@Quintumply - The first console version wasn't Hell and Damnation on PS3. Painkiller Hell Wars was on OG Xbox in 2006.

@PuppetMaster - I will never understand why Orb MTX ever came to DMC. It started in DMC4 SE, a game that actually increased Orb drops lol. I made an Orb farm vid for SE back in the day that netted 300k Red Orbs in 30 minutes. The same amount they were selling for £1.79p. Capcom gonna Capcom.

@TheKurgan - I cheated lol, I had it in my wishlist so got a notification when the last sale went live.

@JB_Whiting - Yeah I noticed it'd been pulled from the recently added games. I own the PS4 version and had to 'buy' the PS5 version for £0.00 through my library. Sony are notoriously bad at implementing these upgrades.

Nothing to do with this game whatsoever but that pic really reminds of the art style of Ska Studios/James Silva. The 2 Dishwasher games he made were amazing. Shame they never got PS ports. Random ramble over.

@BusyOlf - I grew up in NW England and heard plenty of people speak like that, especially at secondary school. It was originally an all girls grammar school that became a mixed comprehensive one year before I went there.

When I started years 1-2 were mixed and 3-5 were all girls and a vast amount of them sounded like that as they were taught to speak Queens English. Which is being spoken by that VA.

Admittedly this was 40 years ago and things have changed a lot since then but some people did and still do sound like that. Even in Northern England.

@BusyOlf - That female VA is Jennifer English who actually speaks like that though less breathy irl and is in fact, English.

+1 for Chernobylite, currently playing this and while it does have a few quirks and some janky moments the atmosphere is amazing, especially when exploring long abandoned buildings, they absolutely nailed the audio design and the environmental storytelling is brilliant. Gem of a game.

@z0d15g0d - All good dude, I completely forgot the DDD LC on Robin is absolutely useless. Didn't stop me though lmao.

@z0d15g0d - Really? I haven't used my Firefly team for ages but I'm pretty sure Gallagher's E2 gives him a cleanse on skill.

@Omegaweapon1987 - I know there are plenty of leaks that come to pass and Hoyo are so ass backwards at times that buffing standards that don't need it wouldn't surprise me in the least, I just think it'd be a huge slap in the face to do that when paid units need it far more and they need to sell units. We'll just have to wait and see.

@z0d15g0d - Bailu is an easy fix. Make an Abundance LC that can cleanse on skill. That would make her usable at least.

@Omegaweapon1987 - Right, so reddit rumours with nothing confirmed. Not saying standards won't get buffed but Hoyo earn nothing from doing that. Makes more sense to buff Blade etc to entice spending on rerun banners, can almost guarantee the current Silver Wolf rerun has earned them next to nothing seeing as she's also fallen off a cliff.

I've got Blade, Jingliu, Seele and others rotting away on my account because they're all useless right now and nobody will pull them on reruns unless they can bring them back to at least be usable in anything besides story/overworld.

@Omegaweapon1987 - Do you have a link to them actually naming those characters? Why buff free characters when paid units like Blade, Jingliu, Seele etc have fallen off a cliff. Bronya, Clara and Himeko don't even need any buffing as they are still very much usable in current content.

All this game ever needed was more set piece firefights to pad the runtime a bit. It had some amazing weapons but you barely got to use them. GoW 1 (Gears) did this to add a few extra hours gameplay. Wholly unnecessary but those fights were lots of fun and made the game feel more complete than it actually was.

Will Sheva still have potato AI? Man she is useless, say what you will about RE6 but partner AI in that game is spot on.

@JohnKasarinlan - I can only assume they advertised Warrior as hard is because we live in the participation medal days now.

For anyone that beat this game on Warrior and thought it was a breeze, here's a quick look at the actual hard mode of OG NG2. Mentor difficulty. Old but gold.

Let's set this bad camera thing straight. You're wrong. NG2 in any form does not have a bad camera, it actually has a fantastic camera for the simple reason that the player has full control of it, it doesn't try to dictate where it looks and it doesn't try to frame the action outside of extended ultimate technique animations. It lets you put it wherever you want to.

It isn't there to help you because it lets you help yourself. The only time it gets funky is when you get backed into a wall or corner and that only happens because you let yourself get put there by playing badly. People complain about it because they never take the time to learn how to use it.

@Orpheus79V - I couldn't agree more, imho its far better than RE5 which always seems to get a pass while having less of a horror element than RE6 and the worst partner AI of all time.

@z0d15g0d - Wouldn't be the first time, Sigma 2 on PS3 used the Sixaxis to jiggle the ladies bewbs.

@Pondo320 - Nowadays? Team Ninja were doing this 20 years ago. Ninja Gaiden on OG Xbox got two Hurricane Pack patches that changed the camera, added new enemies and bosses, intercept counter attacks, updated enemy AI and loads more.

