Been subbed for the full 15 years and currently on Premium, I stacked a load of cheap PS Now subs back in the day so got upgraded by default when they revamped the service.

Definitely had its ups and downs but mostly happy enough with the service over the years. If I get half a dozen decent titles over each year then I'm good with it.

@zhoont - Got it, you need to have maximum consumables, forty, soda, soy food, lockpick etc. Once full attempt to pick up another. Has to be 10 different items.

Very tempted to grab Dragon's Dogma 2 for that price. How's the performance on the base PS5 these days?

@zhoont - Yeah I'm scratching my head with that Pack Rat trophy. Few tips, for the 25 lockpick/multi tool ones you can make a save in front of a door, security camera etc, unlock it and reload the save. Rinse and repeat. For the read 100 newspapers, books etc you can read the same book over and over to pop the trophy. Upgrade any skill to Master level can be done straight away, start a new game and max any 675 point skill to get the trophy then downgrade it.

You can't earn trophies with cheats active.

@themightyant - Its a really solid port considering the PS2 hardware and the long load times that plagued it are near instant in this version. I'm a few hours in and it holds up well enough. Definitely worth a playthrough.

@johncalmc - They can only steal so much, keep in mind Bungie have an ongoing lawsuit accusing them of stealing the plot for the original Destiny 2 campaign.

@Darude84 - You should just fire it up and jump in. I played it for 103hrs, got the plat, beat NG+ etc all in the launch state. Zero bugs encountered. Unusual these days but the game was in fantastic shape from day one. I'd actually refuse the patches so you can experience the nuclear force of late game Maelle before they nerfed her!

@Ultrasmiles - Same here, my Kafka, Black Swan, Ruan Mei and Huohuo team has been redundant for far too long. DoT crits and a purpose built dedicated DoT support would be welcome.

@PuppetMaster - You're welcome mate. Also worth keeping in mind is that Deus Ex takes place after Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. Both of those games are prequels to Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Invisible War.

@PuppetMaster - Don't expect to be doing Adam Jensen style takedowns or anything like that, the gameplay is very basic but all the emergent sim stuff is there. Its a really solid port and shouldn't suffer from framerate drops and long loads as it did on PS2. Definitely worth a playthrough.

Here's a pretty comprehensive article on the differences between the port and PC version. The PS2 version had to make some necessary map changes but is surprisingly intact.

@Fishnpeas - He also made Half-life Opposing Force and Blue Shift as well as the mostly excellent Brothers in Arms games. I can forgive him for ACM, outsourcing that mess gave us Borderlands. Something good came from it.

@z0d15g0d - Out of morbid interest I checked the store and they're selling a bundle with most of the content for £125, that doesn't include dungeon keys, the upcoming DLC is £85 with a season pass that does get the new keys. So £210+ to play almost, but not everything, that D2 has to offer. F2P? Not in this universe.

Meanwhile, I just gave away my alt HSR acct that has some of the best 5* characters and signature LC's in the game and can clear all endgame content, that cost a grand total of £0.00p. Actually F2P. Bungie are cancer.

@Dan12836666 - Yes, the article says the difficulty options will be patched in alongside the expansion release.

@z0d15g0d - When it first went F2P you could still play all of the Red War which was the actual D2 campaign. Once they vaulted that along with Curse of Osiris, Warmind and Forsaken it lost any right to call itself F2P.

After that happened it became 'free to start' with all meaningful content locked behind multiple paywalls.

@Mintie - They already did. FF, Tales of series, Ys, Ni No Kuni etc all exist. Production values may vary but they're all solid games. This game will be 10% what you see and 90% garbage.

@AtlasLivesAgain - Its by Hotta so characters will be redundant every time they release a new one. The way they power creep in ToF is disgusting. I don't expect this will be any different.

Therta and Aglaea came back fast! Remember when reruns could take a year lol. Wonder if that placeholder slot in the new 5* character store will be revealed?

Wouldn't mind seeing Argenti get put in there but Kafka and Black Swan seem the more likely candidates. Nobody in their right mind would pull for them on rerun.

@themightyant - Agreed, probably the best event we've had. Hopefully it gets added to the permanent replay list when the event ends.

Just wrapped up the Hades plat so I'm picking up my long dormant Lies of P NG+ run for a few hours then making a start on Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition. Have a good weekend all!

@Suur - Disable game auto updates on your console. The update will only trigger when you boot up the game and you can cancel and delete the patch in the notification menu, you'll need to do it every time you play though, or just disable Internet before you play it, either way will work.

Why raise prices when they can lower their gacha pack drop rates by 0000.1% and make billions.

An easy 9/10 for me and I'm not really a fan of turn based games, only ever liked a few of them. HSR, Resonance of Fate and Eternal Sonata being the standout ones but this far exceeds them, most enjoyable game I've played in years.

What? 70 5* characters and LC's? There are only 64 characters in the game and 22 of those are 4* and there's 47 5* LC's. That's an awful lot of past and future whaling! That free book costs tens of thousands of real money. Hilarious.

@Jrs1 - Never played Pure but Split/Second is a banger! Would love to see MS revive Blur now they own it. Even if it was only to make it back compat on Series consoles. That game is too good to be left rotting.

Jak X is a glaring omission. Sadly the best take on the MK formula is forever stuck on PS3/360, the superb BLUR from Bizarre Creations.

@themightyant - As usual new MoC is a banner sales pitch. Putting a boss on floor 12 who is capable of wiping your entire team is as slimy as it gets.

Picked up Stellar Blade in the sale so getting stuck into that. Not too far in, I've fought three main bosses and just arrived at the big settlement. Fun game so far. Have a good weekend all!

@themightyant - Yeah if you're going for Mydei then Luocha is a very comfortable team mate. I just think people only consider Gallagher as a break team unit when he's very much usable outside of that team. I've used both him and Lynx alongside Mydei and they both performed really well.

@themightyant - 'I don't have a decent healer'. You have Gallagher. Luocha is godly for free heals in a team that needs it like a Blade or Mydei comp but Gallagher is a top tier healer in his own right. Secret 5* tbh mate.
