Re: Review: DriveClub VR (PS4)

fybyfyby

@Furtin about motion sickness...i felt it a little when I was drifting through corner at high speed and watching through side window at the same time But I never had any type of sickness in real car , bus, ship.... So if you are sickness type person you can have problems

Re: Review: DriveClub VR (PS4)

fybyfyby

@Furtin Hey man, dont give up. I played dcvr and it was absouletely stunning for me. Yeah, resolution is not great, some textures are not best, BUT, if you are driving it doesnt matter so much. This is type of game, which you should at least try. For me as a petrolhead junior its must have. Im simply bought on on possibility to be in cockpit. And visuals are also nice overall, dont worry. They only arent as sharp as original dc.

Re: Review: DriveClub VR (PS4)

fybyfyby

If it was only this review which makes me decide if I buy or not I wouldnt do it . Especially for 40 bucks. But after I tried it and 20 bucks discount for season pass holders its nobrainer . Tommorrow Ill see if it was good decision

Re: PlayStation VR's Demo Disc Kinda Sucks in Europe

fybyfyby

Theres already explanation from sony, because difference in count of demos on disc isnt anything new. Its because:
"Due to several considerations specific to our region, for example, age rating and localisation requirements, there is a difference in content between the US and European VR demo discs," said a PlayStation spokesperson

Re: PS4 Slim Sales Off to a Slow Start in the UK

fybyfyby

@BAMozzy That makes sense. And because of this I would not be surprised, if Sony after some initial uhd bd players sales unlock uhd bd via firmware update on pro (assuming now, that pro has uhd support but its not turned on). It would be great strategy if Microsoft didnt release xbox one s

Re: DriveClub VR Races at a Reduced Rate for Seasoned Veterans

fybyfyby

I already preordered dc vr season pass edition. Its great game, vr works perfectly with it (I tried it in vr demo) and for that price (20 usd) its a nobrainer for me. Im really looking forward to take a ride with my girlfriend. Me as driver, she as passenger(I hope its true game will allow this) with vr. I think any Mclaren will do the job

Re: PS4 Slim Sales Off to a Slow Start in the UK

fybyfyby

@uMuffin For me missing uhd player is not a problem, but I understand. Sony like a media giant omitted uhd in newest PRO console There was some article week ago about uhd strategy at Sony overall. They are somewhat on beginning of support and are little slow in comparision with competition. But its strange. I dont know what is their strategy. I dont buy "we believe in streaming" thing.
There is one thing I can believe. Because uhd bd players differs from bd players in firmware (error checking) and support of codecs, but not by laser or drive mechanics, there is possibility, sony can unlock it by firmware update. But I dont know what would they wait for. This is best time to unlock it

Re: PS4 Slim Sales Off to a Slow Start in the UK

fybyfyby

@mrobinson91 But the packs are already presented at retail. So its only about have benefit of buying whole back different than fewer clicks when buying

@Jackrov Time has come. This gen gets old faster more then previous. Its hard time for both Sony and Microsoft to carefuly market new devices and not p*ss off loyal customers. There are many arguments why customers cant be p*ssed off. But there is also one, when they can be. Its about premium products. Like you wrote. You bought ps4 and you knew you have best hardware from sony. Now you know you havent.

Its only psychological thing and doesnt really have impact on quality of games on your ps4.

But in the end Im glad sony made pro because microsoft is making scorpio, so there will be adequate competition on both sides.

Re: PS4 Slim Sales Off to a Slow Start in the UK

fybyfyby

Its because of pro and vr. Pro is not so much more expensive. I think theres no point in buying slim except you are very very very tight on budget
Im very curious when in December we have numbers of slim, vr and pro.

Microsoft customers dont have choice what to buy. Theres simply only Xbox one s. PS customers choose between slim, pro or vr (if they have already ps4).

What Im surprised about is that Sony doesnt push some price wise packs of vr (ps4pro, camera, moves, vr and vr worlds pack cost simply like sum of all components) - if they promote pro + vr for 20% lower price, that would be really big deal for newcomers!

