Sony Announces State of Play Broadcast for Next Week, Promises New Game Reveals and Updates

So Hyped ! Hopefully some Ghost of Tsushima news ?

I wonder what new stuff will be shown. I'd love it if they announced a sunset overdrive port.

Last of Us Part II BABY!!!!!

I'm guessing Last of Us 2 will be the main attraction with a solid release date. At 20 minutes I don't think there will be too many big things outside of that as I feel other projects seem more destined for PS5 (although I would go nuts for more Ghost of Tsushima).

Perhaps a specific Nioh 2 release date, more on Predator, Medievil, one last Death Stranding trailer and some smaller announcements like VR stuff. Maybe one surprise announcement like a sequel or an older IP returning or being remastered. Either way, it'll be nice just to have some news so I'm looking forward to it!

I remember the days when new games would just turn up in the shop. No reviews, no teasers you just had to take a punt on the box art and screen shot on back cover. Im excited about TLOU2 but the hype is too much. Although im strangely addicted to pushsquare news... Sigh.. I miss the old days

I'm guessing there will be a remaster announcement. Insomniac could announce a resistance collection or sunset overdrive port. A return of sly cooper (still waiting for the resolution of that ending from thieves in time) seeing how well fellow mascots spyro and crash have been doing.

Guess what other major platform holder is having an 'Inside' show on the same day.
Is Sony being the ultimate corporate troll? I feel they've got some major news to drop, just to upstage said other platform holder. That would be delicious.

Is it 'new game' reveals or new game reveals? (First being an actual new game being revealed for first time and second being new information reveals of known games)

Have to keep my expectations in check after the first two sops. It being a bit longer already helps. Just shouldn't expect anything as crazy as Nintendo direct while Sony is prepping for a gen shift.
