Also, for goodness sakes, don't judge a game without playing it. It is such a worthless endeavour. If I read the synopsis for the first 10 minutes of TLOU (pt1) I would have thought it very cliched and boring. Playing it was very different though. I even think God of War would not make sense without context.

The game might suck, the story might suck, or it might be really good. Wait and play. Or don't. That is also your right.

Plus, PushSquare is a very fair site and will give its own opinion regardless of whether it is Sony or popular.

@gollumb82 @R1spam I remember playing Gun and then Read Dead Revolver and Gun was so much better. It had aged but as a narrative story it works well and really feels like a western.

@Arugula Not that I am aware of - there was a 360 release though little more than a PS2 port but no PS3 re-release and not backward compatible.

Oh boy for me it is going to be kicking into Resi 4 on PS4 and some more Gun on the 360.

@LieutenantFatman Ahead of its time. Eventually, every game will have no spoken dialogue or subtitles explaining what is happening and the likes of Nolan North and Troy Baker are out of a job.

I always get annoyed in these resort games at just how the people seem so wealthy and happy. However, agreed that more games would be good so there is variety out there.

Well I wanted to like this, played it at EGX in 2018 and was nearly physically ill. Not the fault of the game because I don't think I could work out the comfort settings in time but it has put me off since!

I wholeheartedly agree - there are some amazing open world games but the my overall favourite games tend to be intricately designed non open world. The Last of Us, Bloodborne, God Of War, Dark Souls. These worlds feel so well designed and clever that you don't notice a lot of the time that they are not 'open'.

I wanted improved load speeds to give even more intricate design as opposed to maps millions of times bigger than the previous.

@Eldritch Oh wow - I love the rapture soundtrack and remember being ill while abroad for work and just listening to it on repeat to relax. So Let Us Melt is great too.

@Eldritch She is married to their lead founder and co-founded it but yeah she stepped back from being a producer on their games but is still scoring their projects.

@Nakatomi_Uk Agreed, I still play my PS3 and Vita and would love to see even minimal effort. I checked out the PS3 sale and it had AssassiNs Creed games for £15. The remasters are cheaper on PS4!

@Stocksy Me too. I had a 64gb memory card that died so have been collecting as many Physical second hand as I can but they have started to go up in price from what I can see.

@Ralizah Exactly this. Physical prices are still very very high (largely second hand) in the UK compared to digital and there are so many games I would like to get on Vita.

This is pretty nifty. I do wish that Sony would do some maintenance on the Vita Store. Firstly, they have not updated it at all and secondly they have stopped virtually all price promotions. Now the format is 'dead' I sort of wish that they would do large scale promotions to squeeze some more cash out. The last Vita sale was Boxing Day sales in 2018.

I've heard that the PS5 gives you airborne diseases.

I've heard that this game has been canned some time ago, or that Sony had stopped supporting it but I know no official announcement has been made. Could be dusted off for PS5 I suppose.

Eclectic mix for me as I dance around the house to find space to chill. Mainly Tomb Raider anniversary in XB1, some Ratchet and Clank Trilogy on Vita and loving Replaying Gun on the 360.

To be honest, we will see a lot of these early remasters. The reason being is that there is always a content drought and people who early adopt are desperate for any game that takes advantage of the new console. If you can get any game out there early, you'll sell more.

Remember how many units some of those early Switch ports shifted?

Normally I rush home from work to get these stability updates installed or I even call my wife and talk her through how to update. Knowing I am just at home and can do it any time takes the thrill out of.

Don’t get all the negative comments. No one wants to lose money and they need to release it globally in the way they do for every major release.

Yeah the issue is all about logistics and infrastructure now and cost savings. A lot of business is weighing up furloughs and temp shutdowns since they can't ship their products in the correct volumes globally. One of the key reasons for TLOU was that they couldn't guarantee launching across all regions and that would be bad on sales and reception.

Hmm have been seeing Resi 2 going for £14.99 on some stores so not the greatest of savings but could be worth it I suppose.

As someone who has consistently suffered from terraflopage issues in my personal life, the ability to increase size and rigidity is appreciated.

Wow this quarantine thing is bringing out the trolls. I have seen a lot on social media of platform fanatics of all sides trolling which I don't get. Truth is, I don't like epic and their philosophy but if they are giving good devs funding and independence, you can't blame them. besides, Epic games are typically PC exclusives. Until epic release their own console (you heard it here first).

Extended crunch is poor management and free reign artistic handling in my opinion. Crunch on projects is sometimes inevitable, but bearing in mind the release date for TLOU2 has been moved several times, they must have been crunching an awful long time.

Gutted - I had planned to take a day trip down to London for this and there was some great indies I was eyeing up to play. Also seen that Insomnia has been cancelled which I was also going to go to.

All for the right reasons but... poop. Back to my self isolation it is.
