The latest patch for God of War Ragnarok has now arrived on PS5 and PS4. While we've been pretty lucky and seen next to no issues with the game at all, there are naturally a few bugs affecting some players. Update 2.04 is out right now, and it's on the smaller side, but does fix a couple of nasty problems.

Weighing in at 221.4MB, it's hardly god-sized. First and foremost, it fixes a problem in which players weren't able to change the difficulty in the pause menu. That's not a fun time if you're looking to turn things down/up a notch. Secondly, another bug that would cause a game crash has been resolved.

There isn't much to them, but we've laid out the full patch notes below:

General

  • Fixed a case where some players were unable to change the difficulty level in-game.

Stability and Performance

  • Fixed a rare crash that could occur in the weapons menu.

Some players are still waiting for photo mode to land, which we know will be coming to the game in a future update. Hopefully, it's not too far away now. Are you enjoying your time with the game?
