@Gemuarto exactly its the ultimate on demands streaming device, apple just got beat to the punch, because i would rather have access to sony's library of 1200 games (thats just PS1, PSP and mobile i think) than a million garbage apple apps.

I will so buy one of these for my house, its way to good to pass up just even as a streaming only device, the fact that it does games as well is just an insane plus.

@hamispink dualshock 4 is already to be confirmed for a future patch.....they already knew the benefits of the DS4 controller...........I think sony has been planning this since the beginning, and now that touchpad doesnt look so gimmicky.

@Epic it has support for DS4 with an update thats been confirmed, so any games using the front touch pad only or games where the rear can be disabled will all be playable on the PSVTV.

Also this device is a huge apple TV competitor, because Netflix, Hulu, youtube and all video streaming apps that will be coming to this will be usable in full 1080p streaming. It is a perfect little device that I want as it will also play all PS1 and PS2 games right out(on the digital market)....meaning its a great little device for that extra TV in the house you want a novelty item to go with. It's cheap, has great power for the price, and works will play any vita game that has the ability to ignore back touch controls.....because its also DualShock 4 compatible.

been playing klngdom hearts HD the last week.............uh its soooooo goooooddd. And they did an amazing job with the textures to HD, so smooth and beautiful looking. Although the gummi ship looks really flat and funny because it was already just a bunch of shapes smashed together.

I think those sharks are going to have a hard time selling a PS4......as Sony started full production in June. Microsoft today just finally sealed its first boxes of xbox one consoles.....meaning they are just assembling the darn things today. That's only 2 months of production time to get enough units to pre-orders as well as enough to fill black friday only a week later. Microsoft has some serious issues and those scalpers will being make the big dollar one the Microsoft brand this time.....not the other way around. PS4 will be in 33 territories by the end of november with xbox only in a mere 13 or so.,,,,,,,,,the production numbers obviously relate to the drop in the amount of territories microsoft is going to have units in.

I actually liked this game...........then again I got it for free......so that does change the thought process a bit for me. But compared to the likes of splinter cell that came out.....yes this game doesn't come close. Well it all doesn't matter anyways because tonight I'm going to start playing the kingdom hearts HD remix.............so everything is null from here on out till GTA V.

Destiny is going to be good I think no matter what, Bungie has way to strong of a record for having solid shooters. There is a reason why the original Halo Trilogy will always be the best 3 and everything after that has been just kind of meh. It seemed on Reach that they were forced to try something like call of duty because they were stuck on Halo. I really believed Bungie didn't want Halo to go past 3. Also evidenced by the fact all the map packs in Reach were made by 343 and Certain Affinity.

This gives Bungie to make the next biggest thing since the first Halo and I have 100% faith that they will deliver an unbelievable experience.

@get2sammyb I knew you would feel the same about it as I did playing it over the weekend......such a tragedy, could have been so much better.

Maybe when everything goes to html5 next year I'll have no problems at all. Man i can't wait because flash is such garbage.

meh, been using Spotify more because its easily more accessible. I also just plug my phone into my mp3 port on my astro headset and I can listen to anything I want now. Also I don't like that sony hasn't made an official windows program for music unlimited because it doesn't even work here at work.....which is a huge reason why I use Spotify.

@get2sammyb I think the neon powers will allow him to blend in with light, I think its going to be a stealth power.

I've been saying it all along, giving us a huge blockbuster game every 3-4 months is better than making us wait a full year just to even touch something. Also it allows products to gain notice and fan base as well. What do you think would happen if Infamous did launch at console launch.....I'm pretty sure those only buying one game wouldn't get Killzone. That's why I also believe the Order will launch in April giving Infamous a good 2 months to get a foothold on the market as the next really huge generation game. Also Infamous and the Order look to be all alone for blockbusters besides Ubisofts the crew.....so its nothing but 100% exposure. Sony knows what they are doing with this console....it really feels like the good old days of gaming where there is just so much that is going to come from this generation.

@Superconsole you can't but i can XD......I'm sadly enjoying madden 25 more than killer is dead, all i can say if you were expecting story along the likes of killer7.....don't expect much.

@get2sammyb playing killer is dead and not going to lie.....I am very disappointed in the game so far.......much different then what I was feeling from the trailers.

