What do you think of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, then? Looks like another solid strategy RPG for Nintendo folk, doesn’t it?
But if you don’t have a Switch 2, at least there’s Beaten Path to look forward to.
With all due respect, this Kickstarter-funded tactics title – due out in 2027 – doesn’t look bad at all, and it’s clearly wearing its Fire Emblem influences on its armoured sleeve.
No seriously, it’s not even hiding it – the blurb reads:

“Master the battlefield with careful positioning, unit synergy, and decisive abilities. Flank enemies, exploit terrain, and command devastating abilities in grid-based encounters inspired by Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem.”
Obviously this doesn’t have the budget of Intelligent Systems’ series, but I think the character portraits are pretty, and I quite like the shading on the environmental art.
As you’d expect of the genre, there’s a full job system and tons of team building potential, as well as the promise of full voice acting and more.
And if that’s not enough SRPG goodness for you, don’t forget Brigandine Abyss is out later this month as well.
