Huge step down from Diablo 3 imo

Gross stream only

God this game was great

Didn't need a remake imo

Maybe Chernobylite and Far Cry 6 for me, idk

@JayJ kinda how I felt about it. It was cool for 3 or 4 sessions of couch co-op with my buddies but after you played all the levels a couple times there's really not much else to it

@MrPeanutbutterz it felt that way to me. Most places were grey and brown, character designs didn't stand out, etc

@MrPeanutbutterz does every single aspect of the game have to be generic before I can consider it generic overall???

@MrPeanutbutterz the gameplay, characters, story, and yes the setting were generic to me. Maybe the setting isn't super common in games (I can think of a few games set in that period) but it is in everything else. Just nothing about it stood out to me

@Almost_Ghostly I have very limited time for games and I pay attention to what other people say. If a lot of people say something is bad or mid, I don't want to waste time with it. Besides, if the combat is bad then it's a waste of my time anyway

Not exactly a glowing review for Alone in the Dark, which is the only thing here that would maybe appeal to me

@Ilovecoffee European games have really stepped up this gen

Oh wow a 10. I remember a lot of places weren't too hot on the first one, and due to the bugs I wasn't either at first, but once they fixed it I loved it

Ironic since it was the best game they released in quite a while

Avowed, KCD2, and this have my year packed already

I tried the new one and after about 6 hours I was just bored. There's not enough meat in the progression or combat for me. I'm more interested in this older one tbh

I don't follow games as much as I used to, but it seems to me Bioware as we knew it just died after Inquisition. Andromeda is meh, Veilguard is meh. I don't understand how it got such high reviews. Boring story/characters, sanitized, and dumbed down gameplay. Bioware is dead imo and I have 0 hope for the next Mass Effect.

I'll buy old remastered games but not stuff that came out 10 years ago

@GraniteFraggle I do not disagree about the saving. I have limited time nowadays and having to replay big chunks of a game (even if it's 30 minutes) really gets on my nerves

@GraniteFraggle I'm a hema nerd (I'm more into the arms and armor and the way life was then than the martial arts I guess) and KCD did it for me. The saving thing sucks at first but eventually I was swimming in Savior Schnapps

Playing BG3 now and having a good time. I'll be all over KCD2 as well

I tried to play Dragon Age Veilguard but that game just sucks. Played some Space Marine 2 and just bought Baldur's Gate 3