@RaZieLDaNtE - I get what you're saying but they cannot lose code when there are 1 million NG2 discs out there with the shipped code on them. Ebay is a thing. BluePoint don't use source code. They reverse engineer code from retail discs for their remakes. No reason why Team Ninja couldn't do that.

@RaZieLDaNtE - Hey Raz, yeah I finished it too but I'm pissed at myself for blindly buying it. They traded on the NG2 name and added insult to injury by putting Black in the title and saying its the definitive NG2 version when all they did was reskin Sigma 2 with less content than the Master Collection version.

@JorutoHayabusa - Clueless, NG2B IS NGS2. Its a port. Modders have already got the Buddha fight working. It is the NGS2 code reskinned in UE5 not NG2. You are playing Sigma 2.

@JorutoHayabusa - Why avoid Sigma 2 when NG2Black is just a Sigma 2 port with less content? All they did was cut the Buddha and Liberty fights. No incendiary shuriken, no windmill shuriken. Forced use of LotG and LottG, no Test of Valor, no bow UT's. Those awful tag missions instead of the OG mission mode.

They cut the 2 crappy boss fights from Sigma 2, changed a few item locations added horrific input lag and called it Black for the sake of nostalgia. This game is not NG2.

@Beerheadgamer82 - What? How are the original trilogy being ignored? RE 1, 2 and 3 all got remastered/remade already.

I will always stand up for RE6. Is it a great RE horror game? Probably not, but it is a banger TPS action game and has the best version of Mercenaries ever made. I'm in. Again!

@Fiendish-Beaver - Your assumption of dolites and thieves having things you didn't is quite sickening tbh. My father worked 60+ hr weeks as a truck driver, my mother had 2 jobs as a cleaner and school dinner lady. My sister and I both had part time jobs while in school and college. We paid for what we had, as did many others where I was brought up.

How about, oh I dunno. Days Gone 2? By all accounts Bend would like a crack at it, there's a clear fanbase that want it but Sony would rather Bend didn't make a guaranteed money maker.

@Fiendish-Beaver - I lived through the entirety of my teens in the 80's on a sh*thole council estate and everybody I knew had a VCR, more so by the early 90's when Twin Peaks was airing. We were all piss poor but we all had one in the house.

There was a rental shop on the precinct and every paper shop in the area had a rack of vids to rent out. VCR's weren't unicorns.

Own Anno, Sayonara and Atlas Fallen already but glad for those getting to play them. All solid games. Happy with GoW R, wasn't ever going to buy it but I'll take it for 'free'.

@Oram77 - Definitely worth picking up, the season pass is currently £8.69 too. Basically getting you the £75 Digital Ultimate Edition for under £20.

Would love to see Ghost of Sparta get a port. By far the best classic style GoW game.

@IceClimbersMain - There is zero chance Sony would lock PS3 emulation as a PS5 Pro only feature. Never happening.

Nope, never touched it. I was a slave to Xbox Rewards when it was good and earned a small fortune that got me a free Series X console and dozens of games. PS Stars has never been that generous. Its not even as good as MS Rewards is at its current worst. I can live without that random fiver.

The PS3 version of Bayonetta was horrific. The only game I ever played with a loading screen for the pause menu!

Wuthering Waves, really enjoyable so far but this PS5 port is rough. The framerate is all over the place, often dropping when absolutely nothing should be stressing it at all. Also had about half a dozen crashes. Early days I know but it needs work. Have a good weekend all!

Played about 4h and so far so good. Genshin clone for sure but does enough differently combat wise to be its own thing. Not bad at all.

Just wrapped up the Code Vein plat and about to start Fenyx Rising. Loved it on PS4, had no idea there was a free upgrade for PS5 until I spotted it in my library today. Looking forward to playing it all over again. Have a good weekend all!

@breakneck - I thought the same about North until the credits rolled on TLoU back on PS3. Was blown away when I saw he voiced David. I had no idea while playing through it. Stellar performance!

@QualityGeezer - Is that an ingame survey? I didn't walk a step, as soon as I had control of the character I went straight into options, no invert Y, deleted game.

No invert Y axis makes it unplayable for me. How a game releases without such a basic option in 2024 is absolutely staggering. Hopefully they patch it in.

Code Vein, started it a few days ago and just cleared the mandatory video game ice area, think I'm about halfway through the game. Decent enough Soulslike, if you like the genre its worth a look. Have a good weekend all!

Would much prefer FH4. FH5 is alright but definitely the lesser game. Especially where DLC is concerned.

That game allowed you to buy trophies with ingame currency. I guarantee nobody has that platinum without buying at least one trophy from that vendor.
