@Ravix it is all about fantasy.
On regular you play Campaign. It has solid story, probably not full price worth.
Once you have done that, you can jump in seasons. Seasons usually you start by skipping campaign. Seasons have their own story, it is significantly less in cutscene and missions, but it gives new backstory.
Game has 5 classes. Each class has mtiple viable builds/playstyles. Seasons gives option to play different class/playstayle everytime + adds some type of new mechanic which makes game more fun/difficult.

Such games in general is not about to build tour character endlessly, this is not regular MMO. ARPG stays "fresh" by changing things more or less in each season.

But like always, that is not game for everyone. And to try it out by buying game, it can bring disappointment, if you would not enjoy such game cycle.

@djlard I would assume you havent seen any of Uber Uniques. Not even saying that now almost all regular Uniques aswell are reworked more or less.

@Zuljaras Diablo yeah, D4 bad. Just delete and never look back.
Its not the curse, thats how game stays relevant for much longer time. And as bad it is, getting real data from players playing game on massive scale is best way to understand what needs work with such games. D4 was released not fully ready, and S2 patch shows it. Now it will be decent start.

I would guess you would post same comment if it was beggining to Diablo 3, that they can't fix it.

You know, they need to bump up quaterly earnings, people are playing less. Need to milk existing players little bit more.

@Landstalker it will be rolled out first with Playstation Direct stores. And UK has that one.

It is what it is. And sadly for some players, I am excited for 2nd season. Changes are promising and game is going somewhere. Lets spin to win next week.

Game is awsome for stats nerds like me. I like to play MyNBA, manager mode and all those historic stats are there, all new stats gets collected too, all awards you can see and new to earn. So much details in that space while my friend EA Fifa/FC does nothing in this regard. I never buy this game on release. Now seems that very likely PS+ could give it third year in a row in next summer. Or I buy when it is 70%+ off. Ultimate team is big no no for me in any sports game

@theMEGAniggle it is not strange but smart. You have dedicated Sims 4 players, who have spent lots of money. Lets say Sims 5 comes out empty or is nsot what they like. They will go back to Sims 4 and whats there? There is new shiny pack to buy. As soon Sims 5 will show signs to overtake Sims 4, then they will call it a day. Its smart business. Predatory? Definately, thats why I will not even look towards Sims 5.

Sims 4 was to be paid to play for so many years, and didnt hold back EA to release content which RRP value is over 900£. What does Sims 5 will change with free to download? Bring down price by 30£ and thats all.

@Loamy okay, I am not on that side of gaming, emulations. Maybe there is some secrets which could give some options for you and similar minded people. Lets see what's inside.

@dimi all Sony prices is RRP with included taxes. If stores are selling for more then that is because of extra proffits for seller not taxes.

@Sakai it doesnt. As it is stated, it doesnt even support streaming games without beeing downloaded on PS5.

@GamingFan4Lyf i doubt you can play games outside of same WIFI. Switch is console on its own, this is just display with buttons. Yes, there can be use, but that device is very niche product.

@Loamy games are streamed from ps5 installed games. There is not need for any high power chip in this device. It is just simple screen in general. It doesnt play game it streams it through wifi.

@redd214 cool. Yeah, niche but yeah, it could be very usefull in your case, and it comes with controller "together". Hopefully battery life is decent for one evening sitting. Or at least can be played while charging if happens to play for longer period of time.

@Loamy Nothing. It is just screen with split controller. Nothing else. You stream your own PS5 through WIFI

@suprnova23 I agree. But it is visible why it has be done. Those Uber uniques are too great for games state atm. I am not trying to defend blizzard, I am trying to say that endgame content is too "weak" for those items and game is not ready. S2 is only small step forward, because Leaderboards are coming only Season 3 with new endgame content, which again could be something not very impressive. I have played Dianlo 4 for 300+ hrs and I am enjoying gamepley/design/atmoshphere but game is dry after reaching WT4. All balls are in one basket - Nightmare Dungeon, which is getting booring quickly

@BaldBelper78 ofcourse. Not to offer better experience for ever evolving technology? TVs/Monitors doesnt stay in same level for 6-8 years. And every product is about money, if product would not make money at the end, products would not exist. Why cant it be both at least? Sony gets money, people get better stuff, Sony can push limits even higher with more income.

I can agree that Xbox Gamepass value is for Day one Xbox releases, but that is not cheap option in long run and finally they are dropping big game in it - Starfield. Bur to say that Gamepass is much better, that is not really objective.

The best thing is that Internet branded it as "Slim" version which it obviously isnt. It is just revised design, which will allow to add detachable disk drive. There will not be seperate design for Disk version and Digital going forward.

