I already knew I was going to buy and play Rebirth. I felt no need to download it and play it. I was going to play it no matter what.

Watch it until the player uses the gun, shoots down the ship, it explodes, and then the player lets a very satisfied chuckle. THIS IS WHAT GAMERS WANT. We want fun gameplay! If you keep delivering experiences that result in grown men/women, the youths too, chuckling like maniacs we can get this industry back on track.

I pre-ordered it just to support the studio and help fund the change I want to see in gaming. After this preview, I'm looking forward to actually playing it

oooooooooooooooooooo shots fired! Sony's Great Eye has turned upon game guides lol. IMO this is pretty savvy. Gamers don't toil away at something before getting frustrated and quitting and Sony gets to keep people in the game instead of them going to the internet and getting distracted by something else.

I'm curious how YouTube guide channels and other guide websites will react. Maybe get sponsored clips? You go to check how to do something and a YouTuber can pay Sony to feature their guide? Or it links directly to their YouTube account so they at least get a view out of it. Are ads going to be implemented? Do I have to sit through a 15 second ad just to watch a 5 second demo clip?

I love this stuff. I especially appreciate how the Push Square writer played along. I'm all for this Starship Troopers-esque dialog around the game. I wish more marketing campaigns were like this. Helldivers is one of the first live service games I don't get sick of hearing about.

@Yaycandy From what I remember, most games in the 90s (maybe earlier, wasn't alive) had the default set to inverted. Most games I remember were like that: Starfox, Goldeneye, etc. Or it could have been that that was how my brother played and I wanted to be like him. Don't exactly remember.

This looks pretty cool! I'm excited to learn more about the lore.

It screams "modern Final Fantasy settings" to me. Games like FF7 Rebirth and FF15.

I appreciate everything Mr. Ryan did trying to keep Playstation going. I wasn't a big fan of his. I miss the personalities of people like Shuhei, people who were obviously big Playstation nerds. He felt very flat to me but the results speak for themselves.

How refreshing! A game that plays well, performs well, doesn't make news for how massive its Day 1 patch is, and seems to be pretty complete and functional. So it IS possible. Glad people are enjoying it!

I really like that attitude. As a consumer it feels like businesses think they're entitled to my money. No no. You have to earn it.

It's not the 1st party devs I worry about. I worry about Playstation and its arrogant, insufferable attitude when it's leading the pack.

I'm just going to throw this out there. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, if Sony doesn't force us into a carrier specific mobile connection (I still remember the Vita AT&T boos from the crowd) and avoids ungodly over priced proprietary memory cards people will more likely support it. I would.

I stopped buying games day 1 because I was over all of the bugs and patches and missing features.

This looks so cool! I loved the bit where the boss threw the ball and chain and Simon Quest slide-kicks it back at the boss. Love stuff like that.

It shouldn't be the responsibility of the government to protect you or your kids from these games. If you have kids then be a parent and regulate it yourself. If you're an adult then show some self-control and don't participate.

If the majority of people didn't participate the problem would take care of itself. The last thing you should want is for the government to stick it's bumbling nose into your business. It'll just create more bureaucracy and set a precedent that can be abused in the future.

Sorry, no empathy/sympathy from me. They made their bed now they can lie in it.

RCT is one of the only games I keep going back to time and again. Can't wait!

I just miss the Playstation from late PS3 and early PS4, where they at least pretended to love Gaming and celebrate the brand.

Other than that, I appreciate the hard work Jim Ryan put in to keep my favorite gaming company going.

I adore Advent Children. Cloud is one of my all time favorite protagonists and loved seeing him finally coming to terms with what happened and learning to forgive himself. The action scenes were revolutionary and the at times photo-realistic CG are mouth watering.

Remedy's ability to pump out games that look and play way better than they should given their staff size is incredible. I was flabbergasted how premium Control felt.
