Excited, but not nearly as excited as I'd be if they were doing a Days Gone sequel. Still bummed Sony didn't give the greenlight on it, especially with the potential sequel plotlines we were given at the end of the game

I never used to be huge on collecting trophies but something shifted in my perception of them over the last year and a half or so I’d say. I’m not entirely sure what it is, it might be my competitiveness and wanting to get more than some of my friends, but I feel oddly compelled to get as many as I possibly can. There is a sense of accomplishment with getting them, but on the other hand you can sit back and realize that they ultimately mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. Similar to getting “likes” on a post on Instagram or other social media. It’s a very odd phenomenon

Hopefully they change the setup when you view the game base so that if shows your online friends first versus showing parties. Gets annoying toggling over after awhile

I’ve been curious about this game but not spend $40 curious. Kinda hope this ends up being a PS plus game eventually so I can try it out

Hmm, so my PS4 Sony Gold Headset should be fine to use with PS5 for 3D audio if I’m reading this correctly? If so I’ll probably cancel my Pulse headset preorder

I honestly liked the devkit model V better lol but I’m sure this will grow on me as time goes on

Not sure if anyone else has noticed but Insomniac Games has been posting a different picture on Instagram every day for the last two weeks... They’ve been alternating between Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales (with a reference to the 9 year anniversary of Resistance 3 this past Sunday). I think we may finally be getting some much sought after info next week if I was to guess. Maybe a surprise return to Resistance on PS5 as well as a deep dive for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales? Probably being more than a little hopeful with Resistance but I could see Spidey being a huge talking point on a PS5 price/release date reveal

I’ve never played the OG Mass Effect trilogy but I’ve heard great things about it. Definitely wouldn’t mind checking it out if I get a chance

It kind of seems like a combination of the 2017 reboot of Prey and The Forest, or at least that’s how it comes across to me. Definitely agree it could use some work visually but it also looks like fun. Gonna keep an eye on this one

Oh wow, that is hilarious! I feel the pain though, archers are by far one of the more annoying opponents. Especially if you’re trying to fight a brute or spear-wielding mongol and you keep getting shot right as you attack 😂

I’d 100% take a Dino Crisis 1/2 remake like Resident Evil 2/3!! Keep on hoping they’ll do it but I doubt it’ll happen with how popular RE is. They’ll probably remaster 4-6 and make RE 8 & 9 before a DC game might come up

Please be a Dino Crisis Remake lol not gonna hold my breath though

That’s a tough one to decide on just one lol I chose Days Gone, I truly enjoyed it and would love to see another outing for Deacon, especially after the Nero ending. That said I also loved God of War, Spider-man, Horizon Zero Dawn and Ratchet & Clank. I really enjoyed Until Dawn and like The Order: 1886. It’d be perfect to get a follow up on each of these! *fingers crossed

I might be in the minority when I say this but I honestly wish this game series didn’t have the present day sections. It might be because I didn’t really play the early games but I always thought it would be more fun/cohesive to play as just the assassin from the past, not the present day counter part. The animus setup always gets a bit annoying to me

I played 142 hours in 2019 according to the Sony end of year stats. I’ve played it more since then as well, easily 170+ total by this point. This is one of my favorite PS4 games, highly recommend it!!

If it’s not Dino Crisis 1 or 2 then I’m out. It’d be really nice to to back and play those through a remake perspective

@Nickolaidas I’ve been hoping/waiting for a Dino Crisis 1&2 remake/remaster too. That’d be great following the success or the RE 2 remake

I’ve been thinking for awhile how nice it’d be to have a Resistance remaster collection. Even throw in the psp version too if possible, that’d be a fun collection to replay in 4K w/ 60 FPS

I’m kinda bummed now, I was looking forward to trying out PES. I already bought Detroit last year digitally so there’s not much benefit to this for me

I just platinumed the game last night on my first play through on hard difficulty. Looking forward to playing through on survival difficulty and doing challenge mode too!

I’ve been curious about What Remains of Edith Finch for awhile and Overcooked sounds like a fun one. Not too shabby, although I wouldn’t have minded a game like Mortal Kombat X which is on the PlayStation hits list. Wouldn’t have been bad timing with 11 releasing last week as a way to maybe entice more people to jump into that series (myself included).

@get2sammyb Sweet! It’s nice to be able to have the option to toggle between shoulders, glad that’s in there!

@get2sammyb hey Sammy, this is a semi-random question but in combat do you have the option to toggle between shoulder viewpoints while using a gun or are you limited to the over the shoulder view on the right side? I like being able to switch shoulders while playing, although I typically use the right side

@GamerDad66 agreed. I’d like backwards compatibility for the original ps1/2/3 games if it is disc compatibility or there is some way to get credit for having the disk to get a digital copy of the game. Otherwise I’m not too concerned about it, I still have a backwards compatibile ps3 for my older games

@RogerRoger sadly not, which is too bad because the first one was a great horror game and the second was a great action spin on the series but still had elements of horror incorporated. I’m glad I can still play them on my ps3 lol

I’m just curious if they would follow this same approach if more fans expressed interest in a Dino Crisis 1/2 reboot/remake. That’s what I’m hoping Capcom does but I’m not holding my breath

It would be awesome if it was a Dino Crisis remake/remaster for 1 and 2, but something tells me that won’t be the case

Saw the $3.99 price tag and thought “no way”. Watched the video afterwards and thought “take my money”

Eh, i’ll wait on this one. I’m sure it’ll be interesting once they get the major bugs worked out but I’d rather play a finished/close to finished game than a preview version. Besides, I still need to play the upcoming Spidey DLC, Red Dead II, and Spyro

It’d be really sweet if they went back and did a remaster of the original Dino Crisis and it’s sequel Dino Crisis 2 much in the same fashion as the Resident Evil HD remake or even along the lines of the upcoming Resident Evil 2 remaster/rebuild. That’d be a fun series to see make a comeback

It’d be pretty cool to get a remastered trilogy for this series if nothing else. Maybe include the psp version too. I’d buy it for sure

Can confirm that the US Amazon website currently does not have digital codes available for PSN for gift cards or ps plus. Spider-Man and Days Gone are also unavailable for preorder. Same thing happened to God of War (luckily I preordered that ahead of time) and Detroit: Become Human a few months ago. Not sure what the issue is between Sony and Amazon but it’s a bit frustrating
