SEGA's colourful kart racer Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is only a week away, but you can get a head start by checking out the newly available demo.
Playable on PS5 only (the full game will release on PS4 as well), the free demo focuses on single player features and modes, and the best bit is that your save data will carry over to the game proper.
So, what does it contain? The demo features the following:
- Four playable characters (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy)
- Eight courses (three main tracks and five CrossWorlds)
- 12 vehicles
- 20 Gadgets
- Grand Prix, Time Trial, and Garage (vehicle customisation) modes
It's a pretty decent taste of the full experience, and for anyone planning to play the game when it launches on the 25th September, the fact any progress carries across makes the demo worth the download.
The only thing that doesn't transfer over to the final game is your Time Trial leaderboard data.
