I haven't played Infiinite since it came out but I had no idea there was a backlash to it. I absolute frickin loved that game and am v excited to give all three another go thanks to PS Plus next month.
The worst thing about this whole fiasco in my eyes is that Bethesda have ploughed time and resource into it. Like, they can't re-use the world now (which by all accounts is a perfectly good open world) so... just a big waste of time making something nobody asked for and putting everything we actually want further into the future.
@BAMozzy I agree it wouldn't be fair to expect people who reached the cap before the expansions to remain at that level, but my point was that I hadn't given it much thought until it occurred. Not a slight on the game, just my personal experience.
I assume until I get the expansion I'm still able to keep increasing my light level through new gear? Basically, is there any point in me actually playing through any raids etc. right now before I get the expansions?
Just completed the base campaign last night - and got to level 20 - which pissed me off as there are level 50's running around and I didn't realise the level-cap was a paid-for privilege with the expansions. I didn't play much of the original Destiny or do much research into this one, but really I should have known that would be the case.
Regardless, I've not got the expansions yet so will hold off until they're bundled together. Are there more to come or is this everything we're going to get?