Re: Former Sony Exec Jack Tretton Details What Went Wrong with the PS3's Launch

fybyfyby

Price was high. I got Slim in 2010/11 for decent price. 600 is too much. I think Sony is so afraid of Selling again high priced hw, that rather do compromises and result is pro for 400. And thats fact lot of people should consider. Its not about Sony isnt able to make powerful hardware but it costs something. So Im glad for vr for 400 and pro for 400 thanks to lesson with ps3 .

Re: Feature: PlayStation VR Has the Power to Elicit Real-World Reactions

fybyfyby

@Galvatron I love handhelds more than mobiles. I had psp go (excelent design!) , Gba, nds and now 3ds. So Im more Nintendo handhelds Guy , but vita seemed to me like good one except memory cards, but thats something I can imagine to live with.

According to vr....already have tm tx300rs wheel so Im really excited for driveclub vr. I tried demo and its gorgeous! Looking forward for gt sports though!

Re: Feature: PlayStation VR Has the Power to Elicit Real-World Reactions

fybyfyby

Vr is great and cant be compared to move , kinect or 3d technology. Move and kinect are good only for some type of games. 3d is usually too weak to invest into. But vr is very immersing and is applicable to any game and also for real world experience. Of course it will live and die with software support. But I dont know when its better time to do it....ps4 is Selling incredibly well, so it has Selling potential . Technology is very advanced and ready for vr.
Sony did it very carefuly and in the best moment.
Htc vive is great especially if you walk with controller. But I saw borders of screen. Oculus is great also. They are both heavier and have crispier resolution. But to be honest, for me, it didnt add any more to feel the space and to reality on top of psvr.

I hope there will be ton of good aaa titles for psvr!

Re: Buckle Up with DriveClub VR on 13th October

fybyfyby

Yeah, recently I bought season pass on top of other upgrades. I can imagine vr update ase free update but understand, that it cost a lot to make it work.

At least there should be difference between newcomers to driveclub and existing owners/season pass holders.

For 20 bucks its nobrainer, for 40 its too much.

Re: Poll: Will You Be Buying a PS4 Pro?

fybyfyby

This year Im buiyng psvr. Next year maybe pspro. We will see how bad will be new games on ps4 . What ive seen , psvr is ok on ps4.

Its a pity psvr wasnt here last holiday. It would be pretty positioned. This holiday there is too much hardware from Sony. Only good for newcomers. And maybe this is the answer.

Not that Im not happy for new hardware, but I was used to adopt best console tech. I have ps4 from january this year. It was before speculations appeared. If I knew it, i would wait for pspro and psvr. But of course I wouldnt pay for ps plus and buying games whole year. Really Smart from Sony .

Re: Poll: Take the Push Square PlayStation Meeting 2016 Community Quiz

fybyfyby

Already has been rumored 399 for new gpu and old cpu or 499 for both upgraded. There were lot of rumours. But if you put them all together, some of them make sense.

They need to put Slim lower because Xbox one s sells really cheap. 249$ and 399$ seems like good move to me. Still hope for some exchange option for ps4 and neo from distributors or directly from sony . If I should pay 200$ to my 3/4 year old ps4 exchange for neo Im in. Otherwise I'll stay with ps4.

Re: Rumour: PS4K Neo Launches This Week According to Report

fybyfyby

I would not be suprised if Neo starts this week. Slim version wasnt even announced or confirmed and its already out. I have only one concern: Will be PSVR much better with Neo or not? Sony assures us that PSVR is made for PS4 and not for Neo....I dont like the idea that after I buy PSVR I will give Sony money also for Neo.

Re: Hands On: PlayStation VR Continues to Impress in Epic Preview Session

fybyfyby

Definitely I also recommended go to some big retailer or wait for Sony roadshow and try it. Everyone can notice different things.

Perception of space around you is great. Im into 3d maybe 15 years ( Yeah i remember aquarium screensaver in 3d with Riva tnt2 and shutterglasses connected by wire to gfx ). I eagerly waited for some affordable vr headset with game support. Do you remember vfx1? For me this is not anything like boom. These are technological waves coming and coming and coming again. 3d had circa 3 or more waves and every wave was bigger and bigger.

Psvr(and oculus and vive of course) seems to me like another try. But now Its working great!

