@nathanuc1988 I have an upgraded drive.... my ps3 worked fine last night.... Any reports of it bricking randomly or is it right after the update? If its right after the update and I survived I'm hoping I should be fine Lol

Well let's hope my slim doesn't brick I was running fine last night with the update. So would it be instantly noticeable? Because I know I had to update last night to use YouTube because of an update..... But my system still worked, or can it brick at a later time.

I suckered into the season pass............so yes, ill check them out.....although me and my cousin have been hardcore playing borderlands ever since the Destiny E3 demo...........omg I am so pumped for Destiny

@DeHorror1975 yes.....but hes engrossed into his whole points crap.........to be honest to me a platinum trophy is hell of a lot more rewarding than saying you got 1000/1000 points, besides that platinum trophy doesn't go away, however on xbox that score can increase and than you are not done with the game. I used to love watching people max out a score in a game only for them to add DLC and make the game incomplete for them again lol.

@MadchesterManc yes, If I bought an Xbox One I would abuse the living hell out of it just like we abused the xbox live gold......aka I only payed $25 a year for xbox gold through the a family center loop hole. But I would add my 10 closest buddies to that family list and just everyone would have to buy only one game......seriously its going to get reduced MAJORLY because that was the whole deal with Sony's. It's far easier to abuse digital content when given a chance then physical. Remember you only have to buy digital once than 5 people could have used it on the PS3 (which is now reduced down to 2). For Xbox having DRM and thinking 10 buddies are not going to abuse DLC and Possibly games.....get real. I have a feeling Microsofts going to be announcing increase in digital sales but overall sales are just going to be LOW as hell because of the family share crap. Than they are going to drop the amount of systems to 2 or 3...........OR it can only be used on that specific console.

This just blows my mind.....everyone thought the social features would cost money..........nope only thing that you pay for extra on the PS4 is multiplayer......and instant games collection......and cloud saves......and oh forget it just go pick up plus if you haven't already XCOM, LBPKR, and Uncharted 3 are already past the budget of the $50 for plus for a whole year.....its worth it dang it lol.

Not to mention Saints Row 3 and God's Eater Burst.....2 awesome games adding even more to the instant games awesomeness.

FFXV did look very sexy and it was the first real gameplay trailer that we had really seen, and damn it looks fun as hell.....hopefully its not too linear

The only reason pre-orders are as close as they are.....is because people are pre-ordering like 4 X1's at the same time they pre-order PS4's in order to hit the Ebay market high.....which i hope backfires on them and they can't get rid of them.

No matter how much i try to convince my buddy to shun away from Xbox I can't because hes an achievement whore, he will play utterly terrible games because its "easy achievements"......seriously. When I ask him why hes sticking with microsoft next generation he cannot give me a clear excuse and nobody I ask that question to can. I swear they are all mindless zombies that just buy anything with the microsoft label on it. I went through 4 Xbox 360's in a term of 6 years. Due to Network card metling, DVD drive failing, Fans killing out and of course RRoD. I have 2 PS3's. One is built for backing up my older games....aka its jailbroken, and then I have my PS3 that I use everyday. I have never had to buy a new playstation due to hardware failure.

must be a day one patch.....my copy which is from last week is still working fine and im about 6 hours in auto save no issues.

EDIT: btw i recently played yesterday so if there was a patch today that most likely is the culprit.

I just hope we are not forced to PvP, I would rather stumble upon other players and work together.....or be given the option to only do co-op and not being forced to fight others.

the first gears of war was the only good gears multiplayer wise...........after that they ruined the experience by trying to make it too tactical.

I don't see the xbox one getting many JRPG's........PS4 for me than, this is a joke ..........I see no incentive to getting the X1 and Hopefully I can find a PS4 for my little brother this holiday season while I continue to tell every parent I see on black friday all the problems with the X1 lol.........

I bought the full game bundle through gamestop so I'm not worried about it, however its nice to see the concerns my buddy has can be wiped away with all the core features. I think if he liked it enough he would just buy the disc.

Maybe we will see more stuff like this in the future from sony. instead of 1 hour game trials they will give us a permanent prologue type of the game. So killzone gives you multiplayer till a certain level and you can keep playing its just that you can't unlock anything after a certain point, or infamous second son gives you the whole world but only the first 10% of the story where the rest of it can be downloaded in mission packs that end up costing you more than the game total (keeps the incentive to buy it new, but those who don't wish to dish out $60 at once can overtime pay off the game in a sort of way).

@Snorky its not a launch title AFAIK....therefor I am not to worried about it.....but don't worry me, my buddy and my 2 cousins are eagerly waiting to drive around being a badass crew.

@mibtar you might want to re-read the EULA on discs......its very warped and twisted to go against the consumer. In fact they can put as much limitations as they want on the product as to the fact that you possibly won't be able to play it after this generation phases out and the servers go down. We as the consumer got screwed when he hit the accept button on the terms and agreements.

