Resident Evil Village has just debuted its second trailer as part of the PS5 showcase.
As you'd expect, it's looking very creepy, with a witchcraft vibe running through the whole thing. Interestingly, this new trailer adopts a whole new style when it focuses on a folk tale, going all Tim Burton in between in-engine footage. It's all looking pretty great, and we love the oppressive atmosphere of the village itself.

The thing I'm not liking about Resident Evil VIII is that is first-person view and a sequel to VII because I am a huge fan of classic Resident Evil. I'll get it as I got the Gold Edition of VII but...
that castle at the end looks epic- and scary.
I feel like it will be a divisive title. Most diehard fans of RE seems to don't like the emphasis on werewolves.

@BlueOcean Same reason why I haven't played Resident Evil 7 yet...despite owning the Gold Edition.
I'll get around to it one of these days, trying to expand my gameplay tastes.
@Jayofmaya Yeah I was thinking the same thing. And that âwindow shoppingâ line at the end of the video seems like a direct reference to the shopkeeper in RE4. Gettinâ our nostalgia tingling
