Crap I voted for october......i meant november, I see 11/12/13 the launch date however watch dogs is a confirmed launch title, would they really launch it with the console a week before the other consoles?

I'm hoping for an rpg next month I already went through the racing fix this month.

Maybe Kingdoms of Amalar, Assassins Creed 3, BladeStorm and for the Vita title.....Guacamelee, Lego LOTR, or Persona 4 Golden.....although most people already own PS:4 but it would move sales I think people knowing they can get one of the greatest RPG's of all time $30 for free when buying a Vita.

@get2sammyb you knew I was waiting for the review........looks good can't wait to pick up my copy. Was playing it on a cough PS3 earlier in the weekend and noticed that you have a group of officers that follow your guy around........and you get a weird combo when an ally officer nears you pulls off a musou attack as well.......because there were just some moments like.......um I didn't activate this combo and kept trying to repeat it but noticed that it was an ally officer doing something causing my guy Sun Ce to do this uber powerful combo that is not offered by yourself alone. It finally gives the incentive to actually work with the AI and I'm not going to lie it seemed to be a lot better this time around, but the infinite spawning is back like in DW2 where you sometimes can't kill a gate captain (as theres not one there) and they keep coming out of a side of the map.

@JaxonH there are active events in the city to do. In order to clear presence of the enemies in an area you had to do missions to clear them out and then you could safely trot through them without enemy fire. Plus users could create missions in the 2nd infamous, there were some really cool downloadable missions and the mission editor was pretty popular.

I have a 1TB toshiba drive atm but it needs an external source of power.........the reason why i see the $80 price justifiable is because its usb 3.0 with usb powering meaning it truly is a portable dream......

it's true, and honestly I wouldn't have doubted if Sony actually had 2 main concepts of console in mind so they wouldn't have to back pedal anything. One with DRM and another without one.

Also they truly are coming in at the exact same time as the X1.............with the PS3 now having outsold the xbox 360 finally at the end of the cycle it truly does put pressure on Microsoft this time. Microsoft doesn't get the nice year gap between the 2 console releases.

I think the PS3 now has 300k-400k more consoles sold overall than the X360......if its truly going the way I see it, The PS4 should by the end of this generation (with the worlds best first party studios in my opinion ever assembled) be like what the PS2 was to the Xbox..........

Razer lost its touch years ago, now they just make a $2800 laptop that really should only cost $1300, and of course an insanely priced tabelet at like $1200 which again you can buy a beast of a laptop and one hell of a desktop at that price point. Razer is no longer "by Gamers, For Gamers" there product quality has gone to crap and they to me are no longer relevant, the only thing I need to find a replacement for is my mouse but none have the feeling of my original deathadder.

awkward sounds like they made an easy profit with these sales yet square enix posted losses for hitman (6 million) and tomb raider (3 million) looks like Squeenix has some explaining to do because those games had to have made profits as well

got mine pre-ordered online through gamestop within 2 hours after the conference and got my little brothers pre-ordered in store at gamestop which I will be there probably in line 2 days just in case of shortage.

@rjejr price plummits were due to terrible 3rd party manufacturing.....hell the thing wasn't even made or designed by sony but instead a 3rd party. Mine died on turning it on after the 3rd time in 2 months............so pathetic, I have a 4 year extended warranty on the thing, and i dont even want to send it in due to having the same issues.

EDIT: nvm that 2nd disc is required to install...............WAIT, i thought microsoft fought to make mandatory installs not eligible on the 360........wow so that means GTAV is actually the first 360 game ever to make installing a mandatory just to play the game period.....damn

@TheRealBatman I don't think its gamestop thats pushing X1....its the damn employees and everyone one of there co-workers and family members that have a 360 in every possible living space in there house.

@get2sammyb not the X1 thats being made with multiple companies.....including lite-on which i deal with daily on their products.....and they are garbage. But the X1 is made by Pegatron Technology with components from a ton of companies. Foxconn makes all apple products i think.

correct but remember the intiial launch units available was rumored to be 16 million? Maybe they really are going to make Japan wait for the console and ship 8 million in the USA and 8million in Europe..........as of right now we know they have not hit at least past 4 million pre-orders.

