Would love merchandise of Alundra, Gravity Rush, Wild Arms, Legend of Dragoon, Arc the Lad, Freedom Wars, Ape Escape Jeane D'Arc, but unfortunately SONY doesn't have confidence in those IPs.
This doesn't seem as bad as Circana makes it seem doesn't seem as different as my childhood when my parents bought me only 2 games a year (once for my birthday and another on Christmas). They should show numbers instead of percentages.
That being said, I still buy games but day 1 purchases are rare, not only because of money, but also because there are still many games that were released long ago that I still have to play. Plus I am one of those 1% of gamers who still replay their favourite single player games, even this year I replayed a couple.
The Olympics committee asking SEGA to come back. Well anyway I'm happy that this partnership continues, I wonder if we're getting more Sonic & Mario in the Olympic Games, maybe not because of that ad.
@ErrantRob The combat is turn based, but also exciting, because movement and the position of your characters is important and you can attack your enemies multiple times depending how close of your enemy you are. Learning curve is difficult but if you understand how the combat works it's fun in my opinion.
Story isn't bad, but I don't think it's well told. If you want the platinum you have to play 2 play throughs, but doing the new game + you can beat the story in 2-3 hours (yeah the game is very grindy). Just keep in mind many story NPC's are weird, maybe it's because in the way the citizens live in the game, weird though that's only the rich who don't act normal.
What made me return to the game, is the combat, which is clearly the highlight of the game.
@ErrantRob For the PS3 version I guess bad marketing and some competitions in the same month RoF was released like Bayonetta, Darksiders and Mass Effect 2.
PS4 version was simply a release which usually don't sell as well as in the debut.
Played the open network test, but not as much as the PS5 exclusive beta but I still enjoyed it, seems like they made the Monster Truck lasting less, which might be a good thing.
Game is fantastic, feels slower than in the beta test though, but online is still chaotic and I enjoy it that way, even if it is difficult getting to first place, but when you do, it feels great.
Only complain I have is how limited the control customizing is. Would love to accelerate with the R2 button.
@Ray_Ray_Regasis I saw some people saying they will skip this game because it's "just the same game as the original only with better graphics". I also wanted to replay MGS3 with modern graphics too and I want Remakes of the MSX MGs as well.
They most likely where talking about other Metal Gear Solid games instead of their other franchises, but I think Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 need a Remake more than any other Metal Gear Solid game, even though MGS1 is basically a Reimagining of MG2.
That being said, I would love a Remake of Yu-Gi-Oh! The sacred cards , wished the Rocket Knight Adventures Re-sparked collection were playable in 16:9 resolution and both Getsu Fuma Den games were on PlayStation and the first one translated into english.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is doing such a bad job with Live-Service, meanwhile Sony Music is doing a fine job with Fate/Grand Order and doing a partnership with Pocketpair.
Metaphor most likely took 6 months to sell another 1 million because fans are expecting an upgraded version of the game, like Shin Megami Tensei Vengeance or Persona 5 Royal. The art style is probably also a factor, which is most likely why Clair Obscur sold more in less months.
@Areus Yeah, I am aware, but we live in different times, SONY's priorities might be different now, especially after Wild Arms Million Memories (I know it's a game and not an anime but still).
But I would love if they get a new anime adaptation and wish SONY haven't given up on them. Gravity Rush is getting a film, so there is hope.

Re: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 'Will Be Loved by Everyone', Says Director
Nice confidence, but I doubt that will happen.

Re: Sonic Goes for Gold with New Multi-Year Marketing Alliance with the Olympic Games
@Jacko11 They should have used Jet instead of Amy.

Re: Preview: It's Mine's Time to Shine in Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties
SEGA doing another Bowser's Fury.
Well can't complain because more Yakuza is always good.
Re: Konami Asks Which Metal Gear Solid Game You Want Remade Next
Please remake the first 2 Metal Gear games.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 599
I am replaying Resonance of Fate (4K/HD) edition and also Monster Hunter Stories.
Re: PS5's Highly Anticipated Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Will Debut New Stages at TGS
I wish Sunfire would be in this game.
Re: Sony's Still Not Doing Anything with Bloodborne, It's Claimed
Sony Generating hype until the end of our lifetime.
Re: Mega Man, NiGHTS to Join the Roster of Sonic Racing CrossWorlds on PS5, PS4
After seeing Pac-Man I was sure Mega-Man would be next. I wish it would have been .EXE but it's obviously Classic who will drive.
Not interested in the others, but if available separately I will buy Pac-Man and Mega Man
I wish Sparkster from the Rocket Knight games would be there as well, but unfortunately he never had a chance.
Nights was a given in my opinion. Most popular non Sonic character made by Sonic Team.
Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (PS5) - PS5's Best Kart Racer Is Robust, Chaotic Fun
Can't wait to play it, have pre-ordered the game long ago.
Re: Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined's PS5 Characters Are Based on Real-Life Models
Seems like they were inspired by Fantasian when developing the game.
Re: One Piece PS5 Makes Massive Improvements to Five Year Old Musou
Would be cool if Bamdai-Namco released the first and second game on modern systems as well.
Re: An Unthinkable Amount of Mega Man Is Coming to PS5, PS4 in New Star Force Collection
"Capcom’s goal of putting every Mega Man game ever made on the PS5 and PS4 is going according to plan."
Every game also means we will also see Wily Wars on PS4/PS5 right?
Re: What PS5 Games Have the Best Graphics?
Astro's Playroom and Astro Bot.
Re: SEGA to Demo Four Mysterious Titles at Tokyo Game Show This Month
A new Skies of Arcadia
A new Story of Thor
A new Pulseman
A new Devil Children
Yeah my mind is in a fantasy world.
Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds' PS5 Beta Is Over, But a Free Playable Demo Is Coming Soon
Played the open network test, but not as much as the PS5 exclusive beta but I still enjoyed it, seems like they made the Monster Truck lasting less, which might be a good thing.
Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta Patch Promised, But No Mention of PS5 Performance Improvements
I haven't played the game yet, but games should be released well optimized on day 1 and on the disc. I will see how the game runs when I play it.
I played Sonic Unleashed on PS3 and got the platinum, so maybe the performance issues will not affect me, but we will see.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Metal Gear Solid Delta?
Game only arrives today in the mail.
Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Beta: All Start Times, How to Play, and What's Included
Game is fantastic, feels slower than in the beta test though, but online is still chaotic and I enjoy it that way, even if it is difficult getting to first place, but when you do, it feels great.
Only complain I have is how limited the control customizing is. Would love to accelerate with the R2 button.
Re: Capcom Shuts Down Fan Theories That Pragmata Is a Secret Mega Man Game
It's actually secretly a Strider Game.
But yeah, I also didn't think it would be a Mega Man game.
Re: Form Your Own Opinion on Lost Soul Aside with Free PS5 Demo
Would be funny if what is shown in the demo would be the best part of the game.
Wouldn't be the first demo to do it.
Re: Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (PS5) - A Gorgeous, Triumphant Return for SEGA's Ninja Series
@LikelySatan Thanks, will do.
Re: 'The Number of Live Service Games Is Not Important': PS5 Boss Gives Rare Insight into Strategy

Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds: All Confirmed Characters and Tracks
Can't wait to play another beta, the last one was fun and then finally the full game.
Re: Bandai Namco's Big TGS Booth Includes Code Vein 2, Digimon, More
Digimon Story Time Stranger and Everybody's Golf is what I'm interested the most.
I wish Baten Kaitos 3 was in the list too.
Re: Capcom's Going All-In on TGS, Games and Showcase Announced
Pragmata, the game that Mega Man fans think is secretly a Mega Man game.
I like the lineup though, Monster Hunter Stories 3 is the game I'm most interested with. I wish a new Breath of Fire was in the list too.
Re: Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (PS5) - A Gorgeous, Triumphant Return for SEGA's Ninja Series
I pre-ordered this game and will play it today.
Played the Demo after pre-ordering and enjoyed it a lot after playing it for 8 hours.
Edit: Not today, since it's not possible. Tomorrow maybe.
Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta's Dismal PS5 Pro Support Could Use a Rethink
I wanted to say that KONAMI is the main developer of Metal Gear Solid Delta, Virtuos is just a support studio. So it's KONAMI that has work to do.

@Areus Ah alright then XD. And yes Portable Ops can also be on the list.
Re: Konami Wants to 'Consider Lots of Other Games' for Remake Treatment if MGS Delta Succeeds
@Areus Oh, I actually meant the MSX games when I said Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 XD.

Re: Highly Rated Square Enix RPG Triangle Strategy Out Now on PS5
Bad timing to Shadow drop this, since Final Fantasy Tactics is right around the corner.
What Square should finally release to the West though is Bahamut Lagoon.

Re: Capcom Will Present 90 Minutes of PS5 Updates at New York Comic-Con in October
Would be cool if we would get a new Mega Man game announced... and Mega Man The Wily Wars released on modern systems.
Also would love a new Breath of Fire.
But unfortunately I'm aware that it is very unlikely.
Re: We're Sold on Digimon Story Time Stranger Thanks to This Rideable Digimon Trailer
Can't wait to play this. Digimon is great.
Re: Massive Atlus Survey Mentions Metaphor Sequel, Yet More Persona Spin-Offs

Also, please no Persona Soulslike.

Re: Hideo Kojima Alone Is Currently Working on PlayStation Exclusive Physint
@Nepp67 "Tf is the name Physint anyways?"
I guess it is a portmanteau of "Physical" and "intelligent", but I am not sure.
Re: Hideo Kojima Alone Is Currently Working on PlayStation Exclusive Physint
So SONY and Kojima Productions announced a game idea from Kojima instead of a game. Definitely a Kojima move.
Re: Sony Likens Its Fledgling Anime Business to the PS1 Era
Would love animes of Astro Bot, Alundra, Gravity Rush, Wild Arms, The Legend of Dragoon, Ape Escape, Arc the Lad and yes even Knack.
But unfortunately only a few of those might have a chance to get an adaptation.
Re: Shinobi: Art of Vengeance Has a Free Playable Demo Available Right Now on PS5, PS4
@LikelySatan Looked up Vernal Edge looks good, might pick it up.
Re: One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Sails Away with Surprise PS4 Patch as New DLC Looms
Great news, hope the PS5 version arrives. I wish Bandai-Namco would release Pirate Warriors 1 and 2 to PS4 and PS5 as well.
Re: A Quote from a Sony Exec Is Causing a Hubbub Among PS5 Fans Again
People forgetting SONY isn't primarily a video game company again.

I miss PlayStation All-Stars Island, had a great time with it.
Re: Shinobi: Art of Vengeance Has a Free Playable Demo Available Right Now on PS5, PS4
@LikelySatan Yeah it's awesome, downloaded it when it came out and already played 6 hours of the demo and will play more.
But thanks for reminding me.
Re: Sony Admits PS5 Live Service Push Is Not Going Smoothly
If only Sony Music could lend Fate/Grand Order to Sony Interactive Entertainment.
Or if SIE could make a deal with Pocketpair.