And how much PS5 unused performance is left on table with those "lazy devs"? Games on PS5 has to run smooth without cooking ps5 at same time. It is not viable to push console constantly in games 95%+. If you compare PS5 gpu power then it is not close to 4080, but 4070, and that card aswell is not meant for 4k gaming at high frame rates

@Acurisur why you need fsr 2.2 to push upscaled 1440p 60fps to native 4k 60fps?
When 2.2 was released for PS5? Isnt that new technology? Trying to find in web, and that is this years software update. I doubtit is expected that all major games previously released will go for update for that. Your language about lazy Devs seems not fair.

@wiiware like you are avoiding all that I am saying. How 4k 60fps is not pushing to have PS5 PRO? You maybe are satisfied to play 4k 30fps, I am not. I dont get where PRO is such negativity for you as example? Those people who are creating PS5 Pro and next PS6 are not making games. Why are you asking to halt devolepment of hardware, because you think that there is no software. And I am giving valid point to not choose between Fidelity and Performance modes in all 1st party titles but to have it all. PRO model is not mainstream model, regular PS5 will still be main console to buy because of price, but those who strive for better performance like I do, will enjoy PS5 Pro on daily basis.

I would guess, that you would have same view point 8 years ago, when PS4 Pro was rumoured. And you are contradicting yourself with past ps4 pro examples. Because it is in past, you are forgiving to release PS4 pro back then, bet PS5 Pro next year? Big No, No.

@wiiware Why not? I dont agree to that thinking, if you would always wait to improve after things has settled, then things would improve even slower. PS4 versions getting made is because there are so many PS4 out there and with 40M+ sold PS5 it is still trailing back behind PS4. But that doesnt mean that Sony shouldnt think about future.
And as PS4 Pro, that would be Premium edition which wouldnt sell the most units but give opportunity for higher performance for those who could gain from that.
For example, I have 4k 120hz TV, but PS5 for "Normal" games provides 120fps only with 1080p which looks terrible, that would give option to play games rather 4k 60fps or 1440p 120fps. Is it needed for most people? No! But 10%+ of playerbase would take that.

@wiiware 1 year? It will be 4 years... It is close to your 5-7 year target.

@Ernimus_Prime yeah? How many PS5 only games high tier has 4k 60fps? I understand you would not want to pay for that extra, but even PS5 native games doesnt provide best visuals with 60fps. It is either 4k 30fps or 1440p 60fps. I will buy PS5 Pro if it will give Performance and Quality modes at same time and I will not be pushed to choose only one option.

They dont even release game on Xbox, because Xbox provides backwards compability for x360 console version. And again, this is port from 3rd party company. Just pathetic, I was hyped aroundthose remaster rumours but what to expect.. just dissapointment, all resources ar given for GTA online and GTA 6...

@ChrisDeku yeah, I am saving 20% on PS store because of this. Shopto I have reached Gold membership while ago, usually buying with 16% discount. And then with PS Stars i can get 4% back from official price. Deluxe version cost me around 52.79£

@Uromastryx I havent got so far I guess. I started with Sorc WT3 lvl63. Took break till patch drops and now I am lvl45 Necro. Cleared WT3 capstone, but going back to WT1 to farm up till lvl50. Need to unluck all those Hearts/Legendaries/Uniques at WT4.
As much issues there are in overall around this game, I still enjoy it, amd just silly hoping that Blizzard devs will bring best possible experience in long run.

Seasons are great mechanics for these types of game to keep fresh feeling about it. Not all Seasons will be equal fun to everyone and thats okay.

Necromancer is most interesting class in Season 1 with that special power which activates Corpse skills every second.

I would like to see even more Seasonal Challenges tiers in future.

Next Tuesday will be dropped great patch, which will make game more interesting.

My plans are to hit LVL100 with Necro and Sorc.

Seems like most of you didnt get a point of issue. Issue is not buying Premium pass, but to activate it.

If you ha e purchased Deluxe or Ultimate edition, that game comes with 1x free Premium pass included. For example you can choose to not use it for 1st season and keep for 2nd or even later. But it Season menu tab there is that same Red button to activate it by using that Token and it does it without any confirmation. You cant BUY season pass with one click, but you can activate it with one click and thats what is happening for those with Deluxe and Ultimate edition owners

@JohntheRaptor which comment from this post is related to endgame players? Engame players are less likely to complain about nerfs which happened before devs will push for buffs in future because they are playing most likely season 1 and engame in there is pretty good with Seasonal malignant heart mechanics. Players who are playing eternal realm will not be core demographics for such game as Diablo is.
