@get2sammyb I read it 1st thing this morning and was confused. Wasn't 100% sure if the mistake was the date or the line out this week. Was too early to be that confused 🤣
Having just finished Hellblade 2 last night I can say more gameplay is definitely needed.
For the most part it's just walking forward and watching cut scenes and a few not great combat sections.
The graphics and environments look amazing but it just feels like a tech demo more than a full fledged game.
It's a step back in terms of gameplay from the first and having also replayed that a few months back that didn't play as well as I thought back in 2017
I'm not defending this game but the reviewer is misleading readers with regards as to why the protagonist wakes up in a state of undress.
I saw the begining of a game on a walkthrough. The reviewer clearly ignore the fact she is captured and it's those who capture her that take her clothes.
The game looks dumb enough as it is without having to mislead to make it seem even more so 🙈
It looked rough from trailers but was expecting it to be passable not a disaster.
It's not the only non-Jurassic Park dinosaur themed franchise to copy Jurassic Park s version of a dilophosaurus. My kids are Dino made and if you buy any toy dilophosaurus it looks like the JP ones
When was this written. 007 was recently delayed wasn't it? Definitely won't be out in next few weeks unless we are counting 10weeks plus as a few weeks.
Now my pedantic side has been itched happy new year one and all.
Played some great games in 2025, some were from 2025, some prior releases.
I'll be on 2025 games for a good few weeks or more yet.
Looking forward to Resi 9, 007, wolverine etc this year.
I cannot stand the flexing attitude of "I don't think it needs this, I found it easy." Did you? Good for you.
For me it's not about difficulty so much as it is about time.
I work full time and have 2 kids and a wife, gaming time is at a premium. I don't want to spend too long retrying stages. This mode being added will result in me finally buying this game

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 617
I've bought the winters expansion for Resi Village so going to do the Rose DLC and then see what the main game is like in 3rd person.
Plus a bit of The Tetris effect too as it's very addictive
Re: Captivating Historical Italian Adventure Becomes PS5 Console Exclusive to 'Deliver the Best Experience'
It's now in my radar. Not overly expensive so I imagine it's not a long game
Re: In a Sea of Live Service, Ghost of Yotei Was the Third Best-Selling PS5 Game of 2025 in the US
It was my game of the year despite not being very hyped about it until the week or came out
Re: New Super Lucky's Tale's Name Starting to Lose Meaning with PS5 Re-Release
If it's a free upgrade from PS4 or even discounted I might. But if not it's not worth it for me
Re: Bubsy 4D Might Actually Be Good When It Pounces on PS5, PS4 in May
I think this looks decent.
It's bubsy though so it could still turn out crap but I'm cautiously optimistic
Re: Prince of Persia Remake and 5 Other Games Cancelled by Ubisoft
How bad must this have been to have it cancelled after 5 years of development and an overhaul?
It surely can't have been that far off releasing.
If it was nearly done and they scrapped it, it must have been in one sorry state 🙈🤣
Re: Life Is Strange: Reunion Revives One of Gaming's Iconic Relationships on PS5
@MonkeyDLuffy19 that's a decent game.
I enjoyed that quite a bit but do feel part 2 felt rushed and wasn't as good as part1.
Re: Life Is Strange: Reunion Revives One of Gaming's Iconic Relationships on PS5
@Summer235 it would be some achievement to be worse to be honest 🤣
Re: Life Is Strange: Reunion Revives One of Gaming's Iconic Relationships on PS5
After the awful double exposure I'll pass or wait for a deep deep sale

Re: Two Classic PS1 Beat-'Em-Ups Will Throw a Punch at PS5 This Week
Article needs a correction. Says 23rd October not 23rd January
Re: GTA 6 Fan May Have Already Played Rockstar's Latest, But It's a Very Sad Story
Hope the poor guy got to play and enjoy it.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for January 2026?
@scottXedgar same for me
Re: Ubisoft All-Timer Far Cry 3 Is Getting a 60fps Update on PS5, with More to Follow
@Dan12836666 primal is brilliant. I'll be re-playing that when it gets updated
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 616
Started Tetris Effect connected which is just superb.
Also for a change of pace As Dusk Falls which I'm quite impressed with so far after getting used to the odd art style
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 616
@Duck_Farmer I wish I could experience Astrobot for the first time again. One of the best games I've ever played
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 616
@trymer89 I finished it last week. I absolutely loved it.
Re: The Sands of Time Have Run Out on Prince of Persia's PS5 Remake Launching This Week
I'm looking forward to this as I love the original but I think it will be serviceable at best and an absolute mess at worst

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 615
Now finished Metroid prime 4 started in Hellblade 2.
Not 100% sure on it so far, was really looking forward to it but but not grabbed me yet.
Got blades of fire and Cronos lined up as well. Waiting for the patch to land before I start Cronos though
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 615
@Fartingale I finished it yesterday. It wasn't perfect but I enjoyed it.
Let down by grinding for green crystals a bit towards the end but as I collected loads while exploring and looking for upgrades it wasn't it too bad
Re: Fable Has Been 'Targeting' PS5 for a While, Potentially Day and Date
@OldGamer999 I disagree. I think it's a power play by Sony to hold out porting anything to Xbox other than Live Service games like Helldivers 2.
Re: Code Violet (PS5) - Gooner Shooter Can't Get It Up
@janineking to quote Alan Partridge "a lie is a lie"
Re: Code Violet (PS5) - Gooner Shooter Can't Get It Up
@janineking I found it ok but just surprised me them purposefully misrepresenting aspect to make a joke

Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Month (December 2025)
My vote went to Terminator 2d. Only one I've played to be fair but it was brilliant (way too short tho)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 614
@trymer89 great game. Just pure fun
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 614
Metroid prime 4 on switch 2 and may start hellblade 2

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for January 2026 Announced
Epic Mickey rebrushed is excellent. A superb remake. Faithful content but with a good camera and controls.
Made a very flawed game into a cracking game
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 613
2 of my Christmas presents. Metroid 4 and Terminator 2d. Loving both so far
Re: We Wish You a Very Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas one and all
Re: Cronos: The New Dawn Update Will Add a New, Easier Difficulty Setting in Early 2026
@wilky2988 the medium was also really decent in my opinion too. They're on a roll
Re: Cronos: The New Dawn Update Will Add a New, Easier Difficulty Setting in Early 2026
@wilky2988 that's fair enough. If you want a harder mode I hope you get it at some point.
I'm more confused by those who wouldn't want games more accessible to the less skilled or the time poor gamers.
If a game has an easy/assist mode/story mode and as a gamer it's not a mode you would use it's weird that anyone would not want it to exist.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 611
Getting towards the end of Echoes of the end. It's pretty decent but getting a tad bored of it now.
Ordered the new SpongeBob game. Hoping it arrives today
Re: All The Game Awards 2025 Winners
Shame Yotei got no love. That was my game of the year.
Doom the dark ages was superb too and loved Indiana Jones as well.
Hell is us, lost records, revenge of the savage planet Mafia the old country, sword of the sea are all also great games that seem to have been ignored
