The first PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium drop of 2024 has arrived, bringing a total of 14 games to subscribers. They are all available to download now across the UK and Europe, and will go live in the USA later today. If you have forgotten what the full line-up looks like, check it out below:

I've actually never played a Resident Evil game. Horror is just a genre which sort of passed me by and I've never been that interested in, but I've heard so many good things about the remakes. Is RE2 a good place to start?
@Somapix Yes!
It's an absolute treat and a great jumping on point if you've never played any of the others.
There are some references to the first RE title, but you really don't need to have played that to enjoy everything about RE 2.
It's tense at times, but after you play through both scenarios you'll be familiar with the scares and the replayability of the game will hopefully keep you entertained.

RE2 Remake is a superb game, can't fathom why someone would say this (or the original for that matter) is the worst of the series. RE3 & 5 were definitely worse than RE2. IMO of course.
@Ajfennell77 yeah RE3 is the short one, not RE2, and it is definitely not the worst part, so that comment of Grimwood was dumb.
I always recommended Resident Evil: Dead Aim on the PS2 to my friends as a great starting point. They stopped calling me since then, guess the game took over their free time considering its quality.
@Somapix RE2 Remake is one of the best horror games ever made, not as good as the original but certainly up there with the best in the series.
As for myself I'd love to find some time to play the Mana games
RE2 is an epic game and a great remake too, just wished I could download the new games though, bleeding stream only at the mo though, where's the download?
I reckon it's a very good month.
Add my voice to RE2 remake being the pinnacle of the genre.

Once again nothing for me unfortunately. I have already played RE2 (excellent game), the rest are not something I turn my PS5 on for. Should've ended my subscription a year sooner in hindsight.
@Czar_Khastik That's just ridiculous trolling and you know it. Everyone has their own favorite games in the series, but you know very well they are not among the worst games ever made.
It's a really good month but... I already own the games I'm interested in. (Bought but haven't played yet)

If anyone here hasn't played Shadow Tactics then give it a try, it's a great game.

@LiamCroft a few seem to be showing up but they're not free with ps plus ,tiny Tina is 17 quid for some reason.
Our intrepid reporter has a special PS5, his is actually a day ahead. RE2 and Borderlands D&D are on my list. 3, 5/6 are the worst. Although it was fun in 6 on the bridge and roof, just made no sense.
there usually available 12pm eastern time... but i mean at first glance there was some interesting games but after looking at a few youtube videos the only thing worth trying is the skate sim could hold my attention for 10-30 minutes

Where is Silent Hill games for premium, Killzone games, Resistance games?
It's telling me i need to upgrade to premium to stream Tiny Tina's Wonderland, so I can't download it. I'm guessing it's because I
downloaded Tiny Tina Assault on Dragon Keep when it was a ps plus essential game last yeae.
PlayStations awful licensing issues strike again! It was the only game I'm interested in this month.
@FEWGEE1 am wondering same thing , I know I played Tina's in the past at some stage not sure about RE2 but mine just says upgrade not download.
Both mana games are what I'm after, can't wait to play them.

Weak month, they need to have a pause feature on the yearly subscription... Wish they had a variety as someone who doesn't play much shooters there isn't much to offer. Surviving the aftermath was already on ps now.
Star Wars for me. Brilliant game
