@nessisonett Trans activists don't "annoy" me at all. I just think they have a negative impact on the acceptance of the trans community by the majority of "normal" people. They represent only the fringiest part so "normal" people think all trans people act and think like them.

I think one Blaire White do way more good than dozen of these activists.

@nessisonett That ultra high level of testosterone is produced by internal testes... which is an extremely blatant and unfair advantage over biological women athletes. Caster Semenya should competes whith the men or the sports federations could create a third "everything goes" category for people like Caster. It is a question of fair play nothing to do with gender politics.

Re: Horizon Forbidden West Is Coming to Both PS5 and PS4

I'm not really seeing the problem here. Modern consoles are very similar to pcs.

By that I mean you are able to have higher frame rates and resolution on a recent computer but you can still play the same game with less graphical wizardry on a 5 years old machine. PS5/PS4 games will be like that.

@AFCC It was the same thing with PS3 when PS4 was brand new and it didn't stop PS4 from being a massive success. Most often then not, I ended buying both versions eventually, because the 60 fps 4k upgrades were too tempting.

Sony love for us to double dip or triple dip on buying their games. They are not going to stop.

@Slayn_Fallsmyer Yes gamers are silly sometimes but Nintendo fanboys in particular are the worst on that front. The typical fan of the house of Mario thinks that Nintendo invented everything when actually they are the Apple of the video games industry. They refine or just better brands something that was already existing to the point uninformed people thinks they owns/creates it. The rise of YT just maked it worse, especially in North America. I like Nintendo, but this entitlement about the supposed originality of BOTW needs to stop. If we are being honest here, BOTW sprinkled a bit of Zelda lore to a lot of old video games concepts. Not exactly a paragon of originality and it's totally fine because a lot of good games are derivative.

Re: Mini Review: Nexomon: Extinction - With an Update or Two, This Could Be a Solid Pokémon Clone

I just got the plat for this game. I really like it and I don't get the criticism geared towards the game. Anybody on the fence that like Pokemon but wish for a more challenging game with a good story (you know, an actual rpg) should definitively buy this.

There are already 2 updates patches released. The developper listened to the complaints. You now have items that act like the EXP ALL in Pokemon. You have healing crystal lying around the wild that respawn. You have a toned-down difficulty (or so I heard, I was already almost done with the story when the change was made). You have higher encounter rates for the legendaries. You now have a run button. You have way less slowdown and no more crashes (I'm playing on PS4 Slim).

Anyways, here are the most common complains and why I think it's bogus:

The dynamic difficulty (level scaling) supposedly makes the game too challenging. Actually, it makes the grinding easier. Higher levels get you more EXP from battles. You also get a lot of permanent items later on that upgrade the amount of EXP you get. Also, it means wild Nexomon you capture will already be at a competitive level.

The money is scarce. Yes, it is, but nothing costs that much. You should always use free healing instead of items if you are not deep inside a cave on a quest. You have plenty of tamers to rebattle for money and you get permanent items to boost your gold earned from battles and items to make the stores stocks cost less.