I lived mirrors edge by far the most original and vibrant game I have played

final fantasy and last guardian baby............im already excited purely for the PS4 and Happy with what I have seen already.....very proud of Sony so far.......just need clarification on DRM and game sharing...........than show me the last guardian and final fantasy xv for spring release next year and PS4 will get a standing ovation.

the full version of uncharted 3 though is 37GB so be happy that with what they have given us lol, hopefully they kept the singleplayer and multiplayer download seperate......that games unrealistically huge.

xcom, never tried it....heard nothing but greatness from the rts style game.

the list just gets bigger and bigger.........best thing about indie titles....they are amazing pieces of work for nearly a fraction of a generic shooter.

honestly you cannot beat the library they are building for probably only $14.99 a game.....PS4 is gonna be amazing!

Warframe would be a huge sell for kids, i mean its a very fast paced version of mass effect......very fun and efficient. They will just have to learn crafting and where to get mats....not that hard just takes a few runs to get everything, but damn its well worth getting uber gear....which btw you cant buy from there store. The store atm is just powerful weapons for when starting out, but to get actual good gear you still need to farm and grind a few levels and find some blueprints.

But parents can at least get a good premium model playstation and not have to instantly worry about dishing out a ton of money if you can download a good selection of free to play games. Has microsoft even announced any good F2P games if anything at all for the cable box?

troy baker did an oustanding job in bioshock and i was thrilled to see him the main voice behind the last of us.........I truly say this is probably game of the year. Although my buddy swears up and down bioshock........i told him, "sorry dude just because it's bioshock, doesn't make it GOTY."

@get2sammyb I have a good capture card that does 1080p was wondering once I get my copy maybe upload some fight scenes with commentary for those who are iffy or on the edge on some of the game systems?

Because to be honest I am really enjoying the game despite some generic platforming that they throw at you.

@Reverend_Skeeve yes, i see your point as well......however wouldn't that cause bandwidth usage to spike? I mean its constant data stream if it did that and could cause people to go over monthly caps.....i mean I do have really good internet 55/15 but however my ISP does limit monthly usage.....even though its really high and I will probably never hit it unless 5 games the size of uncharted 3 comes out (37GB download).

But yes everything needs to come to rest at E3, no new questions....just closure.

Really, you guys have laptops with webcams always on, cell phones and tablets and are worried about a camera that you could just possibly unplug? If you are worried about privacy don't buy an electronic device period because no matter what, you are monitored and observed for everything. Hell even pandora does it, go to a few shopping websites and then listen to pandora.....guess what ads will be displayed? the website you just visited because everything is stored in your browser.

got it on my gamefly queue hoping it gets shipped today which if it doesn't ill probably just buy it, although you mentioned a lengthy campaign.........how long is it, and is there anything on the side to do?

@Epic yes, it was a very very bland shooter. I also didn't like how dumb the AI was, seriously the cover mechanic was useless because the enemy would just full on bum rush you and get 6 inches from you within seconds of a confrontation.

my download speed the other night tested on the computer was grabbing games at about 6MB/s not 6Mb/s............so I was able to download a 12GB game in about 20 minutes or so........however the PSN i swear is fricken capped at 2MB/s no matter how fast my internet is......maybe the network cards are just that old.....I mean there probably 10/100 Ethernet and not gigabit....also the cards are very dated for network use.

I can see the xbox one however selling more due to licensing and the hdmi input with the ability to decode hdcp.

I see the PS4 selling at $399 Base and $499 premium with the X1 selling at $429 Base and a Subscription model at $249 or $299.

I'm sorry to say but I ran Crysis 3 the other night on my PC rig at ultra....completely maxed and was dissapointed because of how bland some of the textures actually are. All this talk about how crysis 3 is so amazing and yet I was more disappointed then ever by it. TBH the character modeling and structure textures in killzone look beyond what the Crytek engine is doing right now, just because when i touch every blade of grass it moves does not mean its pretty to look at.

Yes, my buddy is an xbox fan and no matter what I tell him hes still buying the new xbox and it seems gamestop constantly pushes microsofts system. It pisses me off how bias these companies are towards a game device. Seriously general convo at gamestop rolls something like this

Me: Yes, I would like to pick up my copy of Bioshock: Infinite
Gstop: For the 360 correct (as hes already reaching for a copy)
Me:No, I pre-ordered the PS3 Version
Gstop: Really? wow, um ok.
Me: Yes, Don't care to pay for the same service that Sony gives me for free
Gstop: Well the servers for multiplayer are better on the 360
Me: They are the same P2P servers you pay for absolutely nothing relevant to the gaming experience.
Gstop: That's not true, i always have issues playing on the PS3....more lag, latency

you get my drift at how little these reps actually know about the console and are told bullpoop to sell to their customers.

I am sick of them pushing Microsofts console and downing Sony's. Everytime I get into an argument with a 360 fanboy (btw I had a 360.....in fact went through 3 of them) how I have to tell them that they pay for the EXACT game experience we do. Sure entertainment wise microsoft blows more money for TV, TV, TV, Sports...............but as a gamer I don't care.

There are no special dedicated servers for xbox gold members........why pay for it when, the exact same experience is free.
