@Porco The base PS5 is outselling the Pro and SONY said the Pro is for enthusiasists.
SONY knows that if they want to sell PS6s they will have to make the PS6 cheaper than the PS5 Pro, especially when this gen disappointed a lot of fans. They know most people will not buy a PS6 if it costs 700€-1000€.
@GamingGod When it comes to console, it is. Consoles are supposed to be the cheaper option from PCs, that's where the appeal is. If Consoles become as expensive as PCs more people would choose the latter even if they could easily afford the former.
@Porco No, I'm not suggesting the performance output of the PS6 will be worse than of the PS5 Pro, it obviously will better. What I'm trying to say is the PS5 Pro's price has been inflated to be more Premium, with people with alot of money to be the target audience.
Awesome games, I have pre-ordered them and was automatically downloaded today on my PS5.
Good review.
But there are still more Mega Man games to be released on modern platforms, like the Legends games, Misadventures of Tronne Bonne, the Platformer games of MegaMan.EXE or even the Wily Wars.
Funny that he said that, because the last mainline Final Fantasy is rated 18 and M and he was involved in that game.
Maybe stopping making every new Final Fantasy playing different from the past one and making it how it used to be might help.
I agree with him though that the games need to be released sooner.
"Final Fantasy needs its Resident Evil 7: Biohazard moment – an instalment that changes the trajectory of the franchise, and puts it on a more modern path."
Resident Evil 7 is actually a return to the series roots of being a horror survivor game instead an action game and that's why it sold well.
I said before that Square want people to stop see Final Fantasy synonyms to PlayStation and therefore will do less partnerships with Sony now, but people here were in denial (which I get why, this is a PlayStation centric website) and saying what I said is BS, but we are seeing Square less and less giving the PlayStation 5 importance and I believe Square will continue to do so.
But still even if SIE was American in the past, they are more Japanese now with Nishino who definitely cares about Japan, unlike Jim Ryan and Hermen Hulst.
And Japan Studio used to be called Sony Computer Entertainment before being renamed to the Japan Studio in 2006 which means anything they made Sony did as well.
The same I would say with Team Asobi as well since they are a successor of JS.
There are so many games from SONY themselves that they could release in the Premium Tier. Really disappointing that many of those are still not available.
Good that I only buy games digitally if they are on sale, which means they have to offer me games with a lower price if they want to convince me to buy them.
The moment PC players complained about being forced to login to PSN was the moment SONY realised they will not be able to bring PC players to PlayStation and have given up releasing their single player games on PC.
I do think we will see more AA first party games from SONY again to cover the cost of their AA games though and more of their Japanese games like Gravity Rush and Freedom Wars and who knows new Alundra abnd Rogue Galaxy games as well.
Definitely will play Pragmata and Monster Hunter Stories 3 will be a must buy and masterpiece.
I can't wait for Mega Man Dual Override I never understood the Mega Man IP is dead arguments but I'm glad we get to play another new game in the series.
PlayStation fans weren't complaining about SONY making Remakes, they were complaining that the games that were remade and remastered were too recent for them getting a visual update.
No one would have minded an Alundra or THE Legend of Dragoon Remake, or even a Heavenly Sword Remake.
I have bought so many Remakes and Remasters made by them even though I own the originals, Gravity Rush, God Of War Collections, Shadow of the Colossus, Demon's Souls are all well made. Japan Studio's closure hit me harder though, since they made my favourite games.
It's incredible how Japan Studios and Bluepoint are the one who worked the closest to each and on the same games and got the axe and the biggest criticism for being closed.
@JoeNobody You don't know if Bluepoint doesn't have any creativity without them making an original game first.
And Japan Studio was Sony. They used to be called Sony Computer Entertainment before being renamed to Japan Studio in 2006.
Doesn't mean a Bloodborne Remake wouldn't happen. I never believed if a Remake would be made it be made by them but would be made from From software themselves.
They probably don't want to announce the PlayStation version because they want players to buy the game now, but I'm sure the game will come to PlayStation in the future.
It's sad to se a Sony subsidiary not supporting the PlayStation from the beginning though.

@Nakatomi_Uk Skies of Arcadia needs faster combat and no random encounters near discoveries, then it would be Golden.
Re: PS6 Could Be Cheaper Than Expected, Despite $1,000 Concerns
@Member_the_game Loading times are a bigger seller for me when ut comes to PS5 but yeah exclusives are important too and even more for the PS6.
Re: PS6 Could Be Cheaper Than Expected, Despite $1,000 Concerns
@Northern_munkey Thing is, the casual player doesn't want to invest that much for a console.

@Northern_munkey Most People would never pay the price of the PS5 Pro even launch price, the PS5 Pro is a niche system.

@Member_the_game I get that, but for me shorter loading times make a difference for me for my enjoyment.

Standard PlayStation's = Average costumers
PlayStation Pro's = People with a lot of income.

@Member_the_game The PS5 has faster loading times.

Re: PS6 Could Be Cheaper Than Expected, Despite $1,000 Concerns
I will not buy a PS6 if it's more than 600€ even 500€ is too much.
That said, the PS5 Pro being as expensive as it is now is no indication that the PS6 can be over 1000€.
The reason why the Pro is this expensive is because it's a Premium device that is targeting the rich.
The standard PS6 will not be as expensive or more expensive than the PS5 Pro, simply because it's not a Pro.
Re: Looks Like SEGA Is Reheating PS5, PS4 Fan Favourite Sonic Frontiers in Definitive Edition
@Nakatomi_Uk And after the news thst SEGA renwed the trademark is really disappointing.

@Nakatomi_Uk SEGA didn't even acknowledge Skies of Arcadia's 25th anniversary.

@LikelySatan I didn't know that.

Expect the original getting delisted and Sonic fans stopping buying Sonic games at launch.

They started in Japan after all.

Final Fantasy XIII is my favourite modern Final Fantasy so a release on PlayStation 4 and 5 would be welcome.
Would definitely get the Platinum again even though the "get all weapons and accessories" trophy is too much of a grind.
I know this is off-topic Pushsquare but, no mention about Dimps message about Freedom Wars's Remastered first anniversary on Twitter?
