Re: Talking Point: Could Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass Model Work on PS4?

fybyfyby

I chose “yes” but I have to comment it. I think when PS4 comes with free 1 month game pass, that would be great for newcomers. So it seems great for me as some type of demo disc. As for ps now- There should be also alternative in form of downloadable games (of course without PS3 games). So Sony needs to widen its PS4 games support, support downloading next to streaming and set price that if you have ps plus , you can have ps now for only 9.99£/month. That would seem attractive to me enough.

Re: Feature: 4 Things We Want to See from PSVR in 2018

fybyfyby

@Neolit exactly! I was surprised how It was similar to imax . If there will be possibility to connect psvr to any 3D source via hdmi , that would be great! For example PS3 , pc (that can be done via trinus or transformed sbs already),etc...

Re: Poll: What Year Should Sony Launch the PS5?

fybyfyby

@PS4fan Fair point. But for Sony its logical step. It seems, they support VR well so far. But one thing about PSVR games is great. PSVR HMD lowers quality of games because of its resolution (FHD for both eyes together). So technically, if Sony makes stronger console and HMD with higher resolution, games should run with better resolution and higher crispness. We will see.

Re: Soapbox: After the Vita's Failure, Why Do People Now Want Console Games on the Go?

fybyfyby

I dont think that there is some major change in people thinking. Vita is different type of device. If you want compare vita to 3ds. Switch is big portable console. And what about ps tv? Difference is that you will buy 2 in 1 with switch and also it’s nintendo, so it appeals to families. Vita has it’s flaws but switch also (32GB really???). On switch you have big games. Maybe performance is last gen, but you have it. On vita? It’s still only portable. But in the end there is nothing about changing attitudes. 3ds sold well, switch sells well. Vita has some good features - like remote play. But if you want to play big games on vita you need also big console, so that’s different approach than switch. And you can take switch to train, bus etc... simply can’t compare these two. Maybe Sony had similar concept but did it differently (not wrong imho). I think vita would end same these days.

@porhawj2016
9TF is too low
480 is obsolete by 2020. If there will be some Vega derivate (lower clocked Vega has very good consumption) with zen2 cores that could be great but even then it’s not revolution. I think to be able to jump in vr quality Sony needs some Navi derivate.

Re: Poll: What Year Should Sony Launch the PS5?

Next year if bc with PS4. If not then 2020. But I think now on x86 platform ps5 2018/19 with PS4 bc would be great. 2019 would be best from my point of view. It can be more vr related. If it can do 4K for vr (so 90fps) that would be awesome.

Re: Review: Gran Turismo Sport (PS4)

fybyfyby

Honestly I did uturn with gt. In the end I decided to buy it. And I love it so far. Worst enemy of gts are expectations. Many people want Gt6 converted for PS4(as I wanted too). But this really isn’t same car collecting gt. This isn’t direct competitor to forza. It tries to be iracing for masses and accessible for beginners.

I also hope for new tracks and cars. I’m little concerned about quantity PD can deliver. They already stated how long makes to build one car for gt. I hope they have several tracks and cars already in progress.

What can pd do is opening communication channel more. If people know how many cars, tracks or modes are coming, it would help them to decide.

However gts is very nice online game. I recommend it to everyone who likes racing. You only need to switch approach to online racing. Don’t worry. It’s much more fun than offline. And FIA cups are your career mode

Re: You Can Take Gran Turismo Sport's PS4 Demo for a Spin Now

fybyfyby

Tried demo and so far....Im not so much impressed as I was with gt5 prologue. I dont know why. Its gran turismo and also it isnt. I bought PS4 because of GT but now Im considering if buying GT is good idea. Definitely online is good, but Im missing some car collector spirit like in previous instances .

Re: Hands On: Is Skyrim Any Good with PlayStation VR?

fybyfyby

It would be great to be able to use different move techniques. For example Farpoint utilizes type of moving where you can move only forward and backward. Direction is made by headmove. It’s true that in Farpoint you usually go in one general direction with few head corrections, but I can imagine being able to fluently go forward and backward, switch general directions on controller and make corrections with head. It should be much better then simply switch positions.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 161

fybyfyby

Salt and sanctuary motivated me to pickup bloodborne, so I started it on Friday . It's great game . I really don't know if I will be able to finish it lol but it seems nice. You know .... you have to master your weapon , running and shooting around is not enough. And that's something what is not seen in nowadays games.

Re: Round Up: Horizon: Zero Dawn PS4 Reviews Reveal Sony's Next Big Thing

fybyfyby

Oh no.....Just bought watch dogs 2 in GAME shop in exchange for few old games . Great deal but it consumes all my time . I love it , did all side missions. It's so much better than wd1. Also have to go through witcher 3 datadisks.....and then this. Why Sony why ? There's no time left in my life for anything else then playing and doing my job! Gosh!

And I didn't mention that we are rebuilding our flat and second baby is coming. Oh no I need to figure out how I can live without sleeping ))))

Re: PS4 Pro Boost Mode 'Makes a Huge Difference to Some Games'

fybyfyby

@Giygas_95 Hi its now in second phase. According to earlier experience with betas, it usually takes around 2-4 weeks to go public. But boost mode seems to me like most "dangerous" feature - for Sony. If someone doesnt use it right (like turn it on and doesnt know what its doing) and isnt familiar with ps4 settings, this feature can compromise your gaming and then people can start to complain. I have no negative experience with it so far (only positive ), but few games have some glitches as you can read elsewhere.

And because of this feature I can imagine it will take longer to go public. JC3, GTA V and also Witcher 3 are really better now - and of course - not only frame rates but also loading times - and that is really crucial when you always are beaten to death and dont want to lower difficulty.

Re: Yet More PS4 Games Go Cheap on European PlayStation Store

fybyfyby

@ApostateMage Just only datadisks. But they are lenghty arent they? I completed original part of the game this January (started last year on March) It was very long And yes, I love Witcher. I also tried Dragon age but never get in love with it although on ps3 I loved DA:Origins

Re: Sony Confirms PS4 Pro Boost Mode, Already Improving a Number of Games

fybyfyby

@BAMozzy yeah exactly! These features from the start could mean higher sales. But it's strange Sony hadn't promoted these features earlier. Like if they didn't want pro to overwhelm slim sales. Assuming Microsoft shouts everywhere Scorpio this and Scorpio that, it's strange sony even denied psvr 3D bluray support and didn't shout these new great features (boost, bluray, ext hdd), although they must have know it then. Sometimes I really don't understand Sony quietness. Maybe they are playing that type of game "we don't need to shout and market new features because we are on top and of course we have best features". Really I'm little confused about that.

Re: Sony Confirms PS4 Pro Boost Mode, Already Improving a Number of Games

fybyfyby

@BAMozzy I think they planned it from beginning but couldn't make it for holiday launch. I think there can be some problems with games that use low level API. And they couldn't handle it properly. They had to rewrite low level API for ps4pro to handle same code on different frequencies of all components... imho . Otherwise they could turn it on from the beginning. Maybe Sony needed to make more tests on games to be sure there aren't big glitches on the way.
