About what I expected to be honest. If you want to see exciting new reveals, the Game Awards will likely be the next avenue of interest.

I missed about 50 minutes of the 2nd hour, turned it back on just in time for FF7R and TW3, and I have a question- did GTA6 really not put in an appearance? I know the Netflix show is coming, nice dig in the preshow, but did they really have 2 1/2 hours of gaming news for this year and next and not give any time to what is supposed to be like 1 of the biggest game releases of all time? Seems like that would be quite the oversight if true.

I caught the last 10 minutes of Gamescom because I forgot about it and think I saw everyone worth seeing in that brief 10 minutes…

Silver Palace and Showa looked really good, Rainbow Six Tactics and Lego CitySkylines are definite buys, Mewgenics I'll definitely buy again, Stage Tour I have time for because it features Bad Omens, Static X and a couple of other damn good bands, Crimson Desert is very tempting since I only played briefly on launch day, and the Witcher 3 will be my fourth playthrough but so was Wildlands and that didn't lost it's spark.

@WolfyTn I have some love for the set-list: Billy Talent, Static X, Metallica, Megadeth, Mötley Crüe, Ghost, Bad Omens, The Clash, Mastodon, Rise Against, they secured some solid bands.

Funny how the highlight of Gamescom was Witcher 3 an 11 year old game, made by a customer friendly company. Maybe Sony should of moved to Poland.

So I didn’t really miss anything! Stage Tour I’m super interested in but i’ve been on their mailing list for months now anyway.

Stage tour might revive my "multi instrumental air band player dreams", but I'm not certain I have the will and the place to use a full set of fake instruments again and, unless there is some sort of online band feature, I won't be able to get a whole crew together again which, to me, was what made Rock Band so special.

Showa seemed fun, but with those games, the question always is "how long can the fun last?". I have hopes but it's not an easy stunt to pull.

I'm happy for Witcher and FF7 fans, even though I don't really care.

Other than that, I don't think I was the target audience for anything they showed... maybe Megaman (Capcom is on such a winning streak right now).

It's not like I don't have a backlog with tons of games to rplay anyway

@CheapMerc always funny people seem to glaze over the cyberpunk launch when glazing CDPR.

No company that is truly customer friendly would launch a game in that state, they should have delayed it especially the last gen console versions if they couldn’t delay all the platforms.
And it took well over a year to fix so they clearly knew it was messed up and still launched it anyway.

Nah that company isnt customer friendly to me, they just have a great and talented dev team that makes great game (if they get the time needed to finish it lol).

Hopefully Witcher 4 launches right and not broken (but I ain’t buying it first just in case lol)

ONTOS has got my attention. Looks like a great new IP. Shame there wasn’t any Alien Isolation 2 news…..

@Slippship Yes its called Crimson Desert enhanced edition (for free). They've added new story content / elements but they didn't go into to detail as to what that would entail and where you would find that new content.

Stage tour looks fun but no way am I paying the £270 they want for the full band kit

@CheapMerc the company that lie about cyberpunk performance on ps4 would not show any game play on it because how terrible it run on it no company is friendly besides Costco.

Tides of Annihilation is giving me the peter tingle. Gonna be a surprise hit for sure

@Slippship Yeah i'm extremely lucky in that regard. My commute is only 10 minutes to work, and I work on an industrial estate that has a gym backing onto my place of work. See the wife and kids in the morning, go to work, gym on lunch break, back to work, then home to spend time with wife and kids and then i still have plenty of hours in the evening free.

Hopefully I'm never in a position where i have to go back to long commutes.

So, witcher 3 and nothing else.

Remakes and updates to existing games and some Ubisoft (haha) tactics game. The industry has lost creativity. Glad I didn't watch this.

Cities LEGO interests me, but that will be a PC buy if it ends up being good.

There was another game trailer that popped up that's not listed here. I mentioned on the chat it didn't get noted. Wasn't an announcement trailer, though, just a new one I guess.

It's quite weird how few XBOX articles there are on this. 🤔
