@BaldB3lper78 Quickly swap between both images and you will notice that hair is much more crispier and detailed. Is it gamebreaking improvement? No. But every improvement is small step forward.
@Deadhunter by bad, I meant gameplay design not game in general. I like that games has balanced difficulty in Open world and there is no Difficulty settings. But again, it will turn away very casual players and more likely game will not be hard enough for "true gamers"
It is looking good enough for me. Meaningfull open world is much more important than XP and levels. Excited to try it out. Hopefully it can sustain my hype levels
And Playstation again posted Sons of Sparta video on their Youtube. When thay have been so active to promote their game? This is like 7th video in their youtube channel after game release
Highguard will be switched off soon. There is no chance to keep lights on with no players. Devs are gone, roadmap is in bin. Any update now will be small and not substantial. Will wait little bit till all drama sets down and then can close it down. It has to be in Open Beta beforehand. Shadowdropping new IP with one game mode and not really fun gameplay was bad idea. Money is spent, IP name is tainted. There is no value to pump even more money in to turnaround it.
@lazarus11 go back and rewatch video. None of that is available. It is only visual customization. Hair, beard, eyebrow, eye colour. Face features are not possible to change. I dont know where you get impression about that.
@lazarus11 customization is not character creator. And again, it is Crimson Desert PR guy word choice. He is saying this game is not classical RPG, but it has many RPG elements. It is more intended that this game is bigger than that or it offers more experiance than just simple RPG. I am just trying to explain what that PR guy told with more context that just simple "it's not RPG"
@lazarus11 PRNsaid, it is not RPG by definition, but it has kot of RPG elements. There is no Character creator. There is no vast options with dialogues. You don't make impact through talking etc. In general they avoid to have "tags" attached to the game. They are showing what is in the game. It has roots from MMO. Lot of activities, lot to do, you can do only Main story, or you can kose time on all side thing to acomplish. It is your choice. It is not classical RPG in that sense, and that was idea buy that quote
I bought PS5 couple months after release. Scalpers etc... PS5 PRO preordered and I am generally satisfied. Yes, I can afford that purchase, but it expensive one, for sure. And I am waiting for PS6 asap. Will it be delayed? Nothing to do. But I will not clap my hands to see it delayed. I enjoy games, I want to play best games on best console. I dont get that look of console as "investment" I have to get value back or else.
@HonestHick Yes, any improvement is welcomed. In general I am very excited for Expansion and changes. I dont know how it is for you, but I enjoy regular changes in D4. It keeps game refreshing for me. Sadly loot filter will not salvage items, atleast not on launch and by their language it is not guaranteed they can make it work later. I really don't like to leave something on the ground, even if it will be invisible. I want to hoard all those resources And not everything is uncovered. Lot of things are changing. Build changing Passives from Skill tree will go towards Affixes or stmh. They need to balance game, to not have very dominant power creep early on. Sadly I "have to" finish every season, but S12 will be uninspiring
@HonestHick That Endgame has to be seen if it really will stand on its own. I have 1100 hours into D4. Finished every Season more or less. But that Engame just showed you pick 5 existing in-game activities and have some control over rewards? My main issue with Endgame is that there is no challenge game wide when you have crafted end tier armor/weapons/build. For now only Pit is scaling difficulty. And everything else just dies at that point from just looking onto them.
@themightyant its not terrible, but it could be much better. There are not many space type games with ships etc. But design flaws are so many. Cities are built poorly, especial capital city. They cut out all extra nits to make immersive. Using city metro? Loading screen. But I can easily walk that area and I dont need loading screen. And that hilarious loading screen in nightclub elevator/lift is just big joke. After Starfield I am even glad that Fallout 5 will not be released in next 5 years, because I need huuge cooldown for next Bethesda letdown
@themightyant Loadingfield has never been fixed. Maybe 2.0 they will implement more "natural" feeling around that and will amend game engine to not have 4 Loading screens to travel somewhere. There has to be better implementation.
And Exploration is just not good enough. 1000 planets but less than 10 different procedural planet encounters? But that all is just repeating same problems over and over.
15 those magic spells and all of them has same puzzle? Times 10 if you want those to max out with New Game+... who thought that is good enough design?
