Developer IO Interactive has detailed the free Extended Operations DLC for its brilliant James Bond action game, 007 First Light, and it packs in a lot of cool stuff.

Available from today, 1st October 2026, the DLC comes as a free update to the game for all players, and it includes lots of exciting new features and content to get you to hop back in.

The video above does a good job outlining all the new stuff, but here are the cliff notes:

  • Valhalla Protocol — a new mission in which you're finally able to drive the Aston Martin Valhalla and put it through its paces. The track has four variants, and you'll be able to compare your scores and times in online leaderboards.
  • Photo mode — you can now take custom snapshots throughout the game. Accessible via the pause menu, it looks like this mode includes all the features you'd expect, as well as custom lighting and unique character poses.
  • Jungle Heist — another new mission that takes place in the Vietnamese resort.
  • New weapons and outfits — the Squire Marksman rifle and Storm 12-gauge shotgun, as well as three new outfits, are available in the Intel shop.
  • New Game Plus mode — after completing the game the first time, you can take on New Game Plus, which will let you use any outfits you've unlocked. The mode also introduces a new '00' difficulty level for experienced agents.

That's a lot of free stuff. IO Interactive is known for providing a wealth of new content in its Hitman games, and it seems 007 First Light is no different.
