@Llamageddon Remasters are just ports with better visuals. Remakes are the same games made from the ground up if they are new games.

There are Remakes I agree being eligible and others not. Remakes like Resident Evil 4 or Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (even though I don't consider it a Remake) are fine being eligible.

But Remakes like Demon's Soul or Shadow of Colossus should not because there is basically no difference compared with the original games.

If Shadow of the Erdtree gets nominated, I will only watch The Game Awards for SEGA announcements. I will skip the GOTY nominations. Only new games should be eligible.

And of course, still no Wild Arms 4 and 5. Instead let's put games to the service that were there before.

Sonic 06 is not the worst Sonic game in the franchise, there are way worse games.

And I would love a Remake, which can fix a lot of things.

Metaphor ReFantazio is the best game of the year for me. Definitely the one that should win GOTY in my opinion. Love the soundtrack

@J-Dubs There are people who don't know that the games aren't connected (save from some direct sequels and prequels) but it doesn't make a difference.

And yes, Final Fantasy has other problems other than the numbers.

@J-Dubs If they drop the numbering system the series is truly finished since the games with Roman numbers that sell the most.

Square also confirmed that FF16 is the game that was played by new players the most so the numbering system is not the problem.

Those Steam numbers clearly show that the game didn't meet expectations because Fans aren't liking where Square is going with the franchise.

It's the game itself and how Square made it that it is at fault not the PS5.

The only games I care Microsoft to port to PS5 is Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. If they release them to PS5 I will be happy.

DLC is fine, but I am more looking forward to the sequel.

@Boucho11 You're welcome, but just you know, the new Golden Axe, will not be a sidescroller but will be playable with a 3D camera.

Streets of Rage Revolution seems to be a sidescroller though.

Deserved and it doesn't surprise me. People want more games like Astro Bot and Sly Cooper.

I hope this increases the possibility of a new Sly game, since he needs to be freed from Egypt.

I wish, we could play our physical PS3 games on PS4/5. My PS3 gets too hot during summer with stops me from playing some of my favourite games during the season.

Astro is the perfect mascot for Sony

Definitely looking forward to this game. Im sure I will have a lot of fun with this game and a lot of people as well.

Microsoft just did the advertising for Sony, since all this games will most likely come to PlayStation, including the first party games

Played the two Astro games and loved both.

The bee having stung the glasses was something I wish to have avoided though.

I will definitely play the third game.

This is great news, but I think it's apparent that Sony needs to make more Asian games to sell more games in Japan and other Asian markets.

Graphics and Story, shouldn't be more important than Gameplay in my opinion. I hope PlayStation Studios understands that the way how a Game plays, should be the focus.

Still waiting for Photo mode though. It's the feature I'm interested the most.

If the showcase does happen I really would love the new Astrobot game to be announced. And a new Sly Cooper.

This one would be the less likelyto be announced but Wild Arms 6 would be dope, even though I don't hold my breath.

@nyr2k2 I agree, I started to loose some enjoyment in the end when I had to run through the open areas.

It would have been better if the game was completely linear in my opinion.

This is great to know, even though I wish Sony would give the same love to Gravity Rush, I understand that Stellar Blade is much more successful.
