Ubisoft has announced a New Game+ option will be part of a PS5, PS4 update for Assassin's Creed Mirage arriving at some point in December. The update will also add a new permadeath mode across all difficulties in the game, making your assassination attempts that little bit more intense. The series' Twitter account then confirmed more news will be shared soon.
No other details have been shared, but presumably, you'll carry all your item upgrades, inventory, currency, and weapons over into the second playthrough, where you can challenge yourself to a permadeath run. Will you be making such an attempt? Let us know in the comments below.

I haven't played many AC games but why wasn't this in the base game?
Normally I don't do permadeath modes but honestly that might actually fit really well with Mirage actually. Cool addition!
More of this game is the last thing I would ever want.
I can see a lot of controllers getting smashed as people's characters jump from a high roof top on permadeath mode, only to miss the haystack below 😅
