Only bought one PS game this year so far and that was a used copy of Hogwarts. I have though played a ton of PS Extra titles that I would never have bought and they far exceed the £83. Christ some people preorder Fifas and Cods for £90 just too get some ***** costumes etc!
Sadly I have already got this one, my lad is addicted to it and trains in general, for part of his birthday tomorrow I'll be getting the Horseshoe Curve which sadly never seems to get discounted.
Thanks, my 6 year old has got me into this. He loves the big American freight trains incidentally and is very excited at the inclusion of BNSF's for the first time on console.
We have picked up quite a few of the TSW2 maps and wondered do you know if the graphics are updated when you move your already purchased routes over to TSW3 ? Or is there a plan to update them too the swanky new engine gradually.
Thanks really enjoyed the review.
Euro Truck Simulator 2, Coromon, Hades on Steamdeck and on PS5 I decided too give up on yet another large openwork game Cyberpunk 2077 (which I have had fun with) and begin another in Days Gone. So far Days gone has been good craic.
Couldn't care less, been pants for years. Suppose a lot of the Ed Sheeran/City/Chelsea type casuals would be lost to Xbox Hardware and that concerns Sony but personally not bothered.
I was late to the party getting a 4K TV thankfully, so when I luckily got a ps5 last November, I looked into all this techy waffle and got an LG with 2.1 hdmi and capable of 120fps. Not sure if I've used it but it was more for future proofing.
Amazing game, finished the Menu book a couple of days ago, only used my credits to get I think 3 cars (mainly spent bits and bobs on tuning) . Without even the free 1 million I have over 4 million earned credits. What happened the other week was an absolutely crazy over reaction, it went off for a day, big deal. Its the best Gran Turismo yet.
Amazing reviews, I love the game. I don't get the fuss. Wasn't working for one day, boo Hoo. Over reaction of people is mad. This micro transaction thing just doesn't affect me, I get free cars when I win races. Over next few years I'll unlock the better ones as I improve. I'd hate to have all cars within a week or so. I thought it was even called a CarPG. All this 'ooh I'm so offended' about everything is ridiculous.
@poetwarlord I wouldn't wait if I was you, ps4 versions are going to sell out quickly (just ordered mine) and then you'll have to possibly wait for a full on PS5 version and perhaps be paying £60-£70 instead of £10-17 for a free ps4 upgrade.
Spent 20 years in Liverpool, now live over the water. Fantastic city, great news this. Also agree Manchester is a great city and the fact is that Scousers & Mancs are more alike than any others in England once you put the football aside. We tend to find it's those Utd fans born outside of Manchester who have this hatred for Liverpool thing as a way to perhaps try to be accepted by the real local Utd fans, bit sad really.
I'll get the PS5 disc version in 6 months or so for about £38 . Am always behind with games since having kids and thats great .
This week I picked up a used copy of Deathloop for £21 and Resident Evil Village brand new for £23 , still yet to play Last of Us 2 , Days Gone and countless countless others !
Having an absolute blast with Battlefield 2042 at the moment , hard to find time for other games,
Decent selection that, don't own any of them. Willing to give them all a try, though not sure about the one with sweaty blokes in Speedos. Have never played a Borderlands game either, trailer looks great.
Will this be a little like Destiny in that you just sort of jump in and play co-op with Strangers. Played a little of the original Destiny and enjoyed the non confrontational side of it.
Gave up trying to get one and ordered a Steam Deck. Might get one in a year or so, probably get a better deal then and of course the ps5 library should be much fatter.
@themcnoisy all true mate. 5 year old and a 2 year old. The last game I purchased was Train Sim World mainly to impress the then 4 year old whos obsessed with trains. It was strangely relaxing and therapeutic to play during that first lockdown (along with tiger king of course!)
The better the technology has become the more difficult it has become for anyone but the huge companies to be able to afford to make games and most of them are making endless sequels or focusing on those last man standing things with endless micro transactions. Oh for the days of the bedroom programmers like Mathew Smith.
I haven't bought a game in over a year, so little ps4 time. And because I keep getting free ones (that I virtually never play) I'm overwhelmed by the Amount of games I've never touched.
Beginning to think maybe I should cancel it so that I have to buy a game that genuinely interests me,perhaps then I would put more time into it and get more out of it. Boardgaming has become my new passion these last 2 years and I feel that gaming is currently under a big black stale cloud with so few new stuff and the same old franchises year after year.
Not been able to get a hold of a PS5 yet and in hindsight I'm probably glad as theres nothing but the same old same old and when this Steam Deck thing was announced I jumped onboard and threw my money at that, it'll offer so much more variety and over 10000 titles at launch. Think Sony may well have peaked.
Ordered a Steam Deck yesterday, have been almost entirely playstation gaming for last 26 years though used my wife's old laptop too play things like Table Top Simulator and Strategy games.
This is going to open up 10 years + of old PC games to me(and new stuff) and I can't wait. I'm a taxi driver so this'll be amazing to use when it's quiet. Was never interested in the Switch except for that Zelda game, games seem very dear on it too and it's the same old games generation after generation with Nintendo.
I wonder how many people out there who are waiting on a chance to get a ps5 are thinking sod it. Its nice too know I'll finally get one of these guaranteed.
Sad to hear this, Ive been a fan of the Darling Brothers since I was a kid in the 80s, I guess if I'm 45 this week then they must be mid to late 50s, can't blame them. 740million to retire... What would you do?
@Topov81 something similar happened to me when PS+ gave away Star wars battlefront 2, I'm still not sure if I've got it through ps+ or not until the EA Access expires. I suspect not.
@resigamer28 if you own 2020 you can get TSW2 for £21:25, they are giving 15% loyalty discount. Think you have to load up ts2020 then go to the in game store and purchase there. 👍
My little 4 year old is obsessed with trains so in a recent sale I bought Train Sim World it blew his mind! I have to admit that when he goes to bed I've been playing it and it's really good relaxing fun. Definitely getting this as his favourite trains are the CSX ones.
Bought Valkyria Chronicles back on the ps3 and loved it but barely did a quarter of campaign, last week I bought it again and the sequel for £15 in the sale on PS4. I'm determined to complete it and have already overtaken my younger self, it's bloody fantastic, even better than I remembered. I've got into board games these last 12 months and it has many similarities.
@tinCAT-zero I'm the same, I've become addicted to it also in last couple of weeks and even bought the DLC (got the base game from PS+). I'm not that good at it but still love it. Did you do the challenge recently against the realife Skoda Fabia R5 drivers. Big Skoda fan me, got one for my Taxi and the wife has a Yeti too, best cars I've ever owned.

Re: 15 PS5, PS4 Games Coming to PS Plus Extra, Premium in October 2023 Update

I'm amazed it's the most popular tier.
Re: Assassin's Creed Mirage (PS5) - A Solid But Slightly Dated Return to the Series' Roots

For God's sake when will they do Ancient Rome... All these other pitiful world powers pale into insignificance.

Brilliant, just ordered a new PS4 copy for £17. I'm all for having correct box covers etc but £70 or £17? Hmm...

@tinCAT-zero https://www.skoda-motorsport.com/en/skoda-motorsport-echallenge-challenge-the-real-rally-drivers-in-the-dirt-tournament/ that was the challenge.
Your right about driving in car view, it's much better that way, at first i tried 3rd person but as soon as I switched to in car my times improved. Got the DLC last week and tried the Colin Macrae thing, way way too hard for me. Much more practice needed in base game for me. That Sierra was a nightmare too control!
