I hope the dialog has no "uh", "hm" or other grunt sound played every 10 second, that would be a huge improvement.
Also a story that is expertly told and complete when the game is released (and not an updated game a year later to fill in all the holes but resulting in more holes) would be a win.
I expect non will be happening...

As with most multi protagonist games the gameplay suffers as multiple playstyles and moves have to be combined where 1 protagonist is much more focused. I have zero expectations but I hope it's good.

If this isn't a Souls like game I'm interested, otherwise I couldn't care less.

You wonder why Sony was going for cross platform releases when most of them are sold on PS5.

The reason this is made is simple, it's for the pc version. The tv show gets released and a new version matching tlou2 technically needs to be released. Because the current PS5 and pc are technically really close it was simple to produce a PS5 version. It's easy money you would say (and it is) but if they wouldn't have done it everyone would ***** on ND for making the pc version more beautiful.
So whatever ND would do, people would find a way to whine.
Will I buy it for 70 euro, hell no, I played the game many times on PS3 and PS4 but if I would be new to the platform or it will release on Plus Extra I would be happy to play it again for sure.

I like their games but they never surpassed Until Dawn imho.

So the PS4 version was the cash grab and this one isn't. On the other hand this isn't a completely new game so why does it still cost as much as a new game...

So they had to hire ReedPop to sell them on an USA version of Gamescon. Money waisted well.

The inconsistency from Sony is baffling. Even for their own titles they do this. Take Plus Extra, it's got Miles Morales for PS4 and PS5 but the original Spider-man only is in the PS4 version. It's just very disappointing.

In the first game I struggled with the clunky controls and eventually gave up. I hope controlling the "action" is wildly improved as the game looks nice.

It's just money. Stop politics or be honest and look at the multiple backwards laws that are forced on the US people regarding trans rights, abortus and tons of other minorities before you point at another country that has those same laws.

In The Netherlands I also see a rise in PS5 consoles. Sure they are gone quick but they at least are sort of available after the drought.

I don't care for timed exclusive dlc and this particular kind of dlc (stuff to make the game a bit easier) is just plain stupid and condescending to gamers.
I'm looking forward to the game but always buy these games on sale because of this (PS5 gamer) as I don't want to make them think all gamers appreciate this.

Sure, you always want more from these events than they can offer but what was there was awesome. Remember they also need to show stuff at the Summer Games Show, Gamescom, PlayStation Showcase later in the year and the Game Awards.

A ton of PS Plus Extra games where already featured on PS Plus before. As one who had this service from 2007 I'm finding it had to see a value in the Extra subscription.

I liked the Uncharted movie, I had a lot of fun watching that one.
I watched a part of Halo and had fun with that, seeing how bad it was.
So sure I watch, if it's good I continue, if not I stop.

The first one was a great game with fun gameplay and a better story than most crap Di$ney creates with this ip.

I get it why PlayStation wants a bigger piece of that pie, but it's a sad direction in that people rather play more of the same with silly crap to dress their character than experience a brand new game.

They tried this on PS3 and failed (just like all the mp crap) and I hope history repeats.

I think this is fine, the games are already made so it's cheap to port them to pc. It's about time the self proclaimed master race will get decent games.

If you had Plus from the beginning you see a ton of games in that list you already have. Quite disappointing.

PlayStation just recently dabbled in the PC market and it already is a bullet-point for the company as it rakes in money.
The acquisition for Insomniac and the porting studios probably already earned their investment back and than some. There is a way to do this smarter and result in quality AND quantity and PlayStation is doing it.
Meanwhile Xbox studios are struggling and management is failing while buying a lot of problems.

Awesome game for a big screen tv, don't get why one would want to play it on a small screen.

Why would PlayStation need a big show?
To sell PS5's, no they sell as quick as they can make them.
To compete with MS, no there is nothing to compete with.

I can see small shows to present upcoming games like GoW or Stray. But where Xbox is still living on the promise of what is coming, PlayStation steadily releases their exclusives.
Yes we will probably see something about New Plus and some more info on PSVR2 but they have time and will release it if they can take something away from moments where MS shoots it's load.

Free to play is already an earning money scheme when one does is correct. So to add more revenue trough adds in it could put people off and make them loose money. It's a stupid idea.

I think Cyberpunk failed to execute on it's vision. The translation from pen and paper to a video gamer failed and ended up messy and incomplete. It's a shame management lacked the talent. It's my biggest disappointment of the past 10 years.

And in the end we will see that it isn't the engine nor the ip that makes a good game. It's about the quality of the creative people who work in these studios.

@Grimwood Oh will game fest be in a huge building this year with exhibiters' and press and some general public where game demo's are presented. I don't think so.

E3 was great until it wasn't. I'm not goin to miss it and I'm sure Summer Game Fest will grow and grow and be awesome.

I miss a face for PlayStation. Xbox has Phil Spencer, sure he looks like he just jerked off before he gets on camera but he is recognizable and knows how to sell mediocracy very well. Nintendo has Shinya Takahashi and sure it is (fittingly) very Japanese and to a western person maybe a bit stiff and silly but it works. And PlayStation got, well, nothing. Jim isn't suited for it but for games I think Hermen Hulst together with Shuhei Yoshida would be a great power couple and we have Mark Cerny to do hardware but that leaves services and stuff like Plus open and it isn't just one face. After 2+ years of lockdowns I need to see a human talking to me a bit and share my passion for what is a great product. Maybe bring back the actor who played Kevin Butler in the PlayStation commercials, he was fun.

On PS3 you monthly got 6 games. In addition to that you got 10 or 12, I'm not sure exactly how many, game each year. After a year those games where changed into new games. I was expecting that would happen again but PlayStation is incredibly vague about this collection. I hope we see them all changed into new games as the current once will be playable if you added them to your collection.

This is a downgrade for sure and a terrible deal. I'm currently subscribed to Plus but Essential will give 1 less game than the current (mostly mediocre 3 games) so when my sub is finished I won't renew.

PSPlus at the moment has 3 games -> PlayStation Plus Essential will have only 2 games.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Essential are PSnow divided into 2 separate services as PSnow had both downloadable and streaming services.
The number of games isn’t the problem, PSnow had a ton of games but streaming was bad and 95% of the games are shovelware. No mentioning of day one exclusives is an additional problem for all that cost.

I don't know about how this ip will translate into a movie. I love the games but this character is very quiet and most of the time he fights. Sure there is a story in there that could work for a movie but a series?

I like the cars in the clip but that is as much positive I can say about this garbage.

Thankfully it's now a working game on console but it sure isn't a great game. I expect more from a roleplaying game than what is delivered and even more from what is promised. I give it a 7.

There is a value in giving people enough free time to recuperate, spending time with family, loved once and do some hobby's. Those people are more happy, more productive and will stay at your company. PlayStation is investing a lot in talent and making those talented peoples lives miserable doesn't keep them at the company.
The in the long term this is always the best way to run a company.

I'm sure this won't be the last patch we will see for this game.
First need to finish Dying Light 2 and Horizon Forbidden West so April will see me dusting of the old CP2077 disk.

• The power of the system isn't important - We have the most teraflops and that counts (it doesn't).
• Exclusives aren't important - We buy a ton of game studios and make most of them exclusive.
  Phil says one thing and a few years later he says the opposite. His wording doesn't mean a thing and frankly I don't care. If anything I want to play comes out only on Xbox I will buy that thing, not very probable, but still...

And again half of an old game is presented as a full Plus game. This has to stop.
