Battlefield 6 Season 2 Adds Loads of New Stuff in an Effort to Revitalise the Game 1

If you're still playing Battlefield 6, you'll probably know that Season 2 has just begun, and it's bringing lots of new stuff to the popular first-person shooter.

The gameplay trailer below gives you a glimpse at what's coming as the season continues:

Season 2 is being split into three phases, with the first of these running from now until 17th March.

This first phase adds Contaminated, a new, large scale map set in a war-torn European forest. A limited-time mode is also available — VL-7, which challenges players to engage in combat while affected by psychoactive smoke that creates hallucinations.

The second phase, running 17th March to 17th April, adds another new, smaller map named Hagental Base, as well as a limited-time mode called Nightfall, featuring pitch black corridors adding an element of stealth. You'll be able to find night vision goggles to get the drop on opponents.

Phase three, from 17th April, adds a final limited-time mode called Operation Augur, which you can play across both newly added maps. This is inspired by Battlefield 1's Operations mode, featuring a longer mission with multiple objectives, emphasising teamwork and forward momentum.

On top of all that are new weapons, vehicles, gadgets, and so on, keeping things fresh with new loadout possibilities.
