@Uromastryx For me the issue is NPC dialogue because you can't skip it line by line - I'm playing with subtitles, I've read the subtitles, and don't need to hear it acted out by some nobody character. I'm not talking about skipping cutscenes or important story information, I just want to keep the game flowing a bit more - I've not got a load of time these days (1 year old kid, and another on the way).

A Cyberpunk style fast-forward on NPC dialogue would be grand.

@Reeneman it’s not possible in any cases as far as I could tell? I just don’t want to have to listen to NPCs blabber on tbh. I’m not super invested in the story with this one, just super invested in chopping up some baddies in Japan.

Relatively impartial because I feel like I'm all in on Nintendo this week, but as someone who has owned every PlayStation console including the PS5 Pro, I felt pretty underwhelmed 🤷‍♂️ it was fine and maybe there are some games in there that I'm overlooking in the same way I did with trailers for Clair Obscur when that was revealed. But yeah, didn't do much for me. All love though, I'm sure the future is bright.

That's pissed me off a little bit tbh, as I just bought this game for £60 like a month ago.

Do we happen to know if Ragnarok will be added to the PS Portal cloud streaming beta or if that list of games is static for the time being? My TV time has been extremely limited lately so making use of my portal and (bafflingly) the cloud streaming works much better than the remote play.

Something for most everyone in there! Crazy that TotK's digital sales aren't known because there's got to be a few million of those? Maybe not since the Switch has that feeble internal storage, among other factors, but still...

I thought their episode was one of the finest I've ever seen, I absolutely loved it. However... I'm never really that bothered about learning more about characters who are already dead in the main show and so won't have any stakes in the main narrative going forward. Just my take. But I have watched that episode a lot, and love watching people reacting to it on Youtube too. There's something great about watching people descend into emotional wrecks haha.

And GameFreak can’t even make just a Pokémon game anymore that isn’t a complete riot.

I’ve had loads to be honest, but nothing that’s ruining my experience. Several times I’ve had to reload saves to progress but like I say, it’s still braw.

I haven't played but I definitely want to, and I will next year - probably on Game Pass.

Oh Red is up next? I thought it was Hexe or whatever it’s called. I’m well up for both. Mirage has reminded me how much I like the alternative huge RPG style! 👍

Do we know if this can stream directly from the PS5 (in the same way the Wii U did), or if it's just going to use the remote play feature the PS5 already has?

Happy to see a Part III but I do hope that is truly the end for the series in terms of single player games. Happy for this multiplayer malarkey to have its place and be an ongoing service but we really need those dudes at Naughty Dog bringing us a new IP pretty soon.

It’s going to have lots and lots of updates over the next few years. What’s the point in making a song and dance about not having a day one patch in the first place? It’s the world we live in. If they stuck to not having a day one patch they’d just be shooting themselves in the foot by being unable to release improvements they’ve come up with since the thing went gold. Can’t get my head around it but 🤷‍♂️ whatever.

Looking forward to hearing "the Shagohod" far more times than is necessary in that English af accent.

If it actually streams well via wifi then I’ll pick it up. I don’t really take portable devices anywhere other than the living room anyway, but I need to know this is going to work well.

Dude I love Snake Eater, but... I'm pretty sure folks would buy remakes of all 4 of the original games - why start at Snake Eater? It's hard enough to understand if you have already played the two before it, never mind if you're going in fresh which I assume lots of younger folks will be.

That's a shame, the game is amazing! However, it's on that list behind some serious big hitters/names. When looking at it in context it's really not too surprising!

Delighted with this to be honest - I got plat on HFW and re-sold my physical copy soon after to make back most of my money. Knew I wouldn't play it again until the DLC and that it would be coming to PS Plus at some point.

This was one of the strongest episodes of TV I've seen in a long time. I sat next to my girlfriend watching and my throat was in agony from trying not to burst into ugly tears - I don't know how that works but that's what happened. My girlfriend, who is usually an absolute robot btw, couldn't hold it in either and by the end were just a total shambles.

This episode hit hard. Really tremendous stuff.

I've had a few bugs along the way - I'm about ten hours in. One particularly frustrating one where I ran around for a good while thinking I must have missed something when in actual fact the dialogue to progress wasn't triggering. Reloaded the save and it was resolved. Other than that it has just been little things that haven't detracted from the experience.

@Rocky7 it’s not even showing on the app as part of the ps plus additions. I found it on there by looking through the Upgraded for PS5 section and it’s still only letting me buy it, whereas I can see other games that have the Plus logo and “Included” next to them.

Oh well, would be nice to know if it’s just me having the issue or if it’s across the board though!

@Rocky7 nah it’s not working for me. It’s letting me stream the PS4 version, or buy the PS5 one. Awesome 😔

Am I missing something here - why will it only let me stream Edith Finch and not download? And it says it’s just the ps4 version.

Anybody able to assist? It’s literally the only game I want from the list! I’ve got the top tier ps plus, whatever it’s called.

Is just like to add that if this free upgrade is all I hope it is then I’ll officially have forgiven CDPR for the Cyberpunk debacle. The fact it’s free and will include all the DLC I never bought is a big bonus. When considered along with the current state of Cyberpunk, it’s hopefully time to be excited again by this company 🤞

What are the odds that they throw in the DLC..? I’ve got the base PS4 version and though I hear the DLC is remarkable I have held off so I can have even more reason to get stuck into the PS5 upgrade. If I didn’t have to pay for said DLC that would be extra sweet… though I’ll be buying it regardless if needs be.

@xjulianvel list is looking pretty stacked now. I commented on the article before the newer additions, at which point it was pretty much just Dead Space, Resi 4, and Spider-Man 2 I had any interest in.

I’ve since did more digging into that initial lineup and can see more on there now that I fancy, plus a ton from the new announcements. Happy to revoke my statement now

I’ll be playing through this again for maybe the 5th or 6th time. It’s my favourite experience in gaming from the last ten years.

It is an absolutely wonderful game with a wonderful, substantial DLC and I’m delighted to have another excuse to replay it all.

I know I’ll buy it, but I don’t PLAN on buying it. Hope this makes sense, thanks for your time. 😂
