got me wondering if I was on the old version, only reason I knew I wasn't is the mod screen 🤣. And the RT is definitely broken. Some lakes have a red tint

@GirlVersusGame this. I feel like I've got my money's worth and seen everything a game has to offer if I get one. And as said they always take you off the beaten track so you see more of a world and experience every feature the game has

@Toot1st I used to think that when I was on Xbox but when I moved over I saw it different. Getting 950/1000 is pretty meaningless as the extra 50 just adds to your full total so it's not worth the hours. There's something about getting that platinum that feels different. People wouldnt stop at one bronze trophy missing to get it as it's something on its own unlike being at 950/1000

Honestly don't know why they don't do this with new generations. The more playtime the more priority you get. Would cancel out most scalpers

@Wall-Di yeah that's what I mean, if I'd played the current PS5 version id have gotten the trophies already. So I still get to chase a new trophy set playing the remastered game

@Jireland92 I really must be playing a different game. I can't see how anyone who's actually played this (have you?) thinks that. The combat is very fun (some of the best combat I've played this year I think) and the story is great.

@CielloArc I must be playing different core elements. The combat is fantastic and the story is good. What am I missing? And now the big criticism about the trails is gone.

Gotta say for all the hate online I expected much worse. But I figured it's mostly people who haven't played it. It's not perfect but I'm having a great time. Combat is fun, especially when you unlock more powers. It's actually difficult too, I've died 20+ times. So I've no idea where they get press one button to finish the game. Maybe on the 'you can't die mode'. Graphically fantastic too and the story is good. It's a solid 8.5 for me.

@Rich33 the lowest I believe I've played is Pragmata, I believe it was 864p. After PSSR2 I struggled to say that it wasn't a native image. It looked fantastic.

@Haruki_NLI dunno why people even make the argument, I'm hard pressed to even tell the difference between PSSR2 4k and native.