To me trickling games is better than open the flood games.....I mean xbox does have a bigger launch lineup however I see barely anything planned thats good within launch window outside possibly Titanfall.....thats it. Meaning while we are always expecting something within a couple months, xbox fans will have to wait full year cycles and constantly rely on 3rd party releases to tide them over.

I mean this year we had god of war ascension in the spring.....the last of us in the summer, and Beyond is going to be the fall with GT6 in the winter.....Sony's scheduling for games is astounding and the truly know how to always keep the gamer on edge when it comes to new games coming out within 3 months of each other.

I expect the same next year for PS4.

Second son in February, with The Order around may or june and then the fall and winter flooded again......its the perfect strategy for games.

@Lelouch I have faith in them, they did help develop tron evolution which to me was a really underrated game.....sssooo much fun.

They also developed one of the best PSP titles thats on PS plus right now Darkstalkers Resurrection

So I'm not to worried they already have portable development experience.

This might have been a 3rd party and 1st party collaboration. I think Evo needed more time for driveclub and 3 weeks is a huge period of time for developing a game, plus watch dogs being day 1 would also have had to pull launch 3 weeks earlier. With microsoft saying watch dogs is also releasing day one.....I have a feeling that the xbox one is going to release in america the following Tuesday on Watch Dogs midnight while Sony payed a little extra(they do have an insane partnership with Ubisoft) to allow PS4 users to allow it on day one launch. So instead of disappointing people microsoft decides to launch it where every single blockbuster that exists is available for their console instead of having them choose between the current gen and the new one.

watch dogs from what I'm reading is releasing before the 19th and is actually coming out day one on PS4 that friday.

Can you believe it all happened in under 20 years.......thats just insane, I really do like consoles on a 5 year plan though.....because there is just way to much advancement to have a console last 10 years.

I'd rather spend $400 every 5 years instead of $250 every year on a new GFX card.

so basically the 6th year is when they launch a new console. Basically how its been to this point.

94 was the PSX

2000 was the PS2

2006 was the PS3

however 2013 is the PS4.....thats an extra year added.....and to be honest these recent consoles did feel dated about 2 years ago...minus the last of us.

What if they release the first week of october just by chance......omg that would be insane, Either way i do smell october launch.

huh i never knew that Viacom actually owned GTTV.....btw which also streams EVERYTHING from E3......so that would be awesome for next year to have GTTV on our PS4.

lol Sony has a deal with ubisoft......they are so early in development as its not due out till next year, I wouldn't be surprised to see controls for touchpad for an extra group mission or two for the PS4.

max payne 3 was a very solid and underrated shooter, was worth a buy to me.....but was an amazing rent. Happy to the shooting mechanic is carrying over.

@LDXD to me its how ugly that screen is.....it really is a very bland screen.....playing nba2k13 on it was disgusting.

The Wiiu screen had so much potential......but it can't even display beyond 480p on the gamepad giving games that look gross when using the gamepad only function.

So you take less resolution than the vita and blow it up even more.....yes it doesn't look pretty.

It's the reason why I have faith in the remote play feature on the Vita.

To me the ps3 felt like an experiment until later I'm the consoles life, while the ps4 feels like the true successor to the ps2. I mean we are back to being in simplified developing territory again.

Memory card prices are hurting the sales not the system itself. At $250 its easily arguable as the best bang for dollar in terms of power and actual triple a library for games.

Lets just say i can put a 1TB drive in my ps3 and still run out off room and that's not because of playstation plus. Maybe if its cheaper It means as well they are not using the more expensive laptop hard drives.....which would be awesome because than i can put in a 3TB drive for like $150 lol

Barlog was the lead animator for God of War, and was game director of God of War II, for which he won a BAFTA for his writing work on the game for SCE Santa Monica Studio. He also served as game director of God of War III for the first eight months of its development. Barlog left SCEA in November 2007 for unknown reasons. It was rumored he was working on a new project, but he did not announce where he went after Sony.

So he actually did quite a bit of work for God of War 3 as well, which I did not know.

Yes.....not really liking how ellie would have been pushed out of that story with Tess. To me I had more emotional attachment to Tess and Ellie because of the story arc they did. I like the ending now and glad it was chosen overall.

Sounds like stores are going to have the biggest stock available for a console in the history of gaming......didn't ps3 only have like 6 ps3's at most per store......this sounds almost like they are aiming for hundreds lol