@jgrangervikings Sony doesn't get any money from blu-ray they don't own it......the BDA chooses who gets rights to the blu-ray media.....sony is but a fraction in say power of who gets to use blu-ray.

@Gamer83 not all of them....i raised my little brother correctly....he grew up on halo as he got older though he shunned it away along with gears of war....its amazing. I actually asked him if he was going to get halo 4 and the new gears...which was a prequel, he responded with "no I really don't like Halo and Gears of War is just the same thing". My Jaw dropped when he responded that way as a 12 year old. I tapped him on the shoulder and told him....I love you lol.

Test Drive unlimited was the first game ever to blur the lines between singleplayer and multiplayer...........and I have yet to find a game that satisfies me like the first TDU....which sadly was only for the 360....but I have so many good memories of just driving around meeting other friends...before I quit using my 360 almost 90% of my friends list was from that game alone. You would leave a singleplayer race and automatically be connected to up to 7 other players roaming Hawaii as well. The second TDU failed on so many levels in terms of playability and car selection.

So I say merging the lines of connectivity will be the biggest thing, removing lobby screens all together will greatly improve everyones experience.

huh, it looked way better at the sony conference and last year.........wow fricken current generation is really gonna hold back some games that could truly have blown us away in the wow factor. Infamous Second son though atm is by far a benchmark for the next gen....that gameplay video omg so clear and crystal for as big of a world its going to have.

@KALofKRYPTON I use CD key sites to get my games on steam.....$36.99 for a new release as composed to $59.99........if a game is going to last me a long time aka battlefield i will pay full price but games like Remember Me where i was able to beat it in a matter of 6 hours.........yes no thanks.

@Wesker its launch day console has been ahead of the PS4 for awhile......but there are 8 bundles in that top 20 list with only X1 launch...........it means that even the launch day supply for amazon hasn't ran out yet while PS4 has already been split into 2 categories and PS4 has 8 bundles selling insanely well also.

Yes, that $100 was an extra game and a controller for my PS4.......X1 I would be stuck with the base system.....its a big difference in spending.

I don't know that trailer of Deep Down was way different to me in terms of style then dragons dogma..........but man those GFX for a console were and sick and proven to be running real time because there was clipping of the dragon's tail during the part where he knocked down a pillar.

That's the thing, Sony has had this year planned as launch obviously for a long time, since there first conference they said 2013 was the launch year.....it was just a matter of where. Now Microsoft is going to be really left behind if they don't release the console by the end of this year, wasn't the initial reports for the console for Q1 2014? I remember reading that somewhere that the X1 was initially slated for a spring release. Also the developers not running on actual dev-kits proves that as well that the developers have not had enough time with the actual system itself and are rushing to meet the launch day window.

Because as of right now Sony actually leads in PS3 vs 360 sales....and it launched a year later......if Microsoft does not release around the same time as the PS4......it will be blown away this generation. Microsoft had a good year head start and a huge price difference....this time around with Sony's first party support being the best in the industry by far having almost all there games an average rating of 9/10 compared to how bad Microsofts first party studios are, the massive price difference.....I mean $399 for that console in terms of just specs is a fricken steal....I don't think I could even get 8GB of GDDR5 with a mobo and processor(if they made them) for $400, I just don't see Microsoft being a leader at all this generation.

@Sanquine PS2 was the greatest system of all time for RPG fans, that was when shooters were boring because of garbage online connections....I am sad that the amount of RPG's now is just so miniscule compared to the PS2.....

@Sanquine Yes, I don't want them to completely fail otherwise next gen sony can do whatever they want in terms of competition because everyone knows that you own a Nintendo Console and then one of the two other major ones......at least that's how I've always been lol. But I want to see it for a significant period go down at least 48 hours plus to show Microsoft the mistake they made, and the consumers who don't see what an idiotic thing they have done.

I love how the tracks are not decided for winning with a club based purely on lap times..........it actually looks really fun. All the videos though are of people who look like they never play driving games so I can't really judge the handling concepts although from a quick glance it looks more forgiving which is great. Also those corning face off's lol thats fricken cool as hell. Not going to lie seeing all this makes me pumped. I can tell even through the camera that the game is going to be beautiful.
