@Fishmasterflex96 more like because Nintendo had to have one game in the run for ...reasons. I don't care about the game but Yotei has a lot of nominees in other categories so it really should have been there instead of Bananza.

@Oram77 I am still not over it, too. Rebirth is just AMAZING.
Having played like 260 hours of Metaphor and 300 hours of Rebirth, the second is just a better videogame but like...it exists on a whole other dimension Lmao. Not hating metaphor, after getting it to a stable frame-rate I played the heck out of it and even unlocked all the archetypes for all the cast to get the ultimate weapons.

I would say it makes sense to port the multiplayer stuff and what we would once call second party games like Death Stranding or Stellar Blade.

It’s like the guy asking you to show him a picture of that year you got the really bad haircut, I can understand the logic.

Still mad I couldn’t nab a physical copy of it, I don’t think it was bad (or good) but it’s gonna become such a relic

Team DS2! Haven’t played Yotei and felt like E33 was a very good, very derivative product. The Trails Remake feels fresher even being a remake and I even liked Fantazio better, though it had a lot of triteness to it.

This was (perhaps a bit sadly) the announcement that got me the most excited last night - I hope we get more Sega deep cuts further down the line.

The format was nice but it ultimately felt like most Nintendo Directs for me: I appreciate the vibe but have barely any interest in anything shown.

Welp, Switch sales are impressive no matter what but whatever happens in the end PS2 has an infinitely better library and sold that amount in completely different times for videogames.

I never played this but I remember reading about it in videogame magazines. It definitely has some street fighter I-II vibes and summons fake memories of the early 90s like Japanese city-pop music XD

It’s just a rumor but at this point I am convinced that Xbox team actually throws darts at a board with random ideas every month. If true I hope PS follows this one decision as paying to play online is the only thing that makes me consider PC gaming seriously.

Welp, If it’s not in preparation for a portable PlayStation, I fail to see the point of less power hungry home console mode. I mean, if I would be going through an economic rough patch I would just stop playing altogether.

These songs are great and it’s cool they are adding them.
They should have been there right from the start, though - with a dedicated gallery mode, the Answer and the female protagonist from P3P. This remake was just a big wasted opportunity and a cash grab…and this is coming from a SEGA gal through and through.

I will play this for the awesome diorama look, not sure if the SD proportions and big heads are giving me tragic history vibes.

All true, SSD and DS5 have been amazing. I do like my games to run at 60fps and have nice definition, though. Let the horrors of 30fps gaming die with this generation.

Can't wait. For me Rebirth is a master course on what a JRPG should play like in the present day. Too many JRPGs are playing it way too safe.

They should be reviewing the price to FREE, as it’s the only way anybody should be watching a streamed VG event.

@PuppetMaster Just wait. The merchant is a powerful archetype I bet they will indeed sell a new version if the game down the line, along a switch 2 release. The game is all over the place technically so I wouldn’t be surprised if a an enhanced port for switch 2 took some time to develop.

The official guidebook is almost perfect! Lots of information and strategies - they don’t do it like these anymore.

The game is a blast and Sega is not holding back on promotion and post release support. I totally get why they felt like they could playfully throw some shade at MK World. Hope we get to see a lot of Sega free crossover characters.

As someone else said, musician are canceling events in general: it's not strictly a PS thing.

WIth that said, as someone who regularly attends FF Distant Worlds concerts, I'd say that the focus on multiple IPs is a drawback - I might be interested in hearing GoW soundtrack played live but could't care less about some of the other offerings.
There is also a quality problem: these soundtracks are good but it's nowhere near Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest level. I have no desire to listen to Uncharted or Astrobot's music played by an orchestra, though I think it's good and works more than well in game.

Welp, if persona 3 reload is their template, they sure need to improve. Include all the additional content from previous releases of p4 and please, please, for the love of god, don’t use a graphic engine that feels like 10-15 years dated on release date. What’s the point of remaking the game if it looks like a ps3 release?

Waiting for a sale. Too many games and wrong launch price. This is an absolute gem but we played it about 5 times by now, should be retailing for 40€ tops.