When I sat into tank in battlezone it was feeling I cant describe enough by words. Theres really things around you only your hands missing . For me its much better experience than 3D in Imax.

Imagine type of games like Kholat , Firewatch or Journey in vr. Definitely different experience. Lets hope there will be great support from developers. 3D and move were also massively marketed. Great games were created for them....But for 3d you needed tv and glasses. For move you needed lot of space.

But experience here is above anything so far.
Try it its worth it !

Re: Hands On: PlayStation VR Continues to Impress in Epic Preview Session

fybyfyby

Very interesting. Im glad you tried different games thna I tried. I was happy to try battlezone, driveclub and rigs.

For me, battlezone is good old arcade shooter with idea simply same like classic atari one. Graphics is minimalistic, vr experience is great. Its fun but cant say if fun will last. Its "Just" arcade shooter . I hope there will be decent (team) multiplayer and great will be also to have vr vs ds4 couch versus mode:-). I had no motion sickness at all with this title.
I hope we will see world of tanks in vr in the future

Rigs was also great. While battlezone feels like arcade shooter , rigs feels like combination of mechwarrior and quake 3. It was fun, graphics was nice and I can imagine playing this for more time. But it depends on variability and number of people playing. I felt little motion sickness when lot of jumping ocurred. But nothing big I have only two complaints:

1) controls are little clumsy. Its standard dualshock but you can also turn mechs head (and aiming) with your head . Finally I ended up with only dualshock moving. On paper it seems like good idea (dualshock for legs and body and vr tracking for head) but in the field I was little disappointed.

2) price seems so high for me. Full price for arena shooter? No way. I read that there will be also some single player. So lets see what it will be like

Driveclub is absolute winner for me. Because I love racing games I was hyped for this one. And it didnt let me down! Of course there is wow effect in the beginning. You can look around, you can look into mirrors you can watch sunset while you drift through corner.... It was really next level of experience compared to standard driveclub. In this title I felt little sick at times I was driving really fast. As in rigs there is simply different move you see and different move you feel. Definitely not for school bus vomitting ones )))
Only little complaint is that resolution seems really low. If they can do decent AA before final release everything should be ok. For me this is the best one!
I imagine now photo mode and walking around car like in gt series would be absolutly great!!!

If you have some question about these there games ask me.

Re: PlayStation Now Streams Sony Exclusives to PC from Tomorrow

fybyfyby

@JoeBlogs I dont think they are queuing but at least they admit (oh wait, im also pc player, who bought ps3 and then ps4 ), that ps has some good exclusivities.

Anyway I see business case more in living room on tv, where children can play some 2d platformers. Also there is group of pc gamers, who envy us ea sports games.

@kupo I understand it. On some places is better to have physical console. For example when we go with friends on game weekend outside the town. We have there old tv, no internet (only slow mobile). So any online service is not usable there . And about streaming services. 6 years ago I was able to connect to game streaming service (I forgot name) with a little lag...but fact is, there werent any local streaming servers in europe, I connected to usa servers lol, so it was very good result.

Re: Opinion: Why the Heck Is Sony Making a PS4 Slim?

fybyfyby

If they announce two consoles at the same time, that would be logical step. But I dont understand how would they market vr alongside to it. Like it was written above....Do you have ps4? Ok, you can buy neo, also you can buy psvr and also camera and also move controllers. Im really curious about that.

Re: A Big PS4 Firmware Update Is Incoming

fybyfyby

Folders
External drives support
Ability to save local multiplayer saves on primary ps account - simply have an option for it - if I want to play diablo with 3 friends who dont have ps accounts I must create them to be able to save hero data
More fluent gui (if you go from game to trophies, sometimes its sooo much slow)
More fluent ps store - sometimes its tooo slow (internet connection is very good though)

Re: Gran Turismo Sport's Epic E3 2016 Trailer Runs Rings Around Its Reveal

fybyfyby

@DLB3 Yeah Im now confused too. For me its must buy anyway but wondering if theres place to release another gt. Gt sport isnt So small like gt5 prologue was. Theres huge multiplayer and solid single - but different like school of driving and etiquete. If they add later more content with offline career as a dlc for 20$ , it should be enough.