I have played over 100hrs in Starfield. Have finished one full run and have done extra tidbits on different runs/New game+.
@Oram77 not game, Physical edition. In general to launch Physical edition on Day one, it has to be moved through warehouses month or even more before release date, which makes very vulnerable to leaks etc. All what was said from that leaker, that very likely R*/T2 will delay Physical release. But again, everything can change. That final decision will be made on next 6 konths in R*/T2 offices. More likely someone told him that they are talking about that.
@Oram77 “That’s not the plan,” is all that was sayed about that. In corporate language is this really 100% "Yes, physical edition will be available on Day One" equal?
@TrollOfWar you would say that already released Accessibility controller is not patented by Sony? And anyone can make such copy-cat design? I doubt that.
@Boxmonkey it is slightly misleading. People installed it in first place because it was promoted in Game Awards. Geoff pushed ad out. They had to make trailers and etc. They originally wanted to do Shadowdrop. It wouldnt ever reach 90k+ in first place without game awards show
@Czar_Khastik yeah, I enjoy Pro for over year. But it is weak investment now, for maybe 2,5 years at earliest from Delay rumours. Tho in couple months there should be PSSR 2.0, but still it is experimental stuff in general. It will be polished as software and Dev tool for PS6 more, when it will be standard.
@Czar_Khastik Price wise for PS4 games it still would come close to Steamdeck. But yeah, hopefully PS6 release will have standalone Portal with reasonable pricing.
@ear_wig ehat RAM shortage has to do with US elections and world finances? You want to say that Trump is impacting Sony decision to delay console? Seems silly
@1970sGamer You know that Sony doesnt make TV panels? Only software/hardware for image processing etc. TCL makes panels. And they have big plans to join fight vs LG and Samsung with their own OLED panels.
I will be on Love it side. It is refreshing that there is something different. And yes, they have option implemented to have regular gray smoke without all the fuss from those animations. But I have spent lot of time in this game over past couple years, and I choose any of animations which compliments design of the car. But one thing I have to say, NFS is not easy game to master. You can have fun, but driving fast is driving on another level.
When you can play game on TV, you can guess how shallow it will be. Click and hit/pass etc. That will not be full scale football game. Just themed experience for World cup. Big heads maybe?
@Questionable_Duck I am not hating very heavily this game. I had high hopes. I have finished it fully once. But loading screens and approach to exploration and endless black screens just isnt great. Imagine GoW which has 0 black screen loading screens. That is not breaking immersion, but constant black screen, get into ship, get to the seat, get off the seat, get of the ship. Even one that corporatte planet has so many doors to load through. Same as Atlantis. You can jump over/fly from one region to another, but metro is loading screen. It feels cheap and old.
But if they have improved game like really towards 2.0, it could be much better experience. It is not bad game in general, I like such type of games, choices to approach and dialougue options. I was hyped for something much "better". 10 proper planets would be better than 995 soulless ones.
@nessisonett yeah, Stick drift is pain. I switched 3 controllers recently to TMR magnetic sticks. Found friendly service which did labour for 20£ per controller, and TMR costs from 16£ per controller at Amazon. Cheaper than new Controller, and goodbye to any stick drift in future.
As it is obvious. R* will keep original games "original". Only it ports to newer generation of consoles and thats all. Slightly increase image quality and unlock up to 60fps and thats all. They are just preserving their games for future proof and thats all. Same will happen with RDR2. Slightly nicer and 60fps.
i enjoyed DL2 for what it was. I really enjoyed it most parts and Verticality felt awsome. Somehow The Beast didnt pull me in. It is small town. Verticality is very low. Feels like nothing compared to DL2. And too much woods. And if in Metropolitan city Zombie amount felt good, then in small town to have every day full with zombies, ehh, I am ranting too much... it breaks immersion for me that there is 0 impact on world (yeah, same as DL2, but that map felt Massive), and just nonstop hack and slash is not for me I guess.
@somnambulance that is strange thinking. Nothing in world is for free or cheap in general. If something cuts down prices someqhere, then elsewhere it rises up. Everything is in balance. Firstly it will eat more computer stuff, then with it will eat more and more electricity and all infrastructure around it. Demand will skyrocket, so will prices will go up.
